Bogus Report:

If you transfer 100,000 credits from your Gran Turismo 3 Save, I reccomend you buy the HPA Motorsports Stage II R32 '04 for around 34,000 credits. You can find this car by going to the tune shop and select HPA Motorsports. This Car has 532 BHP and will make mincemeat of the cars in the Beginner section and the special condition events. Happy Racing!

Money Will Come

Unrated

Bogus Report:

If you buy a Ford GT, suit it up. First, give it an oil change befroe you do anything. Then put anything you can buy in it. In the end, you should have anywhere between 832-850HP. If you don't have that or over, you tuned it wrong. Then you can race it anywhere and get a win. That's how you get all the money!!! I did that to mine and know I have 800,000,000Cr. How about that!

B-spec 3 times faster!

Unrated
Verified by: unverified
Bogus Report:

If you want to finish a race that says 24H much more faster, just start therace on Bspec mode and then put on the race monitor and then press the right directional buton 2 times. You will see on the center of the screen up this thing''X3'' leave it like that. The problem with this trick is that every time the car goes to pits you will have to do it again, but you can finish a 24H race in 8H.

Special Black Cars

Unrated
Verified by: The Mario Bros. Team
Bogus Report:

If you're like me, you may have missed out on your chance to get the special black cars on day 694. I've been told there is no other chance to get them, but obviously there is. On day 2094, the Nissan R390 GT1 and Toyota GT-One were available in black in the early '90s lot, and the Mazda 787B and Nissan R92CP are available in the late 90's lot. The first two will cost you just under 3 million; the other two will be halfway between 1 million and 2 million credits, so you may have to sell some cars to get all four of them. It happened to be Dec.25 on the game when I saw them. So obviously, they return every cycle of 700 days from day 694.(After 2094, it should be day 2794, etc.) If you're around that time, why not check and see for yourself?

Bogus Report:

I didn't see anyone having the AC 427 SC as a reccomended car. I's a little expensive but not as much as some of the supercars. I won all of the professional races that I could enter it in with this car and I was racing against a lot more expensive supercars. It also can be entered in some of the size restricted races and blows the competition away. Hope this helps.

Versatile Starter Cars

Unrated
Verified by: unverified
Bogus Report:

Versatile starter cars are ones that are cheap, or at least new at the begining of the game.

For example, the Miata can win most Beginner events, it's one-make race, and several endurances. It can even go up to the Pro Hall and Special Conditions.

The Elise is just about the same, only many more races in Special Conditions, Pro Hall, Beginner Hall, and maybe even Extreme Hall, plus the one-make races and endurances.

Way to start! (if not got 100,000cr from gt3)

03
Verified by: unverified
Bogus Report:

The best thing to do is get your liscences first all gold if possible but you would need alot of time on your hands.

So anyway the best car to start with is by going to the 90's used car showroom.
There will be a '91 Toyota Celica GT-R in Black (better then the other colours it can come in).

Its easy to upgrade, looks fairly good, and has alot of potential, and it's damn CHEAP!

(This hint was aimed at new players)

Can you really beat F1 cars with some of the other best cars?

Unrated
Verified by: The Mario Bros. Team
Bogus Report:

Well my awnser is a yes and a no unless, your extremely lucky.

The F1 cars might not be the fastest cars in the game but they have the best handling and acceleration

The kinds of races it's almost impossible to beat them in is the 1's with tight corners and the odd straight Eg. Tokyo R246

The kinds of races you could probibly win are races like Super Speedway and the Test course but they would get a better start.

So my advice if you want to do the Formula GT World races is get the F1 car first from the Nürburghring 24Hr race then do the F1 races, unless you are feeling extremely lucky.

Good luck.

Nürburghring 24 hour race!

Unrated
Verified by: unverified
Bogus Report:

Well as most of you know, you win the polyphony Formula Gran Turismo '04 in the Nürburghring 24 hour race!

