I can't get past the part wherein Celes acts as Maria and then follow the knight's footsteps. I don't know how to move diagonally. Please help...

*sigh* You only need to talk to 'Draco' to get him to perform another dance move. Keep on 'talking' to him until he disappears into a bouquet of flowers. Take the flowers up to the ledge, where the opera will complete.
