In case you don't know in the research lab you have an encounter every few steps and the no encounter ability does not work here so to avoid battle and save you're health for bahamut only walk when the core isnt glowing.hope this helped smell you later :-p

If you are lik me and like the card game then you must hate the random rule and you will probably use it alot on this side quest so if you always want you're strong cards before you do this side quest use you're card mod ability to get rid of all you're weaker cards wich means even wen it's random you will only have strong cards

Some people may say if you want lvl ups go to heaven or hell island well this is easier and you can do it sooner on disc 2 wen you are infiltrating the garden to get the sorceress there is a hockey arena fight there you get 6 ap each playerand you usually fight three and I lvl up real easy cause all you have to do is use a gf and there dead but to warn you if you get high lvled like to lvl 70 and then leave it screws you up for the rest of the game so get to lvl 100 on all of you're people before you leave

Alright, starting in Disk Two I believe, you can battle certain Triple Triad players who are a cut above the rest. Each one of these players has rare cards for you to take if you win, and will be a lot harder to defeat them. The players are the Club, the Jack, the Spade, and the Diamond Duo. If defeat all of them, then you can fight the card genius, Heart. If you do manage to defeat Heart, then you will be to fight the Card king, and it is definitely not someone that you would expect.

You must fight The Jack. The Jack is in the lobby area of the Balamb Garden. He will be wearing a blue uniform, and will be walking up from the south entrance. Leave the elevator, and head down the stairs till you reach the exit like you are going outside. This is from where the Jack will emerge.


After you defeat him, you will have to fight the Club. You can find the Club in the hall where you are about enter your dorm room, or the Cafeteria. He will be wearing a Black Seed Uniform. When you talk to him, he will just say, "...." Battle him.


After you beat the Club, you will have to fight the Diamond duo. Go back out into the lobby area, and stand near the sign in the middle of the room that shows you where every important area is located. Soon enough, you should see two girls up and stand in front of the sign. They will both talk after each other, beat them.

Next, there is the the Spade. Go into the elevator and head to the Second floor. When you emerge from the elevator, you should see two people squatting down beside each other. Talk to the one on the right. He will usually say that you are confident about something.

After him, comes the Heart. A true Genius she is. I do not want to reveal her identity, but her name is only Two letters, and it starts with an X. She will be wearing a SeeD uniform.

If you manage to beat her, then you will have to face the CC king, or rather, queen. Head to your dormitory, and save the game. Tell everyone to leave your room, and then soon the Queen should come and challenge you. Prepare ot say wow at who it is.

Here is how you can get the Shiva card for the mini game, Triple Triad. Note that you can only get this on Disc 3.

In order to get the Shiva Card, you first need to find a magazine called, "Girl next door." Or something similar to that. Anyway, you can find the magazine in a stack of magazines in the timber maniacs building. Go into Timber, and go into the building that says Timber Maniacs on the top of it. Right when you enter, you should see several stacks of magazines. Click on on all of the piles from different angles until you find the correct magazine. Now, all you have to do is play the game until Eda tells you to find the White SeeD ship. You can find the ship somehwere on the continent that looks like some bit into it. Go on the ship, and you should be able to talk to Zone before he leaves into another area of the ship.


Follow him and talk to him twice. He will ask for the magazine, and you need select the option to give him the magazine for free. After you give it to him for free, he will give you a re-name card for one of your GF's, as well as the Shiva card. It is a useful addition to your deck.

In some instances of the game, you can actually talk to people, and will say things that they normally do not say. You can do this trick, with say...Quistis, or someone else. All you have to do is press the Square button on them like you wanted challenge them to a card duel. Try it with as many people as you like, they will different things. You can also learn a lot more this way.

