to do this you must first complete narune village and get the old gaffer shop or complete auntie laura's house if you complete the house she will give a DRANS feather use it as an active item and press square if you get it from the gaffer you must buy it for 50 gilda do the same thing and bingo ( ps you can only use this inside a dungeon)

To do this cheat you must 1:go to ANY store 2:scroll to the bottom of the right menu under items 3:go to the bottom of the store menu without scrolling 4:go to the right of the left menu and press right and X at the same time. You can then go back to 2 but go to the third row instead of the fourth/last. Then to the second and first. Then go to the menu (press triangle) and go back to 1 untill your inventory is full. Now the stuff only I and a few others know...

Sometimes the glitch will look like a fixed dagger instead of a broken one. This is bad. Do not use it. Save, reset, and throw it away. To that one person toad or whatever, it IS a glitch. It is in the programming but it is hidden in the code. An accident if you will. Anyway some things, if you already have a glitch equipped do not equip another as it will reduce all your stats to 0. If you have a bonus (durable, quench, fragile, etc.) you won't get the full effect of the glitch. When you upgrade your weapon all the bonuses you get from the glitch will go away and any you previously had will return.

If you try the glitch when you have the attachment screen open instead of the items, you will get an invisible, undestroyable, evil little item. It takes up a slot does nothing can't be thrown out until you reset and if you try to do anything with it, it indefinitely freezes your game so you lose your progress. Try not to have this happen. This can also happen with that fixed dagger and sometimes with the broken ones.

With this item you can get a cronicle sword very quickly. This is the strongest sword I know of. It builds up from the Altamillia Sword. Good luck. You can also get a 7th Heaven which builds up from a Dark Cloud (yeah that thing you thought might be legendary or something; it comes from a Bone Rapier if you play it right.) and it's a sword just so you know. To unlock the windmill slash, a powerful attack that will hit everything around you, you must get 100% in all three categories of the Georama Analysis for Norune Village. To do this you have to first collect everything (for "Collection") then piece it all together ("Completion") then ask all the villagers "How should I rebuild Norune?" and put their house where they want it ("Request"). Here is how it goes:

Macho's, near the Divine Beast Cave
Laura's, away from the mayor's house
Paige's, near the pond
Claude's, near Laura's house
Hag's, infront/facing drans windmill

The REAL Dagger Cheat

I have tested this cheat and it works sucsessfuly.
You might have heard of the Dagger Trick where a broken dagger
Can max out your weapons. This is wrong.It makes them malfunction.
What you realy need to do is...

1 Go to the Old Gaffers buggy and shop there. 2 On the right screen, the one with YOUR items on it, scroll all the way down.

3 Now go to the right screen and hover your hand thing over the gold bullion like you are going to buy it. Now Press X and Right button. You need precise timing.When you lok on the right screen you should be on the attatchment screen but there something that looks like a Missingno type thing. If you don't know what Missingno is then a glitched up pink thing.It will not harm your game.

4 Put it on a weapon, but, only put one of them on your your weapon. Some of your stats should be max.
Upgrade your weapon then put another one on. Remember, Only one should be put on. More than one and the results can be terrible.
One shot and your weapon will break is one of these terible things.

This is good for building up weaker weapons like the wise owl sword.


Mardan/Baron Gyaran.

Mardan

Legendary fish mardan and Baron Gyaran can only be caught in certain ways.
The mardan only eats Poison Apples.
Go to Muska Racka at Duck, or Matataki. Muska Racka is easier, and fish in the oasis, there should be a slightly big fish. Not very big, just big-ish.
Use a poison Apple as bait and throw it towards the fish. If it goes for it it's a maradan. No other fish eat Poison apples.They are worth from 180-290 points I think.

Baron.

Again go to muska Racka and Dusk but stock up well on Minion, Gooey Peach and Potato Cakes.
Go to the oasis and choose to fish. This time look for a fish that is bigger than the rest Throw in the goey peach first. Then if it ignores it, throw in the Minion if it igniors that then throw in the Potato cake. Be careful, Den and some other fish tend to copy the Baron. Pull it in and if it is a Baron you are one lucky guy/girl/thing.they are worth around 500-1000 points.

Dark Genie is so easy.

Getting tired of switching your attributes just to defeat him.
Easy. Just don't have an attribute on your weapon.ok so it's slightly lower power but not much. Easy and fast.

You may have heard of the Old Gaffer glitch that allows you to power up you weapons. I am here to tell you that, First, it is not a glitch, this must have been put into the programing on purpose, therefor, I believe there is no risk of corrupting a save file. And Second, it can be done at any store in the game. I hope I cleared that up.

This is one of the hardest cheats I have ever done

1. Go to the old man's item shop in the first village
2. Make sure the left windo is the attachment item slots
3. Hilight a blank square and VERY quickly press X then right

It is sometimes good and sometimes bad, if done correctly, the powerup/powerdown will look like a broken daggar
You can do this more than once- with different results

First complete the parts for Dran's Windmill then go into Dran's Windmill and get all the three or four boxes. It should be there. Hope it helped. HAPPY GAMING :D