Well,

Ive heard people saying I won that race 10 laps ahead of 2nd place.

Well,

I did that race in my MINOLTA Toyota 88C-V Race Car '89 tuned to 1137Hp
And won being over 30 laps! In front of second place! On B-spec Mode so I did it 3 times quicker!

So,

For a guaranteed win on the Nürburghring 24 hour race! Use the MINOLTA Toyota or a car similar to that car.

Ps. Win the Toyota in the easy El Captain 200 Miles Race,

Good luck!

Easier money (win mercedes)

Bogus Report:

Get much easier money by getting about 600,000 credits by using special conditions race. Then buy abt-audi ttr I think it's called and put the biggest turbo charger you can find on it. Then go to european events using this car and enter german mastierscheift. You will win a mercedes clk gtr race car. This is worth 750,000 credits!!! This is much better than the other way to get a lot of money. You can repeat this over and over again... Hope this helps.

Special condition money$$(reply to easy money$$$$$$for you)

Bogus Report:

Another easy way to make money is with special condition races. I am talking like 1 million bucks in about 20-30minutes. First, go to Japanese cars and go to Subaru. Buy an Impreza Wagon(any kind). Tune it up with stage 2 turbo, racing muffler, and racing chip. Then, go to special condition races in the top left corner of the navigation screen. Go to the Beginner Rally D' Capri race. Race both forwards and backwards on this race with the Subaru you bought earlier. You should win the RSC Rally Car. Keep this one. Then, race the same race forward and backward again with the RSC Rally Car. After that, go to your garage. Sell the Impreza and ONE RSC Rally Car. Have you noticed something? The RSC is worth 250,000 dollars!!!!! Keep racing the Beginner Rally D' Capri race forwards and backwards with the RSC. Get about 5 RSC Rally Cars. Then, go to the garage. Sell all of your RSC's and get about 1,250,000 dollars, plus the money you had before!!!!!!!!! Bye!

Ok. Here is how you do it. First you get a fast car with like 400hp, then you go to the all japan racing championship, NOT the gt championship. Then, win the championship 1st overall and win a FREE 350z concept. Tune it with max turbo kit it can get. By now it should have 786 hp, or around there. NOW we go to the japan gt championship. Win first overall, and get a nissan motul pitwork z. Sell your 350z concept and then get the max turbo kit for the motul pitwork z. It has 960hp or around there. Then, keep racing in the gt championship *japanese* over and over again. Congrats!!!! You have a lot of money!!! Now you should listen to my next hint called- special condition cash$$. Bye! 1) Get your hands on a TOYOTA 88C-V Race Car(MINOLTA)'89 from El Captin 200 miles

2) Full tune it with every part and get R4 racing tires

3) I'll have further details into tuning it, but with nos I've goten it to 320mph on the test track!

How to win very fast Cars...

Bogus Report:

You need to be over 25% of Gran Turismo 4, and have the Audi Nuvolari Concept,
Make sure you do Capri Rally Easy loads getting a car worth Ģ250,000 or over, sell it loads then buy a Nissan R390 GT1 Race Car '98, (keep one RSC Car from Capri) then do Endurances, Do the Grand Valley Speedway one (I think that is the first one)then the Laguna Seca Raceway Mazda Raceway, and then do the El Capitan Raceway one, by then you will have a Audi Auto Option Streamline Race Car '37, a Ford GT40 Race Car '69, and Finally a Toyota MINOLTA 88C Race Car '89
Good Luck

Easy money

Bogus Report:

This is the ultimate way to make money, EASY!!!!!, first buy a somewhat fast car with good handling, mext go to the special conditions races, then go to the begginer rally d' capri race and race and beat it forward and backwards, after you beat both of these you will be rewarded a toyota rsc rally raid car, this is an easy way to get money because the rsc rally car is worth 250,000 dollars!!! And both these races combine is about 5 minutes long, so just sell the car after you win it and you have 250,00 extra dollars plus the money you won from the race, so, if you do the math, 20 minutes: over 1,000,000 dollars!!! Although you might want to save one of these rsc rally cars because it is a very good rally car
Good luck making money

Easily win Long Races

I know this is kinda cheap but to handle the endurance races without losing any sleep, Use the gameshark codes for inf. Fuel and tire life. Just make sure it is your tires only.

