All right....For all you 'newbies' out there wondering, “how the heck do I do this?”  “How the heck do I do that?” This guide is the perfect one for you.

Okay If you're looking for dagger information and other stuff, you have come to the wrong place. This walkthrough is only for cannon and cannon ammunition and ships.

Let's  begin.



Due to the recent update on POTCO, free players (f2p) have gained complete access to the light galleon. If you have received the doll from the free preview weekend, you can NOT use the curse spell. The only spell you can use is Poke, Swarm, and Heal.  Dagger is un-usable to (f2p).

All right. All ships have cannons. At least one .

The light sloop has 2 cannons. It holds 3 crew members. This should be changes by by buying a new ship ASAP. It has a weak hull and a small number of broadsides.

Next up we have the light galleon. This ship can be used by anyone so purchase this is you area a free access dude. It has more cargo space and more hull plus a reasonable amount of cannons. It also has a few more broadsides than the Sloop.

Then we have the light Frigate. This ship has more hull AND cannons than the light galleons. It can hold less cargo than the galleons though.

ALL OF THE SHIPS  WILL EVOLVE INTO BIGGER SHIPS.

Then we have the normal sloop. I would not bother buying this because it  has low cargo and few cannons. And hardly any broadsides. It has the lowest hull besides the light sloop. 
The only advantage is that it is fast and easy to maneuver.

You know what's next. Its the normal galleon. Now i recommend this. Unlike other ships this ship has its weakness in the front. And it caries a decent number of treasure. And  a lot of broadsides.
It has much more hull than the sloop.

Then next up we have the frigate. This ship is similar to the smaller and cheaper Light frigate. I has cannons in the front of the ship and has a lot of hull. Galleons beat frigates on cargos though.
\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/NOW THE THREE OF THE STRONGEST SHIPS!!

First we have the war sloop. DONT EVER BUY THIS. Like I said this ship is only good for hit-and-run. It suffers on everything else. The broadsides are better than the regular sloop. carries as much cargo as a light galleon. What a weak ship.

THEN the war galleon. If you like to collect lots of treasure in one run, I highly recommend buying this. It carries the most cargo out of any ship in the Caribbean. And It has a lot of hull. And it also has the most number of broadsides out of any ship.

Last but not the least, we have the toughest ship. THE WAR FRIGATE. It has the most cannons and the most hull out of any ship in POTCO. It can carry the most cannons and the most crew too. If you can afford this buy it. If you can afford all three war ships buy all three. You wont regret it!

Let's go to the cannon ammunition

Everybody starts off with this. Its called Round Shot. It loads 3 cannon balls at once. It does a decent amount of damage if hit on the rear of the ship except for galleon. If you're facing a galleon aim for the front side. This is the most basic cannon ammunition.

Next we have the chain shot.

This shot  loads 2 at a time. It is only good for the masts on a ship. Its hard to aim though. Aim for the long sticklike thing on the ship with the sails on it. 2 perfect shots should tear it down for any ship. 

Then the grape shot.

This shot sounds funny and it is. 
This shot is only good for crew on an enemy FLAGSHIP.  When grappled,  shoot with this ammunition to kill some crew without touching them. You are not going to be hurt. you shoot with this from your ship to the  other aiming for the people in the enemy ship. Thats the only good thing about this one.

Then the 'firebrand' 

This cannon ammunition is much like the round shot but its on fire. So when it hits the ship, it catches on fire giving it a slight damage bonus. Shoot a whole bunch and then your ship is as good as dead.

I like this one... Its thunderbolt or lightning. 

This type loads ammunition 1 at a time. and its good for almost al parts of the boat. It can tear down a sail in one shot if aimed correctly. This cannonball 'summons' thunder and lightning from the sky to attack the enemy.

This one is not so really good.
Its called explosive. Like lightning  this one also loads one at  a time. But its loading is 10 times slower than the lightning. Also its hard to aim and has a low range that it can attack. Only close ships should work. Although it has terrible aiming and loading time, it does a decent amount of damage. 1200-3200.
It can destroy a galleon in one hit if aimed right at the front (its weakness is at the front). I do not recommend using it on fast ships like sloops. I also suggest that you break all the masts to stop it from moving it before shooting it with this.

This last canon Ammunition is pretty weird. You might already know this but the revenants and the spanish undead use a type of ammunition called FURY. It shoots long lines of spectral balls. On the tip it looks like it has a face. I really do not have anything else to say because it is hard to describe this one.
