One of the best ways to beat the V2 is to use a plane with the XAGM ground missiles. On your approach to the Avalon Dam fly low in the canyon at top speed. Don't stop to attcak or you'll get shot down by SAM's. When you reach the dam go straight into the tunnel and use your XAGM's on the lock joints. As they can lock on to four targets at once you can take out all the lock joints in one pass then come out of the tunnel, do a U-turn or back flip, return into the tunnel and destroy the rest. When you have to fight Pixy, only attack him when he is facing you but most of the time if you face him he'll face you.
