Parasite Eve 2 Cheats and Tips

You think Gunblade (FFVIIII Weapon type) is weak, aren't U?

Well, if you think so, Gunblade is a Weapon which First Attack is a short ranged attack that is not powerfull one and Secondary Attack is a standart shotgun's ranged attack. You can have this weapon with high bounty point, too... -_-", after defeating the game once.

But, Gunblade has a hidden power that can do ultimate attack power which more powerfull than "Inferno Lv.3", you can do it with a some simple little trick.

When you have to attack with gunblade meelee attack, press R1, then quickly press R2 button which used to attack with long ranged attack. BANG!!! You will surprised, the gunblade will have an explosion damage that can do about 1200 to 2000 Damage!!!

You can improve the Gunblade's with change the ammo with a powerfull one. Alright, this is the ultimate Weapon of Parasite Eve 2!!!

It's simple really, if youplay through the game in replay mode, you can earn more EXP which adds onto what you already have from previous attampts. You'll get a rank at the end of the game.

If you get an 'A' rank, you'll be able to buy the Hypervelocity gun in Replay Mode for 20,000 BP, you'll have this much by the time you get an 'A' Rank. Next, to get the GunBlade(Squall's from FF8) you need one of these two ranks

'S' Rank

Play through the game until you get an 'S' Rank and you'll be able to buy it at the start of the game from Jodie.

'L' Rank

Play through Normal Mode and run from every fight that you can, you'll have just enough BP and EXP to make it through the game, then play replay mode once.

When you start again with enough BP, buy the Medicine Wheel from Jodie. Save it until the No. 9 fight in Dryfield, equip it here, after the battle No. 9 will drop a Katana ? ? ?, examine this in the item screen to get the GunBlade.

The HyperVelocity uses Battery and the GunBlade uses shotgun shells.

In one of my earlier tips I said that if you kill the big boss in Dryfield Flint's life would be spared, then Mr Douglas would give you a gun. You actually have to make it to his trailer and if that isn't enough the Driveway is blocked meaning you have to take the long way round. The gun you get is the MP909, this beauty has a 100 round capacity! Meaning it eats through ammo very quickly but its powerful.

Also if you managed to do this, in the shelter when you have gone in the reservoir area you might have seen a gate that was locked. There is a control panel in the room on the other side near the exit door. The code for the panel is 15 and this unlocks the gate.

Through the is Flint (Kyle goes the other way if he's with you) and if you follow him you end up in Dryfield. You need to save Pierce from the Water Tower and he gives you the SUV key, this unlocks the boot of his car.

The boot contains a Lipstick(prevents silence when attached) and a Tactical Armour(7 attachment slots, +50HP and +20 or +10MP). If you then go and see Mr Douglas he'll sell you loads of cool weapons, ammunition, armour and items, like the MP5A5(the same as the one in the first level), the AS12(an automatic shotgun with a 20 shell capacity)the flamethrower attachment for the rifle and other guns.

He'll also sell you firefly rounds and Hydra rounds. I'm not sure what cool armour or items he'll sell you. Even More Happy Hunting!!

On the first level when you fight no.9 you do not have to hit the high volteg wire. Just use the gurnade pistol and the sub-machine gun.

It is possible to beat the flamethrower boss without the grenade pistol.

(You'll need to resort to this on Scavenger Mode, unless you want to use riots) Save ALL your 9mm hydras.

Get Necrosis level 2.(at least) Attach some heal items and only use your PE for Necrosis. Start by casting Necrosis then just keep shooting him. When the Necrosis wears off,(He isn't purple anymore) cast it again.

Repeat Repeat Repeat...You may want some MP Boosts in your attachments too. Be sure to have more than just hydras in case you run out of ammo.

(I had 300 and ran out of ammo) Also keep in mind that the necrosis will wear off when his face first turns bloody...no matter how long its been on.(Even one turn...)

Okies.. Took me ages but i have finaly beaten these creeps.. so heres the easiest way ton do it.. try it a few times and know the tactic off by heart and exactly HOW to do it and trust me you will succeed!

The amount of BP, MP and EXP you get depends on how much parts you destroy.. If you follow my guide and destroy the 2 Arm Gas Shooters, 2 Arms, Belly and Core you will receive the amounts listed above..

The armor I had equipted was the 'PsySuit'.. It has 50+MP, perfect for keeping out of death states as you have more healing MP to use.. And you won't use as many MP-UPs (i didn't use any).

Ok.. This fight seams like an Everlasting fight if you don't know what to do.! And it can be a pain in the buttox ( )

Now before you enter the fight make sure you have FULL AMUNITION on both weapons!! There are battles in the lower areas where you can get BP to buy amunition.!

Equipt the Greande launcher.. Also, make sure that they are BOTH loaded before going into battle.. There is no reasen to put bullets in your armor attachments so simply in your attachments have the 'Rifle' or 'Shotgun', and then fill the rest with MP RECOVERIES.. No HP RECOVERIES they are useless!

Also make sure you ahve more MP RECOVERIES in your backPack ready for the boss straight after!!

When In Battle use RECOVERY LV.3 Parasite Energy to recover you!!

Now enter the battle.. You will see some clips before the battle.. To enter it after the firstset of clips go through the elevator and quickly go through the door next to you as an invisible monster is in the room!

When in the battle you will start in front of the monster! Aim for his Left arm and shoot the first grenade bullet.. Then run right and he will use a laser.. Carry on running and it will miss you! Shoot 3 or 4 more bullets at the arm (avoiding the belly's attacks and the lasers) and it will destroy the arm gas shooter.. Now press 'start' and change to your Rifle/Shotgun.. (use 'Eneryshot' and it will increase the penetration and power of your bullets..) Now destroy the oposite Arm gas Shooter using the Rifle/Shotgun (will take longer.. but again stay on the run and avoid the Lasers and the belly attacks.. Also he will use a gas attack out of his remaining arm gas shooter.. when he does that run because a laser will follow shortly.. and don't run into the gas)

Once done so destroy the belly.. but now he will use the laser more so what you do is:: run down to the belly.. Shoot twice and run.. then go back into range of it and shoot twice and run again untill it is defeaten..

Nearly there.. Now (still using the rifle/shotgun) shoot his Left arm again loads of times and eventualy it will get to the stage where your bullets take 0 Health! Damn.. or is it Damn? No because that a good thing Now do exactly the same to the oposite arm (he will still use lasers so use the same technique as with the belly) untill you take 0 health..

Also he can use an attack wher his arm swipes you.. he use..

Gunblade Weapon

If you can finish the game with a rank of S you will be able to select and use the Gunblade weapon from FF8 in replay mode.

To raise the bridge at the Akropolis tower, go to the controll room and press look at the message bored. There will be a section of a musical scroll.

The clef is numbered 1-10. The first section is there to use an example of 1-2-3. The second clef on my game was 5-6-1. (though it may vary)

Go to the bridge and enter the 3 digit code into the bridge and presto!

The bridge will raise. (along with three help-less little fishy monsters for your BP collecting pleasure!)
