To defeat the megamech, (final boss) Find a megacrate and bust it to find a laser rifle. Grab it then shoot the megamech repeatedly.

When he goes to the control tower or breaks up into baddies, get moving to the control tower and bust one of the towers QUICKLY!

If youre not quick enough, he'll recharge/carry you to some spot. The jetpack cheat works well here.

<BR>
So just fly up to the control towers and blast them all. Then make mincemeat out of that megamech.
