Question for Final Fantasy VII

This might sound a bit of a stupid question seeing that I have completed final fantasy 7 a number of times but in the game why do they call jenova a calamity that fell from the sky? Because I can't think of anything it has done wrong except having it's cells put into the SOLDIER,s

I don't know exactly why but it may mean that well. You know that hole at the northern cave[the cave were you get Neo bahamut] they say a meteor fell and made a hole there,so maybe Jenova rided the meteor as a vessel and made that hole thats what I know, come to think of it I really never did thought about this maybe Nintendo Dude or another person will give you more informacion. But maybe this is the reason that sephiroth says that he wants to have this planet as his vessel and ride the black skies, get rid of the cosmos-something like that-dont know exactly what it means but Ive got the tinyst clue.

Yeah I no it created sephiroph but it also reated cloud so it's not completely bad but why is jenova reffered to being bad or the calamity that fell from the sky because it don't do nothing bad it's shinra that does the bad things with jenova

It fell from the skies and created the Crater and the Northern Cave in doing so. Also, it was the main thing that caused the extinction of the Ancients, or the Cetra. A small number of surviving Cetra managed to defeat Jenova, but did kill it. Also, Jenova created Sephiroth. If you want to learn more about this whole story about Jenova go to Ifalna's house in Icicle Inn which explains a lot about it (and a lot about Aeris and the Ancients too). If you want to know about the REAL birth of Sephiroth then be sure to visit the cave behind the waterfall in the Nibel area with Vincent in your party. Throughout the game you should know of the creation of soldiers and monsters using Jenova's cells.
