I know that this review is kind of late but I must write it. I'm not a big sports fan but all my friends are and tired of getting beat at football games.

One main driving point of this game was the price! $19.99 for a brand new football game which all the magazines reviews and preveiws all said it would be tough competetion for the Madden seris.

I think that this game is better that madden football any day of the week. The franchise mode is cool because you can decide how much involvement you want in your teams development.

The major upsets and victories of historic games can be played as well. You can even play against some celebrities and their custom teams.

Who says that Jamie Kennedy can not get his own team? If you feel adventerous you can make your own character or your own team.

The only problem with this game is that the online play is rough. By that I mean you could be playing some with dial-up and suddenly they disappear and you have wasted X amount of time playing this person without a finish to your game.

The second thing wrong with the online play is that everyone on there has their own 'super team'.

That's cool and all but it is not exactly fun for people you don't want every big star they could fit in their salary cap.

If you like football rent this game, if you love football you should buy this game. It will not disappoint you!!