Alright, as most of you all know, you will receive the Magical Lamp from Headmaster Cid when Squall, Selphie, and Zell are on their way towards Timber. Now, Cid warns you that only someone powerful should use it, and I, recently learning of the power contained within, am inclined to agree. For you see, inside the Magical Lamp lies a powerful creature that goes by the name of Diablos. You can battle him whenever you want, but you will have a very, very, very hard time fighting him if each character is not above level 20. So I would recommend fighting him on Disk 2, after all of your characters will be a lot stronger. When you fight him make sure that you use draw on him because you can learn the spell Demi. He will be on level 9. Yes, he is a Guardian Force.


Make sure that you save your game before you attempt to battle him.

Alright, I figured that since I just got done beating this, and it was fresh in my memory, I should go ahead and submit it so that others can solve the puzzle.

Before you even attempt to get the Guardian Force inside, I recommend that the characters that you are going to use to battle him are at least level20, or above. The Guardian Force(s) here are really strong. You will quickly die if you are not above level 20 in the battle. Also, I suggest that you make sure that you have already completed the events there, by finding the student's ID number and reporting to Caraway, before you attempt to get the brothers Guardian Force.

It would also be good that you have the map for the cave, you can buy a map from the guy who gives you your task, and even a marker so that you will know where you are. The map costs 5,000 gil, while the marker costs 3,000 gil.

Okay, if you have done all of that, then you re ready to get the Guardian Force. Enter the cave, and then pull up the map. You should see a room on the east side of the map, it will be obvious so there is no confusion. Go in there, and fight the giant statue. After you beat it, pull the map, and again, you should see another room that stands out from the rest. This time on the west side of the cave. Make your way to that room, and when you are inside it, you should see a wheel, and some water. On the wall to your left, there will be an odd mechanism. Press it and then when you are done, look on the map again.

You should see a room that stands out from the rest on the North side of the cave. Head there, and once you are there, you should see a strange bridge with a chain across it. Now, if you look directly to the right of that, you will see a hidden switch. Press X along the wall until you press it. After you do, leave the cave by going through the entrance.

Now, head back into the cave, and keep going forward until you are on the center of the map, in the area that is surrounded by water. You should now see a small bridge letting you cross the water into the room. Go there, and you will see the statue again. This time he will call his brother. You will have to battle both of them. Win, and you will get the new Guardian Force called Brothers.

The Earliest time that you can get this rare magic is in Disk 2. It is in the Missile Base that you have to get inside using Selphie's team to stop them from launching missiles at Balamb Garden. Note that in order to actually get past the front gate, you will have to enter the facility with a car. After you leave the car, head west and you should see a door.

Once you enter the door you should be in a room with two doors, and a save point. The doors will be locked, so you need to press the X button between the two doors. When you do that, you should see a small scene where the character's talk, and you receive an ID card. Go through one of the doors, and you will have to go past a guard. Choose the option to walk along slowly. After you walk past him, head into the next room.

You should now be in a hall with two guards. One guard is blocking some stairs and says this area is off limit, the other says that the missile launchers are in the next room when you talk to him. Go inside the room with the missile launchers, and press the X button on the big missile that has the number .03 cover on it. If you are in the right area, you will see that you have found a draw point containing the magic Full-Life. This will be very useful later on in the game, and even now.

If you cannot find it immediately, then click on different parts of the rocket until you see it.

Ok first off this can only be done once in FH when you doing that festival thingy ok fist off if you pick the guitar,violin,flute,and the tap then when rinoa goes to talk to you squall will act more nice and he says that he'll try and let every body know how he feels but if you pick the sax,electric guitar piano,and the bass guitar then squall will act selfish and mean.if you've never given it a try then do so it's funny.

Ok first cast the spell zombie on a monster that isnt undead then simply use a very powerful healing spell or item such as phoenix down or the ability recover and revive once you cast or use that then the monster will be dead almost instantly,but this trick probly wont work on bosses

Ok, first off before you go and do anything be sure that your ready to fight him his weak elements are earth and water so use those when the chance comes.

