Hints and tip for Final Fantasy VIII

Here's some tips:

Alot of you people have been asking me for tips on FF8,9, and 10 so i've decided to help you out at this site.

First off A great place to get Exp. is the islands that are closest to heaven/hades. well thats fine and dandy if your drawin' holy and stuff and gettin a 'bit' of exp. because once you see this place you'll HA HA HA at those 2 clay molds.

ok first you *need* the regnarok second you might wanna have odin, tonberry king,doomtrain and eden to get the right amount of exp. you deserve. its also a good idea to have a lv. 55+ guy

ok down to the nitty gritty exp. First you wanna know Where do i go? ok hop on your handy-dandy regnarok and fly to esther (but don't go in) then fly to the edge of the city and drop on one of the cliffy lookin areas (i like the veiw of the traks leading to FH but thats me) anyway get into a battle.

Chances are 65% you'll run into a Don Don Don oh my gosh could it a ruby dragon- and a dun dun dun dun! cockatrice! (bleh!) ok so now you know what your up against but where does the Exp. come in.

Well heres whats what. if you have all the requirments + optionals then follow this procedure:

first (note this is based on My party) i have squall w/ doomtrain and eden along w/ the revive ability, rinoa with recover and draw and irvine with the lv. up ability.

(any other character ability or stratagy in which you do this varays.) ok irvine does the lv. up on ruby dragon.

Have rinoa do draw-cast meteore and squall summon doomtrain off the bat. after doomtrain goes (have him at high hp) then ruby dragon should be lv.

100 and have vit+0 and any other status doomtrain gave him (worry about vit zero and don't worry about the cockatrice he'll die soon.)

Now keep rinoa draw-casting meteore all this time and have irvine attack or stock or if you can draw casting meteor too.

But the big thing is to have squall sommon eden. Ruby should be asleep so you'll be able to do this about 1 or 2 times before he wakes up but man! my eden does 341,956 damage minimum! happy now?

OK, after the battle which is sommoning eden 3 or 4 times, you should recieve about 1,000+ exp. Now for the reason why my stratagy is better.

I mentioned 65% chance youll see a ruby dragon well on the island closest to hades you have a 15% chance of seeing him,and also my odin will always attack him at hades so i only get 400 exp.

Out he rarely attacks (atleast on ruby's anayway) so say thanx to me in email if it works ya!
