DoA2:Hardcore has now been surpassed by the amazing VF4. But how was it when it first came out?



It displayed great graphics on the PS2 although there were a few jaggies. The Japanese voices were great. What was so good about the game was its gameplay. With its multi-tiered levels, huge combos and reversals, it became addicting to me very soon. The multiplayer is even better. Having tag battles with 3 other friends is a great feat. Unlike TTT, where if one character dies in tag battle, you lose the match, you would have to get through two opponents of your adversaries. With its many difficulty selections and fun gameplay, this game has a great replay value.