Now for the box trick for the first step close the box to the far right and then close the box to the far left then close the box next to the one thats furthest right, then open the box next to that one and there you have it all the boxs are open if they arn't then try again !

First, you have to equip a GF that has ST/Attack ability then in the attack part you put in 100 Deaths (you can get them from draw it from a monster.

I forgot what monster I draw it from put it's possible) so now when you attack you kill the monster with 1 hit.

It dosn't work on some monster but I know it works on T-Rex's so you can train on them.

Thats how I got all my characters up to 100.

OK, this is for people that want to learn a level experience a battle, leveling up to 100 quickly, but there are a few things that are highly recommended to assist you. Here is a checklist...

_ GF Doomtrain (If you do not have Doomtrain yet, then Quistis with Degenerator and a lot of Aura spells.)
_ Squall's Lionheart Weapon
_ Selphie's Strange Vision Weapon
_ GF Cerberus with Auto-Haste
_ GF's Pandemona & Tonberry both with Iniative
_ 100 Firaga, 100 Thundaga, 100 Death, 100 Confuse and 100 Sleep spells on Squall
_ 100 Firaga, 100 Thundaga and 100 Sleep spells on Selphie and you other character

Now build Squall with 100 Firaga and 100 Thundaga elemental defense. 100 Death status attack and 100 Confuse and 100 Sleep status defense. Give Squall both Auto-Haste and Initiative.
Build your other two characters with 100 Firaga and 100 Thundaga elemental defense. 100 Sleep status attack. Give Selphie the second inititive and GF Doomtrain.

Now knowing the island.

You will encounter one of 6 monsters. They are Grendels, Blue Dragons, T-Rexaurs, Hexadragons, Malboros (rare) and Ruby Dragons (rare).

Now to combat them...
Grendels are most common for me. They only have one real special attack which is lightning based, so you will be defended against it. Just use regular attacks. They are easily affected by you two teammates sleep spell and you have a 50/50 chance of killing them with you death attack.

Blue Dragons are the same, they are affected greatly by the sleep and death attacks.

T-Rexuar is taken out with the lowest resistance to you death. I have never had a T-Rexuar get a hit on me with death. He always goes down with Squall's first attack.

Hexadragon is another story, they are not affected by your sleep or death. Cast Doomtrain to hit them with meltdown, unless you want to waste a spell on them. But Doomtrain will heal them, but after the meltdown it's nothing that cannot be erased with two regular attacks. All of Hexadragons magic attacks, except "Breath" are fire based so they will pose no threat and even breath is not that devastating if you have high Vitality. Ruby Dragons are affected by your sleep, but not death. Make sure to have high vitality (at least 100+) to go up against it's "Fire Breath". Use Doomtrain to put them to sleep and melt them down. Then my recommendation is to follow it up with your quickest and strongest GF's, such as Shiva, Quezacotl...GF's that do not have an insanly long FMV sequence (ie Eden) and do not use Ifrit on him.

Malboro...these things are a pain...my recommendation do not fight them, if you need to for weapons upgrading...use mug and get the hell out of there. Malboro will start off almost every time with "Bad Breath" It will cast Berserk, Confuse, Sleep, Silence, Poison and Death on you. This is why you have 100 Confuse and Sleep junctioned to defense, you will be able to stay awake to escape and you will not run the risk attacking your teammates if the escape does not take right away, remember you do have haste on Squall...

That's it, majority of these will give a level up a battle and if you have 3000 HP, then most everything except the Ruby Dragon and Malboro are no danger. And after every encounter, SAVE, because you never know when that Ruby Dragon or Malboro will get the drop on you and wipe you out...

