Page 2, Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec Hints for PlayStation 2
Heres how to beat GT3. Start your liscences and get all golds.
Next, sell what you won except for the Dodge Viper GTS-R Concept.
Next go to the Time Trial and beat the #1 target time on all of the time trials. You will win a Panoz Esprante GTR-1 Race Car. You can sell it for $500,000.00 or keep it.
I reccomend selling it because it is not worth having. Soup up your Viper Concept.
You should have more than 700hp. Then take it and go to the Like the Wind race and take first place. Don't worry about pitting. For first place you win a 787B. Soup that up and go to Endurance.
Go all the way to the right and enter with the Concept or the 787B. Don't want to sit for an hour? Just get two rubber bands.
Set the left analog stick to the left with the rubberband as acceleration. Next, put the right one as steering and put it to the right with the second rubberband. Lastly, start racing.
You will win the FO90/S. Then win all the other Endurnace Races. You will win these F1 cars: F686/M, F687/S, FO90/S, FO94/H, F688/M and FO94/S.
Then with these cars win the Formula GT Championship. I reccomend using the F687/M, or the F688/M.
You have now beaten the main race in GT3. Now go to the Polophony Digital Cup. You now already have all of the F1's aim for the Pikes Peak or another car.
Then complete Gran Turismo All-Stars in both leauges (Ameteur first) with your F688/M. Win and you get the Mines Skyline GT-R N1- V-Spec, GT40, and Raybrig NSX.
Then do the Professional One. Go to the American Championship and win the series. You will win the Subaru WRX STi, Camaro Race Car (aim for this), RX8 not sure of the last one.
Get the Camaro Race Car. Go to the Gran Turismo World Championship and win the series. Get the Skyline GT-R V-SpecII R34 (J).
This is the Beginner Leauge. Then the GT-One Road Car in the Amateur Gran Turismo World Championship. Continue in this fashion completing all of the major races.
Then do the single races with three events until you finish the Simulation Mode. For Arcade mode finish all of the tracks on Easy, Medium, and Hard. Complete this and you get the FO94/H (best car in game).
Miscellaneous ways to win cars 50% done Corvette C5-R. 75%done 787B. 100% Polyphony001. Don't fret, throw your controller in Oblivion, pray to the GT Gods and ask them to help you, or live in fear for the rest of your life just because someone said GT3.
For Rally (oh how I hate it, I'm the street course type. Street coures rock! Uh I think so. The Pikes Peak dosen't think so.
Why that little, oh yeah the Pikes Peak can't think) just take the Skyline GT-R V-specII that you won, soup it up, and put rally tires on it and let them eat speed, handling, a car whizzing by and this is what you've been waiting for... DIRT.
"Eat my dirt (not dust) rice burners!" I bet you've always in some walkthrough/FAQ you have wanted to hear (or do I mean read) that.
You've waited for years (yes, I said years Pschyco Gamers) to read that in a FAQ/ Walkthrough. Now you've beaten GT3 (yes, for those who feel the shackles you have been released.
Ha! I've wanted to say that for years, oh I haven't been around that long). The End (I'll be back Supercheats, I'll be back, or will I... Yeah I will does that awnser your suspense? Does it?! Yeah it does).
(to begin with can I just point out that if your car is open-top its tune ups are cheaper than closed top cars. The prices I have are based on closed tops).
To begin with, Get the A and B Domestic licenses, then buy a PT Cruiser. Then race on the sunday cup. Try to complete them all. If it is too hard just race the super speedway a few times and use the money to buy a level 1 turbo(cr.?), racing chip(cr.1100) and level 1 body lightener(cr.1100) or whatever its called. Dont buy any engine tune-ups cos they are too expensive and pointless after a bit. Start to save up for the level two turbo(cr.4500) and other stuff to boost acceleration. If you complete the sunday cup you are awarded your first car. Its a crap Toyota Trueno. Sell it. Dont spend the money.
