A man who can exchange gil for GP at a rate of 100gil to 1GP will some times appear next to the little house at the back of the gold saucer's ropeway station he's not allways there but if you enter (at the welcome sign) and come back out he should appear he appears roughly 1 in every 10 times of entering and exeting so just keep an eye out for him hope this helped with peoples GP count

Ok to get higher odds of gold chocobo fead the chocobos you are breading greens untill the speed,intellect and stamina is as high as it will go now race them at the gold saucer untill they reach 'S' class this will instantly highten your chances of breading the correct chocobos hope this helped

Any character whose hit points are reduced 7777 after an attack will get all lucky 7's effect the character goes into a mad rage and begins attacking the enemy non stop landing a hit for 7777 points of damage each time

After the part where cloud finds himself in the life stream visit the basement at shinra mansion (in nibelheim) upon entering the library area you will flash to a special cinema that explains how cloud ended up back at midgar zack's sword in his hand and decided to become a mercenary

When the Airbuster is facing away from one of them, have them use their limit break. From behind, Braver and Big Shot cause over 600 points of damage each to the Airbuster. The combined power of the two can destroy the Airbuster, which has about 1200 HP, in two hits, provided he is facing away from whoever uses the limit break.

Gi Nattack (fought in Cave of the Gi) - This one's easy. If you have an X-Potion, use it on the Gi Nattack and it will kill him. If you don't have an X-Potion, five or so Cure 2 spells should be enough to take away his 5500 HP.

Early on in the game you can steal powerful weapons that cannot be bought until you reach Junon for the first time. They are the best you can find at that point in the game.

Striking Staff (Aeris) - Steal from Eligor (creature that appears to be riding some sort of chariot) that appears in the Train Graveyard.

Hardedge (Cloud) - Steal from SOLDIER 3RD (sword wielding enemies) that appear on the 67th Floor of the Shinra Building.

Atomic Scissors (Barret) - Steal from Custom Sweeper (large robot similar to the ones you fought in the No.1 Reactor) that appear outside Midgar in the Midgar Area of the world map.

Grand Glove (Tifa) - Steal from the creature in the Mythril Mines that is wielding a ball and chain (sorry, but the name of the creature escapes me).

Ok now I know this aint realy a cheat but still every thing you do will affect some thing else in the game so depending on how you trear some one or what options you choose will determain what happens in your game for instance the start of the game when you get out of the first reactor cloud gets yelled at by some gaurds if you choose to run nothing will happen to your stats for cloud but if you choose to stay and fight his stats will get a little extra boost with every level up you get compared to normal but you must fight them all in order for this to work so next time you are faced with an opption just stop and think what the best thing to do would be

First of all, Emerald weapons weakness is NOT lighting, it is demi.

Secondly, to kill sephiroth you don't need any special materia like KOTR or quadra magic, just simply use healing spells and normal magic.

Thirdly, to get the key red xiii grandpa asks you to get just simply take the submarine and go underwater to one of the little islands and there should be like a cave follow it and there you go.

Lastly, you can get the quadra magic just with the highwind, fly to the crescent shaped island go right to the edge of the green (towards the direction of the cave) land, while you're going to land press the direction to where the cave is and you should just land on the lower floor (the dirty stuff).

Ok first make sure you defeat ultimate weapon so you get clouds best weapon the ultima weapon then make sure you have the submarine when you do dive under water and look for the under water reactor now go west and look for the crashed gelinika now depending on when you come here reno and rude from the turks will battel you this all depends if you come after the final fight with turks if so they wont be hear now browse around and you can find the hades summon materia and you can all so find the double cut materia now leave gelinika rise to the surface and put double cut in clouds armour slots not on the ultimate weapon slots as it will not gain ap point keep encountering random battles untill you have got it to 4 cut also keep clouds health up because the closer he is to full hp the stronger he will attack now when you use 4 cut cloud will do 4 normal attacks but it is worth using this move as by the time you have 4 cut it will do 9999 4 times in a single move I hope this helped with bosses or enemy's you just can't do enough damage on

When you return to midgar go to the gate and there should be a man stood there talk to him and he will say he has lost a key now take the highwind to bone village and talk to the man who lets you search for treasure ask to search for normal treasure when the key to midgar is dug up go to midgar and head for the wall market now rember that broken vending machine shop that shot at you every time you tried it well it is fixed (sort of) examin the machine and it will give you premium heart tifa's best weapon I hope this helped every who is trying to get the best weapons for all characters