You can win bahamut in disk 4. it is possible.
How????
First don't get to the deep sea research center during disc 3. It will be a "waste"
Aftre the time compression head to ultimecias castle.
Fight the first boss, spinhaxaur,
Then unlock the draw ability first before unlocking other ability.
Then find tiamat.
Then draw eden from him then run away.
Then go to cactuar island to have him learn the ability "boost" the ability "boost is quite short though and it requires a short amount of time.
Then head down to the deep sea research center.
Go in to the place. You will see a core pumping.
Move it when it is not moving if not you will waste a lot of time battleing unwanted monsters.
Then talk to the core.
The first answer is:we do not will to fight.
After winning the first time ruby dragon, you will be forced to fight the second time this time he ask again
Begging me for mercy
Then answer: never
After you are done with ruby dragon, that bahamut will ask the question again
Damned imbeciles why do you wish to fight
Then choose the hidden one
You will be taken into the core to fight bahamut.
If you have doomtrain, don't be afarid to summon it or junction blind to your status attack and he will go blind .
Then pummel him with eden(boosted). This should make the damage go about 10000 or so. keep doing this and eventually he(bahamut) will be defeated.
Good luck and have fun and keep doing this and eventuallly he will be defeated.
And as for ruby dragon, cast doomtrain. This should leave him paralyzed or sleep. thats all.

This requires a turbo feature on your controller and the GF must learn boost. Set the boost on square and when the GF is summoned hold select and hold down square ( not when there is an X over it ). The number on the bottom should easily go over 200. The max is 255.

This requires the card mod from Questcoltal ( after getting card )

After the Dollet mission and you can go in the training center with Quistis, card mod a Gayal to get a mystery fluid and that will give Quistis Degenorator. Kill her and use a pheniox down so she will use her limit break. Battle a T-Rexaur and use Degenorator. This will instantally kill it and you will get a lot of Exp.

Well for those who wanna who squalls father and mother is, look here.

The answer lies in ragnarok where laguna was briefing the final misson on assaulting the lunatic pandora

When the mission is finished talk to kiros.

He will tell you by saying this:
You look like your mother(raine)if I am not wrong
Talk to ward after you have done talking with kiros and he will say

........

And kiros will interrupt by saying: at least you don't look like your father.

Altough most people think that island closest to hell is a place for seeking death. but it is possible to defeat them.
How?
Junction pain on their status attack. This will blind grendels and T-rexaurs.
Then pummel those monster with diablos,eden. And they wont be a threat and you can take your time to draw magicsor to fight them.
And you will get tons of exp!
But I can't gurantee that it will work on ruby dragon.

I wonder whether can I call this a cheat or something like that.the second time when you visit esthar,talk to laguna and he will tell you the past that he did and how he became the president of esthar.

Halfway through the story,you will see soceress adel,(you will fight her later) getting sealed by laguna and how he tricked her (adel) into coming inside the place where rinoa was frozen and tricked adel by freezing her and and sent her to the moon.

PS:you can do this only ONCE!

First off - a correction. You can only get an adamantine the SECOND TIME you face the 'Iron Clad' (it's name is far too awkward to remember). Sorry.

This time I will be focussing on junctions, and ways to get them.
To begin with, Ultima is occasionally NOT the best magic for a particular stat. The best example is that the best magic to junction to 'hit' is triple, not ultima, and by FAR. 100 triples add 150% accuracy to the equipped character - normally enough to raise accuracy to the ceiling 255%, and pretty much gaurantee a hit every time. (Very helpful under blind or against cactaurs.)

And, Meltdown comes very highly recommended for vitality; given that it's easier to obtain than Ultima, use it in it's stead.
The second point is how to obtain regular junction scrolls (i.e. Str-J, vit-J, HP-J, spr-J, mag-J) - you get Tonberry's Familiar ability, and you can then buy them from Timber Pet Shop - and a few of the 'rarer' ones.
Spd-J is the easiest to get, and very helpful too. You'll need Eden's ability to refine items into gf-teaching items, and Doomtrain's ability to refine things like str-up. Then, keep facing plenty of cactaurs. When you have 100 cactuar needles, refine them (using Eden) into 1 'hundred needles' (teaches Return Damage). Then further refine into 1 spd-up - raises speed by 1 point. Do this twice, and you can then refine the two spd-ups into a spd-J scroll.

