Digimon World 4 Hints for PlayStation 2
1.Undead Yard
-------------
-Digi-elf Location: Northeast corner in Terminal Area
-Requirements:
Normal Mode- Have at least 2 digivolutions.
Hard Mode- Have at least 5 digivolutions.
Super Hard Mode- Have at least 8 digivolutions
-Objectives:
Normal Mode- Eliminate all 279 digimons within 30 minutes.
(156-1st floor, 123-2nd floor)
Hard Mode- Eliminate all 302 digimons within 40 minutes.
(157-1st floor, 145-2nd floor)
Super Hard Mode- Eliminate all 302 digimons within 50 minutes.
-Note: Check the maps section for a complete description of this side quest
From 1F to 2F. Don't destroy the tower in the 2F where the Mummymons are coming
From. Don't jump yet on the ledge after the area where you fight bunch of Mecha
Rogues.

2.Card Retrieve
---------------
-Digi-elf Location: North of the Card Keeper. The upper-right one.
-Requirements:
Normal Mode - 25 kinds of cards
Hard Mode - 30 kinds of cards
Super Hard Mode - 45 kinds of cards
-Objectives:
All Modes- Defeat Scorpiomon and bring back Booster Pack to the digielf.
-Note: When you begin this side quest, you will be told that you cannot use gate
Disks and that you CANNOT recover either HP or MP.
Dorumon - Finish this side quest with I HP remaining. - Medjai (not sure)

3.Barbarian Cave
----------------
-Digi-elf Location: Northeast corner in Terminal Area
-Requirements: Just talk to that digi-elf.
-Objectives:
All Modes- Defeat Mammothmon.
-Note: Time doesn't matter. It just affects on what bits and item the team
Leader or members will get. You just need to kill Mammothmon. Use the same
Tactics on him just like in the Death Valley. But beware, he is more powerful
And deadly now.

4.Item Retrieve
---------------
-Digi-elf Location: North of Card Keeper. Upper-left one.
-Requirements: Start any other side quest. Then talk to this digi-elf to start
The sidequest.
-Objectives:
All Modes- Bring back an item that the digi-elf is interested in, you don't
Have to give that item to him.
-Note: A way to cheat is to bring the item along with you before starting the
Quest. Therefore, after going through the dungeon, simply show the digielf that
Item.

5.Item Road
-----------
-Digi-elf Location: North of the Card Keeper.
-Requirements: Beat the game entirely.
-Objectives:
All modes- Just beat the boss. No need to worry about the number of
Treasures you find.
-Note: Proceed to the Battle Arena, Machine Pit. Look around and you will find a
New dungeon being opened. You should find out that Item Road has been opened.

6.Item Trading
--------------
-Digi-elf Location: North of the Card Keeper.
-Requirements:
Normal Mode- Trade with PrinceMamemon at least 5 times
Hard/Super Hard Mode - Trade with PrinceMamemon at least 8 times
-Objectives:
All Modes- Simply try to trade with a lot of digimon in the Trading Hall and
Satisfying as many digimon as possible.
-Note: Check the map section to find out which digimons to trade with. Also note
That the specialised weapons are found here.

7.Seal the Souls
----------------
-Digi-elf Location: Northeast corner in Terminal Area
-Requirements: Defeat MaloMyotismon and talk to that digielf ALONE.
-Objectives:
All modes- Place the item on the machine then escape the dungeon within 15
Minutes. But in order to get the digivolution, you must escape the dungeon with
A 10 minutes remaining.
-Note: Make an imaginary map in your mind of what routes you've been run
Through. Find the easiest route to find the exit. You need to face 8 monsters
In order to flee. 6 in the first time then 2 near the read door, which leads
To the exit. It composed of only 2 floors so it shouldn't be a problem.

8.Summoning of Gekomon

Digi-elf Location: Opposite of the Armory Shop
-Requirements: Speak to the Digielf once, then proceed to Mangrove Forest. And
find the big, brown door opened.
-Objectives:
All Modes- Defeat all digimons being summoned by Gekomon before the time runs
Out. Time runs out when the green clock in the middle turns completely red.
You must defeat about 4-8 Otamamon, 4 Gekomon, and 1 ShogunGekomon.
-Note: You must defeat this side quest 3 times in order to successfully
Complete this side quest.

9.Legendary Arena
-----------------
-Digi-elf Location: Opposite the Data Keeper
-Requirements: Speak to the digielf once, then proceed to Dry Land and find the
arena.
-Objectives:
All modes- Simply press both switches in Mummy Desert and Grief Wasteland.
One is near on the entrance to Grief Wasteland and the other one is on the
Ledge of Grief Wasteland. You should hear a sound of something being lowered
After switching both switches. Then proceed to an area near the exit of Grief
Wasteland and you should find a platform being lowered. Drop down to begin the
Fight.
Defeat SkullGreymon with a bunch of Mummymon on by his side.
-Note: You must defeat SkullGreymon 3 times to completely finish this side
Quest.
If you didn't talk to the digielf before going to Dry Land, you will fight
Arukenimons instead of SkullGreymon. So beware.

