Question for Final Fantasy IV

Hey guys does anyone know how to kill the dark knight when you become a paldin. I don't understand what it means when it says a good paldin would sheath his sword. Help as soon as posible.

What I do is get some money and buy about 50 high potions from the shop in mysidia. Then, when you are fighting the dark knight, use a high potion whenever your hp gets bellow 400. When he says those things in the battle I don't think they mean anything.

Your not actually supposed to "sheath your sword" and not fight, so don't get all bent out of shape over that. Pretty much all that you've got to do is attack, attack, attack. And when your HP is low, use on item or your new magic to recover it.

Both answers above are elongated and difficult ways to defeat this boss. When he says "Sheathe your sword" he means you should parry. Do it three times (he shouldn't kill you) and the Dark Knight retreats.
