How do you get easy GP in Golden Saucer?

As far as Im aware hes just a random extra. I went in there 100s of times for the chocobo racing for the breeding AND for the battle Arena! I only saw him once!

Once youre able to start breeding chocobos and stuff like that you will find yourself in the Golden Saucer more. I didnt really do much there till disk 2. Once you start racing your chocobos and fighting in the Battle Arena your GP will soar. I would find that way easier than waiting for Mr Random to appear.

The GP guy doesn't appear much on disk 1, unfortunately. But on disk 2 and 3, he appears more often. What keeps on happening to me is that when I bother to try and make him appear, he doesn't. But when I completely leave the Gold Saucer and re-enter an hour later, he just suddenly appears. Scary :-(

when i got to disk 3 the random guy stared to come out evry 4th time

I'm there aswell and the only thing I have been able to do to get GP is to do the chocobo race, because the man outside the goldsaucer is never there, I'm on disc 1 right before the temple of the ancients so not much luck and im fighting for Omnislash right now, good luck my friend.

The guy will only appear on disc 1 after getting highwind. Easy way 4 gp is to use a turbo controller on the mega sumo game vs the wrestler

The guy will appear randomly on disc 2 onwards after the gold saucer reopens.

Best ways to get GP?

Well battle square doesnt give GP, that uses it. So thats not the way.

There is a very easy 30GP by playing the mog game but thats a one off.
On disc1 the best way is by betting on chocobos. Class B, don't do Class C.
Class B offers turbo ethers, elixirs and megalixir's as prixes, all 3 give decent GP if won, always bet on 3 chocobos at once and favour the one's with higher speed ratings. So eg. If pick chocobo 1 3 and 6 bet on the following combos
1,3 3,6 and 1,6

A gold ticket costs 300GP or 30000gil, as a rule of thumb based on law of averages, you should easily manage to get 300gp within using 30000gil on better so buy the cheap 3000gil ticket, save rest of your cash for betting. Even small wins add up, choose GP every time instead of item. On disc1 500-600gp should easily be enough to buy the golden ticket and do a fair few batled on the battle square.

After the gold saucer reopens you can breed chocobos and race yourself with own chocobos, this is far superior to betting as it doesnt cost money to enter and you should be able to win every time, at least on the lower classes, also class A opens up for betting, and a class S can be raced if chocobo good enough, the higher classes have more of the high value prizes, some are worth 500GP for a single win.

Racing with good or better chocobos trained up properly should be a doddle winning A,B,C class races, only when theo enters you might lose, however you may need black or gold chocobos to easily win the S class.

Certian items when racing own chocobos I reccomend collecting.
Collect hero drinks
Don't collect ether's, they give 30gp and can be brought for 20gp in wonder square if want them, although even better to farm for them from monsters.
The 500gp items are usually unique to the golden saucer meaning you will want to collect at least one of each like the cats bell.
