Unlock Hard Mode:

Complete the game once then while hold L1 and R1 while selecting Load Game. Enemies will do twice as much damage.

Unlock Maximum Mode:

Complete the game once then hold L2 and R2 while selecting Load Game. The Combination Gauge will be full at the start of ALL missions.

Unlockable characters

The following characters are unlocked but completing the corresponding tasks

Unlock Rangiku:

Beat Mission 11 and have over 400,000 points

Unlock Izuru:

Beat Mission 11 and have over 700,000 points

Unlock Renji:

Beat Mission 29 and have over 1,000,000 points

Unlock Toushiro:

Beat Mission 11 and have over 1,300,000 points

Unlock Gin:

Beat Mission 11 and have over 1,600,000 points

Unlock Byakuya:

Beat mission 29 and have over 1,900,000 points

Unlock Urahara:

Beat the game twice and have over 2,200,000 points

Unlock Yoruichi:

Beat the game twice and have over 2,500,000 points
