Enter the following codes to unlock the corresponding effect in the game.

Unlock Special Weapons:
Enter X, Square, Triangle, Circle, Square, Circle, X, Triangle, X.

Unlock Black NanoTek Ship:
Enter X, Square, X, Square, Square, Circle, X, Triangle, X (The ship will have 4 Lives and ALL Weapons on Level 1).

Unlock Full Shield:
During gameplay pause the game and press Select, Circle, Right, Up(2), L1(2), X. If the code has been entered correctly you will hear the power-up sound as confirmation.

Unlock Warp Speed:
During gameplay press Circle, Square, Circle, Square, Triangle(3), X. If the code has been entered correctly you will hear the power-up sound as confirmation.

Enable Memory Card:
Before starting the game insert a Memory card and then pause gameplay and press Left, Right, Left(2), R2, Circle, L1, X. If the code has been entered correctly you will hear the power-up sound as confirmation. Quit the game after completing level 2 or higher and an alternate password screen with 5 'Save Game' slots will appear.
