At the 'Title Screen' menu press L1 + R1 + L2 + R2 to enter the 'Secret Password' screen.
Unlock Monkey that's impersinating Spike from AE1: krops
Unlock Monkey that's impersinating Jimmy from AE2: 2nd man
Unlock Red Pipotron: redmon
Unlock Blue Pipotron: coolblue
Unlock Yellow Pipotron: yellowy
Unlock 'Dark master' monkey: blackout
Unlock SAL-1000 monkey: grobyc
Unlock SAL-3000 monkey: SAL3000
Unlock Hard Mode:
Finish Mesal Gear Solid once.
Unlock Croc cap and Infinite Items:
Rescue ALL 20 Hostages.
Secret password 'futarinosune-ku':
Collect ALL 30 Monkey Tags.

Unlock Mesaru Gear:
Costs 573 Credits once you have caught Specter.
Unlock Survival Mode:
Catch Specter a second time and also capture all the apes.
At the title screen, press L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 simultaneously; a password entry screen will appear. Note that someof the passwords have spaces and capital letters in them, and that some of the monkey's cannot be caught until after you beat the game.
Grobyc - Releases SAL-1000 into the "Saru-mon's Castle" stage. SAL-1000 can be found in the colosseum area, but you won't be able to reachthis area without the Super Monkey morph, which you recive after the game.
2nd man - Releases Shimmy into the "Winter-ville" stage. Shimmy can be found in a snowy field which cannot be reached without the Super Monkey morph.