The Aegis Amulet is much tougher to get a hold of, but allows junctioning to Evade (and so works in part with spd-J). Get 50 barriers, and you can then refine them into 1 Aegis Amulet. (You tend to get barriers from Iron Giants and Behemoths most - but at around 2 a time, if you're lucky!) You'll need Eden again, though.

Luck-J scrolls can be hard to get too. Get a level 100 siren, 100 curse spikes (Best bet is to mug from Tri-Faces) and then use tool refine to create 1 Dark Matter. This is a very useful item for several things. It can be refined into Shaman Stones (Which increase compatability for Bahamut by 3 each) using a further Tool refine, then further refined into a Rosetta Stone - which teaches a GF the Abilityx4 ability. Or, it can be given to Quistis to teach Shockwave Pulsar - which can break the limit of 9999 for damage. Lastly, to get the luck-J scroll, it can be refined into 1 luck-up, which should be refinable into 1 luck-J scroll. Given you have Eden again...

I'm afraid I don't know of any item with which you can teach hit-J, though.

Oh, and thirdly, triple is easiest made by refining dragon fins into Doubles, then using Alexander's High Magic Refine to turn the 20 doubles from each fin into 2 triples. If that takes too long for your liking, draw as many as possible from Odin or Cerberus.

And fourthly, a hint I read here before, but has since gone missing... To absorb 90% of every element, equip 100 ultimas, 100 shells, 100 lifes and 100 full-lifes to elemental defence (If you have less than 4 slots, then Ultima takes proirity, followed by full-life and then life). This is very helpful for me as a substitute for healing magic in a fix...

You MUST have ragnarok to do this.

Go to the hills of esthar,(which is the great plains) fight ruby dragon and cockatrice and you will get about 800 exp.if odin appears,you will get additional 400exp (I think)and I trained there untill my squall lv68, zell lv58,and irvine lv39(i think).

Hope this helps you in the place where you need to train people.

Firstly, when facing Odin, you can mug a luck-J scroll from him. Very good.
Secondly, when playing for a short time as Irvine, choosing the instruments for the song , you can actually get up and explare Fisherman's Horizon. This may sound boring, but there are 2 key incentives to do this. One, speak to a person when going back to Balamb Garden; this'll change what he says later, but there won't be any major differences.
Two, go to near where you fought 'Iron Clad' for the second time and go in the house near the entrance. Speak to the galbadian major inside, and then go back out. Immediately reenter. The major should be knocked out. Keep clicking on his body to get various ammos... INCLUDING 5 PULSE AMMO. (so you only need 1 energy crystal or whatever to make Lionheart!)
Also speak to the fellow who was being bullied to get a phoenix down. Then, when you're finished, go back to the centre of town and finish selecting the instruments.
Thirdly, for 2 adamantines, you can mug one each time from the 'Iron Clad' - the blue machine, remember?
I'll probably add more to this later. So keep checking in!

First, go speak to Edea about it. This is probably where you're going wrong. Then you should be able to find it somewhere around the island opposite Edea's. Before you speak to Edea, it won't appear.

The unregistered island that Zell calls "Battle Island" needs steam to get through several doors, and quite a lot at the bottom too. Most readers should already know that, and also know a way of getting out of paying a good amount of steam at the last steam door is to leave things to Zell. However, doing so creates unavoidable fights on each level that keep coming back every time you come back to the area until Ultima is dead. While good for EXP, this could get annoying - you can't even avoid them through ENC-NONE, a Diablos ability, and can't run. Often bad news against the Ruby Dragons especially. So, it may be worth paying out for steam here and 1 on each of the levels, to get to the bottom without a single battle (using the ENC-NONE ability).
Also, using Siren's MOVE-FIND ability near the bottom reveals an Ultima drawpoint and a save point much closer to the winch. I hope I helped those who know what I'm on about.

