When you have a few characters about Level 45-50 there is an easy way to level up. With Adell go to the Dark Assembly and pass the 'Cave of Ordeals' request with 700 Mana. This will unlock the Cave of Ordeals in your Dimension Gate selection.

What you have to do is go to Ordeal 1, inside Cave of Ordeals, and you will be up agaisnt 8 Bow Masters standing on squares affected by Geo Panels. They'll be about Level 60. With a mage, or someone who can attack at distances, attack any of the Geo Panels. This will, after the Geo Panel is destroyed, cause a chain reaction which will take all 8 Bow Masters down to low health. Then you can use area attacks such as Adell's Soaring Flame, Yukimaru's Setsugetsuka or any of the mage's 2 square diagonal spells. This will probably kill all the Bow Masters giving you your bonuses along with large amounts of experience.

The bonuses are also rather useful as they include high ranked items which you can sell and also Experience boosts and Hell boosts.

Once you are about the same level as the Bow Masters you should then go and pass the 'Stronger Enemies' request and keep repeating this until you are the level you wish to be.

This can be achieved extremely early as I am doing it at Chapter 9 before getting Etna. It works as well as I went from a Level 48 Adell to a Level 102 Adell in less than 12 hours.
