Hi, I have a question from the old final fanasy vII I have the walkthrough book and it's very good but for some reason Im missing a step or something, and it's getting slightly old... Ok I'm at the point of Shinras Hq on the 68th floor right after you meet up with Red XIII and you have to send one of the characters with aeris I sent Barret so my team as of now is Tifa Red XIII and Cloud so my next step here is the boss fight with HO512 but the boss isnt here? Ive looked everywere Hes not were the book says? So my question is what step am I missing? Where is this boss? Did I make the mistake of not sending the right character with Aeris? If there is anyone out there with the answer please let me know...

It doesn't matter what character you send with Aeris the boss should come up in the elevater where Aeris and Red XIII were being held. If it doesn't appear then it ust be a glitch so there's nothing you can really do except reload the game and try again. Normally after you finish talking to Red XIII and choose his name the boss battle with HO512 starts.
