A little help for those stuck on the european 1000mile track I would highly recomend the chevrolet chevels ss 454 70' that you win from the american muscle comp and set it to b spec mode a BAM there you go you have allready won the race set it ot 5 and overtake them all once you have done that set it to 3* the speed and in a bout 1 and a half - 2 and a half hours you would have won the race insted of racing (real time of course) 5 hrs plus hope this helps
P.s. Plz rate this hint
If you want the perfect starter car do this............Go to the used car showrooms(cant remember which one)any way, do this then buy the Mitsubishi Galant. Its the perfect starter car. I did this and I won every event I could participate with it in the beginner section. Hope this helps!
How to turn of tyre ware in GT mode
I didn't see anyone having the AC 427 SC as a reccomended car. I's a little expensive but not as much as some of the supercars. I won all of the professional races that I could enter it in with this car and I was racing against a lot more expensive supercars. It also can be entered in some of the size restricted races and blows the competition away. Hope this helps.
If you're like me, you may have missed out on your chance to get the special black cars on day 694. I've been told there is no other chance to get them, but obviously there is. On day 2094, the Nissan R390 GT1 and Toyota GT-One were available in black in the early '90s lot, and the Mazda 787B and Nissan R92CP are available in the late 90's lot. The first two will cost you just under 3 million; the other two will be halfway between 1 million and 2 million credits, so you may have to sell some cars to get all four of them. It happened to be Dec.25 on the game when I saw them. So obviously, they return every cycle of 700 days from day 694.(After 2094, it should be day 2794, etc.) If you're around that time, why not check and see for yourself?
You can get an easy money by doing this.....
1. Go to SPECIAL CONDITION HALL
2. Choose to race in the second games RALLY d' CAPRI
3. Race 1 time each for forward and backward race ( take less then 10 minutes )
4. You get a prize of TOYOTA RSC RALLY RAID CAR '02
5. Sell it you will get 260K for trade-in
=== re do the above methods to get a lot of money ===
I have tried it works....
Well my awnser is a yes and a no unless, your extremely lucky.
The F1 cars might not be the fastest cars in the game but they have the best handling and acceleration
The kinds of races it's almost impossible to beat them in is the 1's with tight corners and the odd straight Eg. Tokyo R246
The kinds of races you could probibly win are races like Super Speedway and the Test course but they would get a better start.
So my advice if you want to do the Formula GT World races is get the F1 car first from the Nürburghring 24Hr race then do the F1 races, unless you are feeling extremely lucky.
If you want to finish a race that says 24H much more faster, just start therace on Bspec mode and then put on the race monitor and then press the right directional buton 2 times. You will see on the center of the screen up this thing''X3'' leave it like that. The problem with this trick is that every time the car goes to pits you will have to do it again, but you can finish a 24H race in 8H.
To win the Ruf yellow bird go to the professional events and enter boxer spirit and win all events
P.s use only rufs & subarus
Play through the game until you can manage to win the Escudo by beating Cathedral Rocks I on hard under Special Condition events. Win the Escudo, tune it, then go back and win another Escudo, which should be much easier now. Sell the new one for 765 grand. Repeat as needed
If you transfer 100,000 credits from your Gran Turismo 3 Save, I reccomend you buy the HPA Motorsports Stage II R32 '04 for around 34,000 credits. You can find this car by going to the tune shop and select HPA Motorsports. This Car has 532 BHP and will make mincemeat of the cars in the Beginner section and the special condition events. Happy Racing!
People suggest getting the ford gt I suggest beating the special condition event rally d' Umbria and gettig the Cadillac Cien when fully customized you will have over 950HP Mine has 974HP
Did you know Nurburghring is the longest track in the game
If you want to know what to use in the like the wind challange, use the Toyota Minolta, don't use the Formula Gran turismo because it spins out to easily.
If you have new cars, with 0.0 miles or Km, go and change the oil before anything. This will increase "hp". Try it out. Chek the "hp" before and then after the oil change.
Toget this easy money all you need to do is go to special events and race the medium level wet race, keep clearing the records so you also get a new car with every win, sell the car and add to the money you won. Now you should round up big bucks.
You should start out with a car in a showroom because, some of the other cars are not that good, start out with one car from the historic showroom or, the other one.
In the Supercar festival, I tried to use my Mercedes SL 65 amg FULLY modified, and I was racing against some tough competitors. There was a Cien in there, not a production car, which is what you need to use (it's one of the restrictions. You must use a production car).
Anyway, I figured since there was a Cien in there, that I could use my Cien that I won in the Special Conditions hall (easy) Rally d' Umbria, and it said I couldn't. BECAUSE it was not a production car.
Just thought I would let everyone know that you cannot use the Cien in the Supercar Festival, even though theres one in the race. ...... ???
Every 600 days go to the used and black race cars should be there for $4,000,000-$6,000,000. The cars will apear mazda 787b,nissan r92cp and more.

If your oil-warning lamp appears, your speed of your car will slow, to prevent this, Change your cars oil every 10th race.
If you buy a Ford GT, suit it up. First, give it an oil change befroe you do anything. Then put anything you can buy in it. In the end, you should have anywhere between 832-850HP. If you don't have that or over, you tuned it wrong. Then you can race it anywhere and get a win. That's how you get all the money!!! I did that to mine and know I have 800,000,000Cr. How about that!
Here are the cars that carried me to glory:
Playstation Pescarolo C60
Formula Gran Turismo (win on the Nurburgring 24h Endurance)
TVR Cerebra Speed Twelve
Mercedes SLR Mclaren (over 800 BHP before mods)
Aston Martin Vanquish (a bit slow, but it looks good in British Racing Green!)
Toyota Rally Raid Car (only win, cannot buy)
See if they make a difference.
P.S you might need a LOT of credits for these cars!
Get the Chevy Corvette convertable (C1) '54. You can only win it in the american championship, wich is in the amreican races, just in case you are too dumb to figure that out.
This car has kick ass handelling, even with sport tires. When tuned to the nuts, it has ok speed and accelaration. It is the best car you can use for those historic races for old cars.
To unlock courses, complete days in the career mode and you will randomly get a course depending how far in the game.