10.Wormhole Dungeon/Wamu Platform

-Digi-elf Location: North of the Card Keeper.
-Requirements: Complete all 9 other side quests.
-Objectives: Beat the boss.
-Note: This quest is quite difficult. Just focus on going through the dungeon
And fight enemies.

Note: Just remember the basics of the game and it will come good. Check.
this hint only can work by use alphamon.first you go to birdramon and talk to him and you get Omnimon.(hard mode only)
This hint can be only use with Otamamon.First you go to birdramon at shop area.Then talk to him then do the mission that him give(this mission very easy like you must kill 10 enemies at the area given).After that talk to him again and you get Wargreymon x and H-kabuterimon.
There are hiddend rooms in the trader hall quest you can get in to them by go ing the false walls at the top of each of the side corridors or the false wall in the centrel side rooms.
Death Valley=Goblin Cave,Rotating hall(goblin)
Mummy Dessert=Around Purple Pillar(don't destroy the pillar it's fragile)(scorpiomon)
Venom Jungle=I don't think so there is any..
Machine Pit=Places where you need to press the switch and turn the bridge(a robotic spider looking digimon)(Not arukenimon)
Best=Mummy Dessert
Agumon: agumon is waiting at the entrance to the native forest when you first start
Meramon: meramon is in some caves in the drill tunnel
Palmon: go through the native forest, right down as far south as you can go, you should find patamon
Birdra: on the top floor of the grand canyon, keep going through the native forest and you will get there, find the lift
Centuramon: go east then north in the mangrove region and you'll find amida forest, take lots of recoveries, he will shoot you, also be prepared for a champion battle after him
Tyrannomon: just after getting centuramon to join you will enter dino land or something and he'll challenge you
Drimogemon: in the drill tunnel there's a diggion digimon who will challenge you after talking to him a few times, then I think he goes to dig and eventually opens up the meramon cave... After he does that he'll join the city
Sukamon: reach the top of trash mountain and talk to all the sukamons there, one of them will join
Garurumon: not quite sure if he joins but if you go through misty trees and east into freezeland he'll be in the way telling you you must fight him to pass, I died due to lack of preperation
Coelamon: if thats how you spell his name. Go to coela point and there will be a shadow in the water, talk to him and he takes you across, the bridge will be fixed too, if you run back round the bridge and talk to him again he'll join, he only shows up if you have centuramon and he's useless except for the points
Veggiemon: once you have a rain plant go to the native forest, near the mangrove region there's a small green plant, your character says you need to do something or it'll die, it says "use items?" say yes and select the rain plant, veggiemon joins
Betamon: in the mangrove region there's a betamon that looks different to the rest and just stands there, talk to him and he joins
Greymon: I don't have a digimon strong enough to beat him yet but once you have 12+ prosperity points talk to jijimon then leave his house, greymon challenges you
Leomon: go to the gear savanna, go immediately east then follow the path north until you find a patamon running from a goburimon or whatever the name is, leomon will save him, follow him and find that he is looking for something his ancestors left behind, go to the drill tunnel and look for him there

When you have a lot of money make 2 saves of your digemon go on 2 players and load both saves of your digemon and get one of them to give the other one all his money then save the onewith all the money of then over both of them keep doing this and you will have lots of money!!!!
When you have got the 2 first keys go to the guard room and 39 goborimon will appear kill them and go throught to rotating room and then go back and keep doin this till you want to leave or get on with the story.
1. EASY EXPERIANCE.
At the start of the game, you have an option of repeating the tutorial. You can keep repeating it, gaining experiance, and a HPa disk every time you finish it.
1b. When you get to Dry Land, head to the right and there will be scorpians that re-apear because of the black tower. When you destroy it, they will stop re-apearing.
Destroy the scorpians till you think your ready to leave, and then destroy the tower and finish the last of them off.
2. HIDDEN ROOM.
When you go to the Aybiss of Greif [I think it's that] when you face the only Ogremon there will be a blank wall behind him [and the other Gobruimon] and attack the wall [magic does not work on it] and there will be a chest. First time you get it it should be a grand blade. After that it is a random chip.
3. THE STORM TRAIN.
When you get on the Storm Train for the Dry Land quest, there is an order you have to follow. Forward, Forward, Right, Forward, Right, Left. Make sure you hit the bleeping red handles after you get past the stops. Lady-Devi-Demimon [they look like bats] will board your train.
4. STARTING DEAD YARD AND BARBIARION CAVE MINI-QUESTS
After you free all the digi-elves, go upstairs in the Terminal Area and talk to the 2 elves on the left. The first will do Barbarion Cave and the second will do Dead Yard. [I recomend you do Dead Yard with a friend. You get 30 minutes to kill 279 enemies, which I couldn't do at level 31.]
5. MP SKILLS.
You start off with a petty fire,ice,or thunder attack, then you get a force [help or hurt stats] at level 12, and a petty healing move at level 22.
6. NUMENUME RIVER. You do not have to free all the digi-elves at one time. You can free two, then six, then one, and then get the last one.
Dont attack the numemon, focus on the cages and rocket-launchers.
