Final Fantasy VII Questions

Hi, I'm a first timer so yeah I have 5 questions.

<BR>5. Do you know how you guys say pheonix and final attack or something like that - is pheonix the summon or just another materia.

1.Equip one character with K.O.T.R. and equip eveyone with mime. Use K.O.T.R. right away and keep miming it. 12 K.O.T.R. should kill Emarald Weapon.
2.Defeat Ruby Weapon and trade the Desert Rose for a Gold Chocobo witht he Kalm traveller, but I think this way is harder.
3.You need to have a Gold Chocobo. Go to the lone island North-East of Goblin island.
4.It is in the Temple of the Ancients.
5.Phoenix is a summon materia. After getting the HUGE materia from Fort Condor visit the baby condor outside and it will drop Phoenix materia and fly away.

3.Get a gold chocobo the head north-east on the world map until you come to an unmapped area.
4.It can be found in the temple of ancients but I think you can buy it somewhere.

5.Pheonix is the summon materia and you get it once you have bought omnislash and w-summon at the battle arena.

After you have bought the two attempt to enter for another battle and you have to do a special battle and when you win you get final attack.

Put the two in a linked materia slot.

Heres your answers!!!!!!!

1. It is possible to create a chain of powerful attacks using the mime materia without using KOTR. For example, you could try Clouds Omnislash and use his mime.

This, however, does have its disadvantages, as the other two team members will be stuck doing nothing for the length of the chain, and so is not really worth it. The easiest tactic is to not be lazy, and go and get 3 Mimes and KOTR!

2. If you defeat ruby weapon (who appears in the desert after ultima weapon is defeated) you will recieve the desert rose, which can be traded in at Kalm for a gold chocobo. But again, this is extremely difficult without KOTR. Just breed a gold chocobo!

3. You must breed a gold chocobo and head to the northeasternmost corner of the map, where you will find a circular mountain island thingy. Here, there is a cave. This is only accsessible by gold chocobo as the highwind cannot land in forests and the gold chocobo is the only one that can walk across water.

4. You get the morph materia in the temple of the ancients, where the party is looking down into a spirit stream circle thingy. (In the room where the boulders are rolling down a hill and you have to dodge them).

After the party sees Sephiroth, they automatically move away from the thing. Just go back to it, and the morph materia is there. By the way, if youve already passed this part of the game, you may need to start again - sorry!

5. Pheonix is a summon materia, which can be paired with Final attack so that when the equipped character dies, he automatically casts pheonix and revives the entire party. This, of course, is only 100% effective when the final attack materia has been mastered.

I can only answer 1 and 2 and 3.

2) Its easy to breed a gold first go to the chocobo tracks near mideel Catch 6 of them.
Get all the "good" rating ones to s class by racing them and giving them syilks greens. Then go bone village ( out side) and get a dinosaur creature to come up. Then steal a carob nut. (reapeat 3 times) then breed a male and female "good" chocobo with a carob nut. (save before this in front of the farm) you should get a green or blue chocobo if not reset and try agian.

Train the colored chocobo to s class and breed the mal and female "good" chocobos agian. You should get a the opposite color if not reset and try agian. Raise this one to s class. Then breed the blue and green chocobo to get a black (oh and the blue and green have to be a diffrent gender.) raise the black to s class. Then catch a speacial chocobo from the north contanet south of icicle inn and the village. Then breed the black and the speacial chocobos useing a zieo nut (obtanninded in gobblin isle. Steal from the gobblins.) you should have a gold if not reset and try agian.