Work on the second cup untill you win the Mazda Mx5. Even if you get enough cash to buy one, dont. When you win it spend the cash you won tuning it up (same rules apply as before, buy turbos and accelerator boosters. Forget about engine tunings.) Win some more untill there isnt much left to add to it then when it has most things and can get to about 225 mph. To test it is correctly suped. Race on the sunday cups Super Speedway and win and wait for the results.
If the last car didnt finish for 30 seconds after you then your ready. Go to the Very last championship in the beginners leage and enter the super speedway rcae. Check all the competetors are normal rally cars and there are only cars like:Escort rally car, Subaru rally car, Focus rally car etc... nothing else. It has to end in rally car. If its right then forget about qualifiying just race. They will get ahead of you at first but you should catch up very soon.
You should win pretty easily as the rally cars can only get to about 200mph and you 225 is enough to take them on the long straights. If you come in 1st then you get cr.10,000! BEWARE:Ther are other cars better than the rally cars that race in this one and the Mitsubishi Lancer rally car can go 225mph like you!
You must have two memory cards to do this, copy your file on to the second memory card.
Load the game and trade the best car on the other memory to this memory card.
Repeat until you have the amount of money you want.
Beat Seattle circut twice to win Palphon F1 racer, it's a bad car but don't tweek with it's gears, it messes it up - best car in game great turning!
An easy way to get money is to save up for an NSX type R (99,000). It seems a lot of money but it is worth it. Then enter the R-tybe chalenge on begginer mode. You will win 5,000 per race (5) and 10,000 for winning the championship. You then get an Acura RSX, it is not very good but you can sell it for 75,000. By doing this once you already earn what you spent on the NSX and you can do it over and over again. I've earned at least 500,000 from it.
Hey, here's a speed cheat if you hold r2 down while your driving you will beable to go about 5miles faster it does help in some acations.
If your patient and new just keep on winning the first race at first place over and over after just 10 times theres 10,000 there to spend, but im a pro so i do the endurance championships over and over to get a lot of money
Start of with the Mazda Miata (J) and buy what you can to upgrade it. Get your licenses till you get your International amatuer license (ia).
Then race till you get $81,000 on any track you want. Then buy a Tuscan speed six. It kicks but hard! It has awesome accleration. Thing is it eats oil. Keep racing till it is fully upgraded. Then go race the 150 mile super speedway track.
I got a Corvette C5R. Then race what track you want.

The best way to make some money is to spend some money. Work your waqy up by repeating a race your good at. Once you have earned about 750,000.00$ buy a real race car and add a tourbo and some race tires (approx.100,000.00$ in all). Then go to the last champoinship (Dream car champoinship)in the amateur league. They are relatively easy and have a good pay off. When you run the champoinship each of the seven races will give you 25,000.Cr. The champoinship itself pays 150,000.Cr.when you win it (Points not races) and you get a race car which can be sold for about 100,000.00Cr. Do the math. 7 Races at 25,000.Cr 150.000.Cr for the champoinship and 100,000.Cr race car gets you a nice sum of 425,000.Cr. in about 1 hour.
You will need the money ounce you have passed the S-Permit. You'll see why!
I dont know if u want easy money but if you can hold onto every little bit of money and get a Viper GTS, you can kick some ass.
Mine is pretty close to maxed out at 1057 i think (somethin close to that) it can get to 200 on a straitaway. i havent tested it yet.
But with a little more tweaking you can get it to reach those speeds easily.
Also if anybody knows how to do racing modifications on like the Viper or Mustang could u please email me.
Actualy the best car in the game is the Polyphony 001 that can be won from the 100 lap endurance race at super speedway.
However the first time you do this race you may not win it but just keep trying (i won it on my seventh race)Believe me it is well worth it as it can take any corner at its top speed of around 375 km/h.
The beat car is not the escudo pike peak version!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it is the polyphony racing car! it accelerates like a bullet, brakes like a sumpthing and is has almost 900bhp
to get this car win 3 endurance races all on the super-speedway 100 lap race!
The Best car is not escudo not poliphony 002 it is poliphony001 because it can take the corners that usualy need lifting flat and corners needing the brakes a lift.
