We've completed the first level in Nasty's World and the orange dragon head won't open! I've flamed it ran into it and everything! Does anyone know any cheats to open it?

You need to 100% beat Gnorc Cove before you can enter Twilight Harbour. In other words...get every single gem and rescue both of the dragons. Just getting to the Home portal isn't enough.
I think you may also need to have collected all of the treasure in Gnorc Gnexus (the Home world) available to you (I think it's 75 treasure) prior to the opening of Twilight Harbour.
I did the same thing and the head won't open either!! I have every egg, gem, dragon up to this point. 94% completed.... Why won't the mouth open?!
I had the same problem. I went back to the cove and returned home on the pad instead of going to exit level through start and when I got to the home world it opened. Good luck
Once completing Gnorc Cove, make sure to exit the world via the “Return Home” portal!! Don’t just exit the level!!