This way you never have to pit and your car will pass everyone else when they do! Just leave the system on overnight and check on it in the morning. I used a trick like this in SSBM too. Getting mewtwo is pain otherwise.

Supercar festival - professional events

Bogus Report:

In the Supercar festival, I tried to use my Mercedes SL 65 amg FULLY modified, and I was racing against some tough competitors. There was a Cien in there, not a production car, which is what you need to use (it's one of the restrictions. You must use a production car).

Anyway, I figured since there was a Cien in there, that I could use my Cien that I won in the Special Conditions hall (easy) Rally d' Umbria, and it said I couldn't. BECAUSE it was not a production car.

Just thought I would let everyone know that you cannot use the Cien in the Supercar Festival, even though theres one in the race. ...... ???

Mess with the cars when they pit stop...

Unrated

Bogus Report:

(NOTE) this only works on the High Speed Ring, reverse, I think.

On that course, there's the normal pit that goes around the corner, straight a little bit, then the pit area. But there's another way to get in that's blocked off with cones, that don't do a damn thing. It's on the straight stretch and when you see it, just whiz right through the cones, and it doesn't go into pit mode! So now you have complete freedom in the pit area... Groovy. And if there just happens to be some incredibly lucky person who is pitting, you can nail them and they can't pit, making them have to go another lap, and more than likely spin out or something. And if there's a line of cars in the pit, you can hit one, and that one hits the next one, and that one hits the next one, and so on and so forth. But when they stop, and there tires are being changed and all that good stuff, you can't hit them, you just go right through them. But it's still fun to stay in there and wait for people to come and totally mess 'em up.

Have fun

Go to Jap Grand Champ and win all races and get the motul pitwork z it is a great car to win most of the races in the game just have to fully tune it first.

I used the 24 hr races and smoked everyone by hour 6:58 I was ahead by 8 laps but run super hard tires and loosen susp a little due to uneven road surfaces.

Ok heres a good hint that will earn you about 200,000+.

And no, it's not the capri rally. Well it does have to do something with it. If you have a cadilac cien or a really fast car use it in the capri rally at least 1-2 times. Itll take about 10 minutes.

Then sell the two Toyota RSC Rally Raid Car that you get and buy a Mercedes SC65 AMG (R230) '04. Tune it till 999 hp. If it doesnt get there (if you tuned it completely) give it an oil change before racing. Buy the car in any color you would like.

Then go to the European Events and compete in the Pan Euro Championship. Play it in B-Spec the whole time. Make sure it's in 3X the speed. If you wiin you'll get about the 10,000 or 12,000 prize money and the 45,000 credits for winning the whole championship. After that you'll win a Jaguar XJ220 LM Race Car '01.

Tune it until 950 hp. (if you tuned it completly, again, give it an oil change) After that go into the Endurance Events (if you have completed the game 25%). NOTE: AFTER I WON THE JAGUAR XJ220 LM RACE CAR '02, I WON THE CAR THAT YOU WIN WHEN YOU COMPLETE THE GAME 25%. Then compete in the Tokyo R246 (i think).

Make sure the jaguar has super hard tires (R1). It'll take about 30-35 minutes. NOTE: THIS ONLY WORKS IN B-SPEC MODE IN 3X THE SPEED. You'll win a 250,000 credits cash prize and a Mitsubishi FTO Super Touring Car '97 (i think). Hope that helps!

