Saving Money hint for Zoo Tycoon 2

Saving Money

You need to save money or you will lose the game because all the animals will die if they are not well fed. It has happened to me before I used all my money on the animals and they didn't have any food or water.

yeah its hard not to spend all your money on animals... here are some good tips
you can use trees instead of shelters. a big tree (like the kili tree) is only 60$ then the small cave is $700.
to feed animals like tigers, you can just throw in some beef shanks. they are only $75. the meat is 150$ (with out any container)
you can just put a lake in the cage. its much cheaper
than buying containers for your animal to drink. it also looks more natural.
you can just put grass and plants from a herbivore's biome. its cheap and keeps them full. it also looks better and more natural.
hope this helps you save money!
