I am stuck in Tomb Raider Chronicles. When you are in that room with 2 birds at left and right. What do you do when you are there???

If it is the level where you have to shoot the bell first, then you go in the room and take the steps to the left.
Flick the lever then you go to the first bird stand in front of it and press action.
It will then open another door to the right then do the same as above.
