How to use C4 explosive?

I just recieved the C4, now I'm stuck on not knowing where to go. I don't where or how to use it. Can you please help me?

When you get the c4 go to the door as close as possible and press triangle then run back a little then when the door blows open run and protect the CBDC agent.
