Question for Final Fantasy VII

Hey, just a quick question.I have a blue and a green chocobo and I need to mate them to get a black one right? But theres just a small problem, chocobo billy keeps saying "You should'nt mate those that just mated or those that were just born".How do I get around this little problem. I sure it's pretty simple, I just cnt get my head around it right now.Help me out as soon as possible please.Thanks.

Because there just babys. What you need to do is give them lots of greens, then take them to races so that they get rank upgrades,so give them both greens. Then ride them depending there color like the green one riding the mountains and the blue one in the shore water. Also take them to races and make sure you leave them in Rank A.And give them a carob nut-I think.Oh make sure one is male and the other female.

NOTE-I can't remember but if there both brother and sister then I think you can't breed them. But try it just in case.

The chocobos are still to young.. Just run around for a couple hours. The battle arena is a nice place to stay for a while seeming you should get clouds omnislash if you don't allready have it. Also feeding greens isn't going to help it get older. The greens are just to give you chocobos better stats. Its better to give your chocobos greens because it will make them better racers and there offspring will be alot better to.

note-you can mate any chocobo as long as there old enough, haven't just mated, or are the same sex.

Aye, that's easy. Just go wandering about for a while. Fight some battles, complete a side quest or whatever. Then, return and they should be ready to mate again.
