When you fight a monster, don't go using magic unless it is ultima,comet or elemental magic unless you need it.This makes you waste you MP quickly on magic and you then wont be able to cure youre self from status etc.Just attack a monster or use summon if you need to,to fight a boss you will need to heal youre self and youre allys.Keep this in mind so that when you enter a fight against a tough monster prepare youre self using barrier,cure3,full cure,full life,regen etc..See important stuff.This is especialy for the begginers.