A Little Help in the Very Beginning

Bogus Report:

If you are not able to transfer the 100,000 credits and your licences, go to Simulation Mode, go to your Home, then Garage. In Garage, press START. You should be able to transfer the credits if you have GT3 saved on to that memory card. After you get the credits, you should have 110,000 credits and however many licences you had in GT3. Go to the Used Car Showroom, look for a '98 or '99 Nissan Skyline (R-34), most likely Blue. But it and tune it up. Do the first 2 Special Condition Events to get yourself a Cadillac Cien '02. I currently have my Cadillac Cien at 1023bhp. If you cannot do what was said above, a good car to buy is an early 90's Lancer Evo. If you ever feel bored of playing or have to go take a whiz, you can play in B-Spec mode, which I find helps SO MUCH.

Hope this helps you! :D

Here's a good start. Do at least the b and a licenses without buying a car. Tune the pontiac just a little bit. Well as you want. After that go to the sunday cup and compete ten times. It's going to take a lot of time but it's worth it. You'll get a 600 credits prize money for every race. I had 0 cr. And when I was finished, I had about 33,500 credits. Then go to your garage and sell your 10 autobianchis. I think you should have about 114,000 credits after you sell them.

Later go to the dodge dealer and go to classics. Buy the viper and tune it but don't get it dirt tires. Well not yet. Then go to the special condition events hall and go to Capri Rally Easy. Do it about three (3) times. Then sell your rally cars or keep them and you should have over 300,000 credits. I have about 1,009,000 credits. It's not a fast way to get money but you'll have a fair truckload what of credits. And heres a hint, if you have two memory cards (IF you want only) pass the saved game file to the other one. So if you waste all of your credits or your game save gets ruined, you'll have a back-up one. Thats what I did and I have alot of things in one memory card and in the other one I still have my 1,009,000 mil. Of credits. Also, with the money or credits, tune your viper or buy any other car so you can then compete in the Rally D' Umbria and win in first place. You'll get a Cadillac CIEN '02 hope that helps.

Suspension tuning

Bogus Report:

Here is a simple way to improve you ride.
First you have to buy at least the Semi-Racing suspension kit

Lower the ride height as low as you can
Increase the Spring Rate to max
Increase shocks to 1 or 2 below max
Set front camber between 3 and 4 (I usually use 3.5)
Set rear camber at about 1.0
Now to costom tune!
If the car bounces, Raise the ride height and increase the shocks
If it is hard to apply the brakes, lessen the front camber.

I used this on real cars so I know it works!
05 Mustang GT that won the American GT Championship
This won't work on race cars because they probably have been custom tuned already.

Get the Chevy Corvette convertable (C1) '54. You can only win it in the american championship, wich is in the amreican races, just in case you are too dumb to figure that out.

This car has kick ass handelling, even with sport tires. When tuned to the nuts, it has ok speed and accelaration. It is the best car you can use for those historic races for old cars.

A few tips

Bogus Report:

When starting the game, do the Gran Turismo 3 trick (if you dont it wont work) then buy a nissan skyline as your first car. Gain a bit of money in the beginner races, then soup it up. Mine has 670 HP and is my second best car (my best is my 907 HP cadillac cien 02) and give the nissan dirt and snow tires. If your a good driver, you should be able to clear all the special condition races with the nissan alone.

I've just completed this race and have found that if you use, get this....the Suzuki Escudo Dirt Trials Car w/ super-hard tires and (in B-Spec) set your speed on Slow Down (1) and Overtake. I ended up over 10 laps ahead of the Audi TT Touring Car. I now have my Polyphony Formula Gran Turismo or whatever it is. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!

Different paint jobs

Bogus Report:

In case any one is wondering, when you win a car the game gives it to you with a certain paint job but if you do that same series of races again you will win that same car but sometimes with a different paint job. For instance I have a black and yellow polyphony formula gran turismo but I also have it with a castrol white green and red paint job and there are a few other colors you can get it in. Other cars that you can get this with are:
Mazda rx7 LM race car
Mitsubishi fto super touring race car
Mercedes 300 sl coupe
There are a few more I think and I know there are at least 5 paint jobs for the fto.
