If you go to gamewinners.com you can find a huge list of recommended settings that will make your car handle better. Don't belive the submissions about what cards you will get for completing a challenge, though. They aren't what I got.

P.S. Anybody know how to unlock 4th From the Sun Speedway?

Well, lowering the tire pressure in the left front tire will help loosen the car up and give it better in and center grip, off the exits you will have to lower the right rear as well. Hope that helps you in any way possible.