To get it just get all licences and race endurence speed way 150 you will get a chev mod but to make it easier just put a desk or somthing on the exelerator and an elastic band on the analog so the car turns to the RIGHT RIGHT to keep out of the pits note:
Use a very fast car then watch a moive then you will have 200 cr and a nice car maybe the f1. the polyphony is not a f1 its a cros between indy and formula 3000 that why it reves like that and has a low nose.
Then race the last race in profesional league if you have the 002 you cuold win i do but i get a 1,03.56 at apricot hill with the 002 but with the 001 a 0,58,07.if you beat ethier one with the car noted post it and ill congratulate you note : its impossible with a normale car.
When driving always go into the corner go slow in and fast out so you have a higher speed on the straight. eg:
At a tight hair pin brake early and exelerate in the middle of the corner I dont mean slow down to much to soon but a little about 7 metrs early.
Webby's note: Well that is one desperado cheat!
How to get a good car:
If you are just starting the game you should buy the Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-Apex. (AE-86 Type I)Go to Sunday cup in Beginner League. Keep on racing on Super Speedway and come in first place every time. Then when you can afford the Ford Mustang SVT Cobra buy it at the car dealer. But you need money leftover. Once you buy it go to the Tune Shop and by everything you can to boost the horsepower. Then complete the Sundy and Clubman cups. Then if you think you are a good driver go to Amaetur League and go to super speedway in the Japenesse Cup.Keep on racing Super Speedway until you get a lot of money like 50,000. Then go to Endurence races and then go to Super Speedway 150 miles and win that race. If you win you get a Corvette C5R,Tickford race car,F090/S, or some other car. Once you win a car then go to the Endurence race for Seattle Circuit 100 miles and race that with your new car. Keeping on racing that place until you get the F687/S. The indy car has great speed, accelrattion, and turning.
If you want to have alot of money and cars well listen up. First when you get Granturismo you should have eighteenthousand dollars$.Then go to the cardealer and buy a daishuta I might have spelled that wrong but you know what I'm talking about. Or a Chrysler.
I reccomend a Chrysler. Note get all license first!!! Then go to go race and begginers league. race the very very first race and try your very best to get first it might be a little hard but that's why I would reccomend you should tune up your car a tad before you race if you have enough money$.
Then after you win all three races you should win a car. It'll be red with liftup lights. Then use this car to race In the other begginer league races. and then you'll win another car and then after that another and every now and then tune your car up a little so it'll be easier to win 1st.
Then after you race all the begginer league races that you can race you should have enough money to buy the 3000GT from Mitshubishi Japanese car dealer. Note buy azakly that car do not I say not buy any other car.
Because you can tune this car up to one thousand Hp and up. Next tune this car up to atleast 442Hp. Then go race 10 times in the begginers league once again and win 1st place. And then take all that prize money and buy dirt racing tires.
Then go to go race and RallyEvents and race atlest six different sections of the events. Example you should have six rally cars that you've won. Then sell all the cars. But you don't have to sell the 3000GT if you don't want to because if you put enough money time and work into it it'll be very fast. Next you should have plenty enough money to buy A Zondac12 Italian car or a ruf. note if you are going to buy the zonda buy the 352thousand dollar one because it's much faster then the other Zonda. I reccomend the zonda other than the ruf. Then go to the Amatuer league and race in the first races. then every now and then tune it up a little until it gets up to 819HP.
Then you should have barely enough horse power to go to the pro league then after that tune the zonda if you bought it to onethousand furty four horse power. and you should be able to race in just about any pro race.
Then you'll win better cars and get more money and you'll be able to buy more fancier cars. Welp I hope this cheat code helps you Goodbye.
Try to get a good begginer car and upgrade it. Then go to the track were you get $5,000 and do it a cople of times and buy a better car.
I got the Mustang.
Super Cheats Rule!
The F090/s race car would be one of the best cars in the game.
You could use it for a lot of the endurance races and race it in either Beginner, Amatuer, and Proffesional leagues which would give you a good boost in completing the game.
Another good car would be the Escudo Pikes Peak Version. It cant go over 207mph but it is effective in many ways.
You can use it to do the Rally Events and it works good on the Super Speedway 150 miles in Endurance Races.
I hope I helped you out.
