Question for Final Fantasy VIII

I need some help because I'm stuck.

You know Edea's House?? Well when you're there you see Galbadia garden. Then a little further in the game when you're going to attack Galbadia garden with Seifer, you're losing Rinoa (she hangs on a cliff)and then I'm going with zell to squall to say that ,then squall has to save some kids in the 2F classroom, I did that and then what??

There I'm stuck, you only can go to the quad ,en to 3F but i don't now what to do!!! is there something like a rope or so to find to help Rinoa??
please help me

Once everyone makes you go to save Rinoa, you go to the second floor; there a girl tells you that a boy is lost. Go left from there, then up the hallway towards the exit door.

You will see the boy sitting on the floor whining and kicking....talk to him; then you will be surprised by a flying guard who attacks you. It will give you a few options.

Pick look for another way, then hit emergency exit, and the fight begins. After you defeat him, you will have the flying thing and it will automatically go over and pick up Rinoa.
