Question for Digimon World

If when I answer no to the first question of the game and still receive no digivice should I be concerned that my disc is ruined?

No. Answering "NO" to the digivice question at beginning of the game, just means it will be easier to get ultimate digimon. Answering "YES" measn that the player has to be more precise with conditions and more strict on their digimon in order to make them digivolve to ultimate.

Experience mainly. Every time I've chosen either over the countless times I've played this game; I've done enough experimentation between different Champion and Ultimate Digimon digivolutions to least say that's how I've perceived it. But it is also mentioned in the official strategy guide and on many other forums as well from other players' experiences. So there are a lot of players who can vouch the same thing.
