Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is the best GTA game to date, even now with the release of the later games in the series like San Andreas and Liberty City Stories it is still the best in the series. The story line is great and you are never short of things to do with literally hundreds of fun and challenging missions. With a host of great chracters this is definately a must have for any PS2 owner a great addition to anyones collection.

some people above were saying that Tommy Vercetti was in GTA 3, but he wasn't.

Then another person said it was tony cipriani.

Tony Cipriani was someone you worked for in GTA3. allow me to say a quote from GTA3. "nobody, I mean nobody....messes with tony cipriani!"

(He also called in on chatterbox and threatened lazlow "if your tracing this call, ur gonna be real familiar with what your brains look like!")

OK, so anyways. some people say that this game is the same as GTA3, but improved.

GTA VC is so much better! no one else has mentioned this, but one of the greatest things about GTAVC that you can't do in GTA3 is shoot someones head off through their windshield.

In GTA3, its like the windshields are all made of bulletproof steel! also, another thing I enjoyed that no one else mentioned.

Your character acually has a voice! and who could forget his great flower shirt!, I mean, it's so fit for a gangster.

The graphics arent as good as some of the other PS2 titiles out there, but what it lacks in graphics, I makes up in excellent gameplay!

I know the true reason why this game is so good.

It's because everyone has a boring life, and with this game, they can pretend they have a exciting, action packed, gangster life.

You control Tommy Vercetti in Vice City.

You can either follow the game misions and take out your foes or... for a real challenge...

Go crazy and deliver pizzas to help along your stamina or if you feel like being a bit nice then you can maybe fight crime or ride in an ambulance, rushing people to hospital.

Either way you'll find lots to do city and maybe.. if your in the mood... go clubbing in the Malibu.

Best game from Rockstar yet. Can't wait for San Andreas.

I already know how other people say this game is great and everything, and it is and I 100% fully agree.

But they did miss some very vital information, for instance: You can use kick*ss weapons to eliminate stupid, idiotic, rude people or enemies!!

And You can go everywhere about 99.9% anywhere and your character insults others, for example- "Damn Florida a**holes!" or "Cheap, bastard.

" It's really wicked funny to hear him insult others and it IS! Oh yeah and what the cop's say 2 of my favorites like: " If you make me run I'll get all sweaty" and also "Yur in the way there."

It is SO damn hilarious because they say it like they have a lollipop in their mouth-L.O.L. Oops gotta go I just gotta play, Vice, City gotta go!

A lot has to be said about this game.

It is truly one of the best, most interesting, free-roaming game on the planet.

Its full of stuff to do, wich you can do in your own time and pace, its got lots to complete, its challenging, satisfying, and a excellent game to play.

Although some gamers may say it is a rip off of GTA 3, that no effort was put into it.

I partly agree, considering the game really is just GTA 3 except with a new storyline, a couple of new moves and cars, and some new weapons.

One thing that most GTA fans loved about this game was the soundtrack. Real songs from real bands and artists from the 1980`s.

Some very famous, like Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden or Run DMC. The game also enables you to buy property on the map like companys, business`s, or services.

Or, houses, condos, and appartements, or buy new, powerful weapons and have different weapon slots, like a melee weapon slot, or a handgun, sub-machine gun, grenades, shotguns etc. and the gangs in Vice City stand in little crowds instead of just wandering around the streets by themselves.

There is also a huge new selection of cars, some previously from GTA 3, like the stallion or the idaho, or, new ones like the sabre or phoenix. Theres lots of new things in Vice City, but its still like GTA 3.

Take a cream cake. Add a little more cream. Take GTA 3, add little more stuff.

But adding more cream can make you feel ill, adding more stuff can make things boring. Same game, more stuff. Same cream cake, more cream.

GTA 3 probably was the better game, people enjoyed it more because they had never seem anything like it, but Vice City is like the second piece of gum. Not as good as the first one.

The public had seen this kind of thing before, so it was`nt as good a thrill. Let`s hope GTA San Andreas is something better and different.

THE BEST GAME ON THE PS2! it is what the ps2 was made for it has everything in it,its really good.

Anyone stupid enough not to have bought it yet or played it march yourself right out that door young/old/middleaged man/woman and buy it and be proud for you have just held one of the best game in the world,everyone bow and marvel in its glory!

Anyway if you like driving games,shooting games and/or free roaming games you will love this there is lads of missions to keep you satisfied.

I think this game is off the heezy fo sheezy ya`ll. who doesnt love violence,strippers,and lots of dirty language.

This is the only game that I know of where you can steal cars, rob people and shoot the whole city up.

This is the best game for the Playstation 2 by far.

It is the best game without a main menu so you can "free ride" and do missions all at the same time.

I think this game is fun and exciting, I would give it a rating of 9/10...!

I think this is an awesome game, it would be a great christmas gift for about anybody and on a scale from 1-10 I would give it a 15.

Overall, I really liked this game(even though it does get a little repetitive).

It would be a great christmas gift for anyone over about age 8 (because of repetitive violence and gore).

Although it is a good game, I feel that if you really want to bring out it's potential, you must use cheats. The game is just a lot more fun that way.

GTA: Vice City is one of the best games I've ever played in my life. It's got everything from action to drama! On a scale from 1-10 I'd give it an 11!

This game was real cool and I hope they come out w/ another one that is even better so I can beat that one also.

The graphics were great and the weapons could have been a little more realisc other than that I would recomend everyone beat this game more than once.

I'll give Grand Theft auto: Vice city 1313 out of 10! it has it all bikes, car, guns, and big money!
