While putting it down you have been put it in your bed ,tool box or in your door(in your door in the bedroom if you have your house fully upgraded)
What date is it? If it is 10th of winter it is normal when your dog is lost coz Zack rudely takes it away from you when you joined the dog race. If not then whistle everywhere!!!!! Then if your dog didnt arf! Your dog is officially lost sawwy! The dog will only bark if you train him well
Since your question was asked 6 years ago, may I know what you did to resolve the missing dog issue? I'm in the same situation as you. The dog suddenly disappeared when I put it down after waking up.
Hi, this reply may be very late but I hope it helps other players in the future.
On the 10th Winter, your dog will be taken by Zack for the dog race if you agree to enter your dog. Your dog will disappear once you drop him down. After the dog race (doesn't matter if you win or lose), your dog will be back at your farm or your house on the next day (11th Winter). So don't worry, attend the dog race and sleep through the night.
