I got confused on that too. I thought the point was to kill all the spiders. If you run around the outside of the circus ring, you will see something that looks like a matchbox with an empty reeses cup in it. On the other side of that there is an icecube tray. In between the two, there is something that looks like a rusty umbrella handle. Just climb up that handle like a plank and there will be a red exclamation mark at the top. Just go up to that exclamation mark and you will get a free bonus clip. You might have to try it a couple of times because the umbrella is really thin and hard to climb up.
