Civilization 2 Cheats and Tips

Hold R1 and enter '_CasH' without the quotes at the 'Town Name' entry screen.

For a population boom switch your goverment to Democracy and make sure your tax rate is 30% for taxes 40% for science and 30% for luxuries.

Then your people in your cities sould turn from size 3 and size 13 in ten goes just make sure you have enough food.

Don't start a war or your people will get unhappy and won't grow and remember if you leave your people in a civil disorder for more than two turns you will have a anarchy!!!

If you're out of money, just create a city and call it _CasH(while pressing R1 for the H). This code will give you over 29,000 gold! With this cheat, you don't have to keep on building cities.

You can simply rename an existing city using the cheat, get the cash, and rename it again! You can do this as many times as you want.