2006 and still a good game. Here's my hint:
Super Characters.
Put it this way. I've had Quistis with 255 spirit, 255 strength, 255 vitality and 9999 health. Think she's easy to kill? (Apart from terra break, which Omega Weapon has) NO SHE IS NOT!
How did she achieve this? Not through vit-up items or powerful junctions - rather, 4 of cactaur's Bonus abilities! Imagine a level 15 Quistis (I never use her much to begin with). She junctions the HP-, Spr-, Str- and Vit- bonuses. She then fights her way up to level 100 - so she has an extra 85 strength, vitality and spirit, and 2550 extra health. Added onto her average junctions, and Spr + 60% character abilities and such, she is practically immortal. A ruby dragon that used to do 9999 damage with Breath only did around 12 damage - VERY good!
So - Equip those bonuses wherever possible (especially Speed bonus, if you can get it.)

16.)eden-after defeating bahumut go lower into the facility and there you will fight ultima wepon draw from it to get eden or on disc 4 right before the end boss fight tiamat and draw eden from it(i have never done the second way but my friend always does and I've seen.)

2.)chocobo-use the gysahl green in battle

I have never found the mog bell but my friend has lots of them so I know they exist.

If you want to get money fast all you need to do is refine mesmerise blades into mega-potions (1 mesmerise blade=2 mega-potions)using the ability recovery-med refine. You can then sell these for 5000gil each! (or if you have the sell high ability you can sell them for about 7500gil). To get mesmerise blades you can either fight mesmerises on winter island, north of trabia garden or refine the card using the card-mod ability.

- Many people are giving cheats on how to get "Squall's" Ultimate gunblad the (Lionheart.) Well they all say the same thing, use Card Mod to turn Minatour into ten Adamantaise's; but their is a better way!

- Go to (Long Horn Island) that's the long skinny island above Dolet. All you need to do is walk along the beach that surounds the island and you will adventually into twl Adamataise's.

- Now their are many rare items that you can get from them. At their current level you can mug them to get the item "Whisper" which teaches "Quistis" ( White Wind). The second thing you can do is to use GF "Thornberry" LV UP abilty to get them to close or at Lv 100. Then just use mug ability to get Orihalcon.

- Now finaly this is how you get Adamantine encounter them but don't Mug from either one of them. Just kill them both using Irvine use his limit break with Ap Ammo because of their high defense this is the best way I have found to defeat them. Now that you killed both of them you will get two Adamanties.

- Their is one last thing is after you get over five Adamanties you can use GF "Doomtrain's" Forbid - Med - RF to turn five of them into one Vit Up!

You can actually get all the items to make the lionheart on the 1st disc (the Squall ultimate sword)!
here they are:
Adamantine - Minotaur card
Dragons Fangs - T-rexuas between 20-29
Then get 20 Elnoyle cards and change those into 2 energy crystals and then change the 2 crystals into 20 pulse ammo.

To get the 'better' limit breaks of Selphie, all you need is a PS1 and ofcourse FFVIII.

When Selphie is on Aura or low on health and you have brought up her "do over/cast" command, open the lid of your PS1. This will freeze the game but still let you cycle through the list. Keep hitting 'do over' untill you get the spell you want, the close the lid, select 'cast' and Viola! It is done!

PS. Theis does NOT work on PS2

Here's a hint to get loads of exp. First you will need to teach your party status attack (Doomtrain and Siren or get the siren card and refine it)then get 100 death spells for each charactor (refine chef's knifes stolen from tonberries to get 30) then junctoin the spells to st/att. Now fly to the island closest to hell (far left of the map) extremely strong monsters dwell here.

Next only fight Blue dragons,Grendels and T-rexaurs run from all the others you should be able to defeat these monsters with only one or two hits and will level up after almost every battle.

