In this walkthrough, I will be explaining how to make decent money, get good experience, and co-operation in groups so that you all get a mutual benefit from your kills, as well as frequently asked questions by many beginners. Please, do not copy anything from this walkthrough and claim it as your own. If you have a question, or suggestion of anything I have missed, you can contact me on: sacred.light1@hotmail.com ----Money Making For Beginners---- So you have just made a new account, ready for action and eager for fun in the World Of Warcraft, you go and do various beginner quests and you decide to buy some new armour for yourself. But you find that money makes the world go 'round, so what do you do to stop this in its early stages? It's easier than you think! i. Money From Looting As soon as you begin a quest that requires to slay a certain animal/humanoid, get everything that they drop, even if you dont think you need it. When you get a decent amount of these, you can sell them for 60 copper - 1 silver. As you grow levels, and you find that you can kill higher leveled monsters, therefore, more valuable loot for you to sell to the local General Goods merchant. This is not reccomended for group scenarios, as you cannot be sure of looting a monster that you contribute to kill. ii. Money From Professions The World Of Warcraft has many, many proffesions for you to choose from, from mining to skinning, tailoring to fishing, but what one is right for you and what one can earn you more money? Skinning is a good one to begin with, with a lot of availiable, high level animal to kill, loot and skin while your at it. You will be making some good coin in no time. Mining is also a great one, mining 20 copper ore, then smelting it, you can sell it in an Auction House for 1 gold. Giveing you a chance to be able to wear some green items. ----Solo Training For Beginners---- When you start off in the World Of Warcraft, you will find that you are of extremely low level and you are not exactly equipped with legendary armour and weapons, but, as flimsy as your armour and weapon may seem, you can get up a few levels before you even start a quest. Go to the nearest beast you see and begin killing them off one by one, after about 5-10 kills, you should ding up to level 2, another 5-10 minutes of killing the same monsters will boost you up to level 3. Then, you are more than capable to blitz through the first few quests that you see. (Remember to loot everything that you see from the monsters, you need all the money you can get at the moment). Once you go through 3-5 quests you will probably be level 4, almost or a quarter to level 5. So your pack should be full to the brim by now with various nick-nacks from monsters, these can hopefully earn you over 1 silver. Then you should be able to buy quite a lot of new amour for your character. You should have unlocked some harder, more challenging quests by now, some of which may require you to get into a group. Which brings us into our next segment. ----Group Training For Beginners---- So, you may need to get into a group once in a while to get over those more challenging quests. That's fine. But make sure you have a good understanding of group eittiqute first. - Make sure you do not "Need" any green items unless you really do, if that is the case, tell your group first! - Make sure you support your group! Don't just stand back and get experience for no reason. - Use good grammar and punctuation. Don't use shorthand text, unless they are like "lol" or "rofl". Besides that, use proper english. - If there is a bad member in your group, kick them, they don't need to be with you. - If your leader is contantly changing the looting setting, or is making themselves the master looter, leave, you will most likely not get your fair share. If you follow these rules, you will prove to be a valuable asset to your group! Most likely being promoted to the leader seeing as you are showing an understanding of WoW principles. Once you have completed the quest, you should thank your group then say goodbye. Then you will be known for being a good group member, these same people may PM you out of the blue for another quest. ----FAQ's---- Q: My group leader is taking all the loot! What should I do? A: Leave the group and find a new one Q: I don't understand what my group members are saying! What's happening? A: They are probably using WoW language.