You must gain all three huge materia on disk 2 if you have not then this won't work when you get all three huge materia you go back to cosmo canyon and speak to red thirteens grandfather before you leave cloud will ask if he can leave them in a safe place up in his lab if you have bahumit and neo bahumit talk to all of the huge materia and it will give you bahumit zero now for master magic and master summon you must get every materia to master level at least once and then go back to the huge materia it will ask you if want to fuse the materia say yes you will have to sacrifice your masered materia but the joy is you get every piece of materia master level in a single slot the same goes for master summon get every summon in the game to master talk to the huge materia and fuse it all together you will have to sacrifice your summons but this works out even better not only do you have every summon mastered and in one single materia you can now use them as many times as you like in battle instead of the maximum of 5

When you get to red thirteens home town his grandfather takes you through the tunnels (the cave of the dead I think it is called) any way when you finaly get to the end you will see a face on the wall but don't worry red thirteens grandfather explains it after he has finished talking you will be in battle with it instead of slaving away battling simply use an x potion or a phoenix down (phoenix down is easier to get as you can simply buy them)use it on the boss and instead of it taking of hit points it will simply come up death and then you have defeated him trust me this trick realy does work as I use it every time I restart my game I hope it helped everyone out there who was stuck on this boss

When you are in a race, hold R1+R2 to make your stamina rise, the only problem is once you have a mastered gold chocobo, the stamina olny keeps it where it is, it never rises, that's if you are at full speed.

One you get the "W-item" materia go into ANY BATTLE (low level enemy recomended) click w item command go to any item that there is 2 or more of.
Then on the second item click the same one BUT:when you choose who to use it on press X (repeat as many times as you please)there you have a duplicated item then keep pressing o,x,o,x..... And thats how you do it




Its very usefull now I have 99 megalixers 99 phoenix downs and x pots .

Aftre Meteor has been summoned, return to Cosmo Canyon and visit the Item Store (to reach it, climb up the ladder to the far right outside on ground level). There was previously a rope barring a path that lead around to the back of the store, but now that it's disappeared, follow the path around. You'll find yourself in a room with the "Fullcure" materia and two other items.

If you don't find Cure 3 or White Wind effective enough, you might like to use Fullcure.

Like the title says there is a way to get a white chocobo, first enter a yellow chocobo (doesn't matter which one)basically one you just caught put it in a stable and now go to gold saucer and enter the races with your yellow chocobo and now race it in the the short or long (i forgot which) but the one with the water now race your chocobo till it reaches that part while your chocobo is swimming it will look like a white chocobo (only works when it is swimming.

You don't have 2 ues magic or summons when you fight sephiroth only if you are strong enough. I killed him by ataacking him nothing else. I recommend by using Cloud (no choice but 2), Red XIII, and Cid all of them with their strongest weapons plus 4x cut. Just go hard out on sephiroth and try not to let him attack. Trust me i've done a million times.

GLITCH: Try to give tifa cosmic memory(or any item thats teaches a limit) she says "Iv'e got the wrong person" when it should say "You've got the wrong person"

Morph is one of the most helpful commands in the game,why, you can get neat items, weapons,armor and all types of sources like power source,speed source,etc...Morph can help you get all types of things you need including potions.Here are some helpful armor wich you get with morph.Somewhere in south-east or south-west you will find a secret Island wich you will only fight cactuars.If you beat these cactuars with Morph you will get one tetra element armor wich lets you absorb elemental attack. Also in the Northern Cave if you fight the tornberry,kill him with morph and you will get Ribbon wich you will need to defeat Ruby weapon.If you want to know where to get sources look for Mr.Rocket in submitted hints[i think it's there].This is so that if you start a new game start killing every monster in the game with morph to discover neat stuff.Except for the bosses.Hope this is useful to yal.

I have a cheat to fly on the ground for a couple of seconds and then go back into the air with the highwind here it is:

First go to a place where you can land the Highwind and the press X then right when you land before you get out of the Highwind hold O and you will be flying on the ground as the Highwind for a couple of seconds. I guarentee it will work all my cheats work I'm not a liar.

1. equip a character in your party with a W-item command materia.

2.when your party enters a battle, select the W-command by pressing the circle when it is his/her turn to fight.

3. now choose the item you wish to increase by pressing the circle again.

4. select the character you want to use the item on by pressing the circle.

5.when you return to the item screen, choose a different item than the one you selected before by pressing the circle.

6. press X (to cancel), circle (to activate), X, circle, X, circle.

7. by pressing these buttons continuously, you should see the number of the first item you initally selected increase steadily.

To get it breed chocobos until you have a gold and go to the NE island cave with the gold chocobo to get it.

If you want an easy effective way to kill the weapons (ruby and emerald mainly) listen up eh?

First get the required materia: Mime thats all really unless you want E.Skill for big gaurd white wind etc...