You may have all defeated Diablos.... But I'll tell you an easeier way.
It is possible to defeat him at LV:15.
First junction Curaga for HP and then Water or Tornado to strength on Squall.Lv:15
Then on anyone Curaga and anything that will increase magic on the rest of the party.
Then use Squall's limit break.
And cast Demi 2 times at once with double.
And cure Squall when his HP.
Then you might defeat him.

I hope I helped any starters out there!

To do this cheat you will need GF Carbunkle and atleast 4 Tents.

1. Make GF Carbunkle learn the ability - RECOV MED-RF
and use the ability to swap 4 tents to 1 mega-potion.
2. Then go to the nearest item shop and sell the mega-potion for - 5000.
3. Then buy 4 more tents for 4000.

4. Keep doing all of the above for as many times as you want and soon you will realize that each time you are gaining a 1000.

* Tip * Remember that you dont just have to keep buying 4 tents. If you have enough money you can buy 8 tents and sell 2 mega-potions Etc... Etc...

What magic I recommend to use in the battle is Regen, Shell, Curaga, and of course Aura (Limit Breaks)....use them on your three strongest characters you have and you should be OK.

When fighting dioblos, draw the magic, demi, then cast it on dioblos.

Do NOT draw-cast! Draw 1st, then cast.

It does damage in the 1000s AND Dioblos will cast curaga on the caster.

Then they raise you're SeeD level and finally when you use Selphies limit break try using wall it casts loads of different spells that protect you.

On CD three, find GF Odin's dungeon. Make your way up to the top and climb the ladder on the left, then at the top go into the room and press the button. Then go back down and press the button ( it is shining blue ) and stairs should appear, climb those stairs and you should see a statue, grab the eye from it and then climb the stairs on the right. There will be another ladder, climb it and there will be another statue, place the eye into it and then leave it, it will tell you a CODE. ( write it on paper to remember it ). Take out the remaining two eyes and then place them in the statue down the stairs. Numbers should appear on the right hand side, type in the CODE and the door below will open. In there is ODIN, but be careful you are timed. TIP ON KILLING ODIN :- BEFORE YOU ENTER THE ROOM WHERE ODIN LIES, PRESS O FOR OPTION SCREEN, AND SCROLL DOWN TO ' CONFIG ' THEN GO DOWN TO ' BATTLE SPEED ' AND EDIT IT TO 100%. THEN WHEN YOU FIGHT ODIN YOUR BATTLE WILL BE FASTER AND EASIER. NOTE- ODIN DOES NOT FIGHT BACK AT ALL, HE WAITS UNTIL TIME EXPIRES AND THEN USES HIS LIMIT BRAKE WHICH KILLS YOU NO MATTER WHAT. NOTE 2- THE BEST GF's TO USE ARE IFRIT, SHIVA, AND QUEAZACOTL. GOOD LUCK!

Ultima Weapon:
Life: 100,000 HP
Draw: dispel, ultima, Eden,regen.
Attacks: Light Pillar, Gravija, Meteor, Quake and sword swipe. Stratagy
The Ultima weapon is the 2nd most toughest boss in the game. But not tough when you read this. Make Squall have 200% strength or more, have Lionheart(optional), have one guy heal the other 2 allies in the battle. First, cast Aura on Squall so he can do Lion heart, it will kill Ultima in one hit. If you don't have Lionheart, use Rezenkoken 3 times and he'll die, but after 2 of them, draw Eden from him and if you have the time draw some ultimas too. When you beat him, it may seem like you want to face him again but it is the only way to get the best GF Eden. I've done this with low levels, just have about 7,000+ HP. *Watch out for Light Pillar, it can take out 9999 HP out of a single ally!!!*

I know an easier way to kill Odin simpley get IFRIT to learn MAD RUSH then when in battle put it on you and it puts haste and beserk on ya so all you need to do is simpley press R1 for squall.It only took me 2 mins to kill him.
