How come my game keeps freezing when I go into the drill tunnel and the grand canyon?

Maybe because your disc is scratched too much, try cleaning it.
It might also be cracked.
If it keeps freezing after cleaning.
Then I suggest buying a new game.
My game freezes when I go to Gear Savanna but Iam lucky I have 2 discs so try cleaning your disc or buy a new one because it won't work believe me.I tried to clean my disc for a very long time.
Vintage Stock does disc repairs for pretty cheap. Playstation 1 discs are pretty thick and durable and can usually be fixed if they are not scratched too deeply. If a vintage stock is not in your area just google for places that do disc repairs.