You will also need several Hero Drink items omnislash on cloud and the ultima weapon and mystile armour now all u need to do is wait for his limit to be ready, but before that you must feed cloud hero drinks from your other 2 party members, as many as possible and regen and big gaurd should probably not go a miss either.

Now OMNISLASH bang 9999 every hit hopefully then mime mime mime when you need to heal/Revive your party members (Angel Whisper.Life,life2 or phoenix) this method is faster and more effective than your Knights Of the Round method.

I have killed emerald and ruby twice (once on 2 games).

This way is faster I guarantee you will kill him relatively quickly, you will only take a few tries so long as your health is high and his aint so plz try my way as it has worked for me well.

To beat Sephiroth you must have the Barrier and destruct materia maxed out. But the biggest problem is not having a higher enough hp level, so go to cosmo canyon and buy as many as you can affofd of HP plus materia.It works a treat. To get Clouds ultimate weapon, beat ultimate weapon To get Barrets, the missing score, its on the steps late on up to hojo but you must have barret with you To get Tifas go to bone village on disc 3, dig up a key, go back to midgar and to the wall market vending machine To get Aeris go down number 6 on the clock in the temple To get Red13 go to his grandfater after youve taken him to the ancient city To get Cait siths Vist the 64th floor loakers on the second vist to shinras HQ To get Yuffies use the submarine the vist the crased plane To get Cids talk to the old man at rocet town after its gone To get Vincents go to Lucrecias cave in the nibel area

To get the contain materia get a mimett greens and go to Mideel and talk to the white chocobo and scratch behind its ears and voila the chocobo will give you the contain materia.

In the begining (before the first boss) get Bolt 2.You will have a ton of money and EXP.Then the boss will be really easy and the new charactors you get will be just as powerfull.The EXP. will make future bosses easy and you can buy lots of potions etc.Tip don't attack the first boss while his tail is up. In the train grave yard press the ok button by the trash cans.

While racing the chocobos, hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 to increase your speed. To increase their stamina, hold R1 + R2.

While choosing a chocobo to race, press L1, L2, R1, R2 or any direction to pan, zoom and rotate the chocobo you're viewing.

TO GET CLOUDS BEST WEAPON THE ULTIMA WEAPON BEAT THE ULTIMA WEAPON.

Use KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND on JENOVA-SYNTHESIS and when you fight BIZZARO-SEPHIROTH,you can use all of your characters

Quick and easy g.p.

You have to have at least 200,000 gil to get enough gp for expierienc plus here's how.

You just walk in and out of the gold saucer front gate the one with the welcome sign above it until you see this guy write infront of the door in that square were the save point is at and it costs 100 gil for one g.p.and you need 2000 g.p. for the expierience plus.

It will take around 30 minutes because he is out there only 1 out of every 10 times you come out there and you can only buy 100 at a time.

After you have 2000 g.p. go to the wonder square and go up the stairs to the first game room and talk to the girl just standing there and get the one at the bottom that says ???????????.

It is expierience plus the one above it is gil plus, two very helpful materia, and all that gil you just spent will come back to you BIG TIME!!! and the other one in question marks is a item that is just ripping you off.

Another way to get the cused ring! Just have steal materia at "mug" level then mug no.1 weapon at mideel. Bingo. Also to get the flame ring or something like that, just mug ultima weapon the fist time you fight him.

HOW TO GET OPATHORDIC UNDERWEAR

First when you are telling the story of cloud in kalm to the others, When you get to nibelheim in the story, Go to tifas house.

Then go up to her dresser and hit the O button. It will say you recieved opathodic underwear. Then Tifa will get really mad at you.

HOW TO GET KJATA SUMMON.

When you go into the sleeping forest, after you get the lunar harp and wake it up, you will see something red moving arond, It will dissapear from time to time.

Stand up in the top right corner and wait. Then you will see it come to you, and when it gets close to you hit the O button and you will recieve Kjata materia.

HOW TO GET HADES SUMMON

First after you get the submarine dive down (WARNING- UNDERWATER WEAPON WILL BE DOWN THERE SO BE CAREFULL) then look around for a plane inbetween two of the islands.

Then go into the plane and open the box next to the save point. The item inside will be heavens cloud, one of Clouds weapons.

(AFTER YOU GET HEAVENS CLOUD SAVE BECAUSE ALL OF THE MONSTERS IN THE PLANE WILL BE AT LEVEL 45 OR HIGHER) Go to the doorway on the left a1nd you will see Reno and Rude.

You will have to fight them. After you beat them restore your health and save the game. Then go through the door they were blocking and you hill see a busted up chopper.

You will also see 4 Boxes. One has one of Cid's weapons, one will have cids final limit, Highwind,one will have an elixer, and one will have another item I cant remember what.

Then under the helecopters wing there will be a red materia and it will be Hades summon.
