I loved PE, which I was addicted to when I first purchased it.



While some parts were hard the full motion payoffs, and taking part in the progress

of an action film (albeit cheesy) was what made it worth while.



PE2 was cool to start, and then became ridiculous. Killing hard bosses doesn't bother me, killing any creature doesn't phase me. Getting reamed becuase I missed something that there was absolutely no indication of, and being made to run back and forth, to increase advertised play time no doubt, irks the heck out of me.



The comabat system on PE2 is excellent, and inventory control easy to deal with, now

if maybe the guys at Square soft could come up with a game flow that doesn't leave you not caring if the world is overrun by spores of neomitochondria, I would be happy.



If there is a PE 3 in the works, undoubtedly for PS2, I hope they KNOW PE 2 had a much lower long term playability.

Actually I didn't find the game all that boring and the controls were a heck of a lot easier than the first one.



If the guys at Squarsoft make another PE

than bring it on I'll be waiting for it first in line!
