CHAPTER 1 - INTRODUCTION
************************
After writing a guide for Leisure Suit Larry 1, it was an obvious choice for me
to write a guide for the second Leisure Suit Larry game. After the original
was claimed to be too dirty by some, Al Lowe decided to make Larry go looking
for true love, as opposed to cheap sex (as stated in the manual of the
collection). The game was heavily toned down, and was even given a proper story.
The game was literally just like any other adventure game, but is still fun to
play. Either way, I hope you enjoy the game, and find my guide of use to you!

CHAPTER 2 - WALKTHROUGH
***********************
Unfortunately for you, the game is played like a graphic text adventure game.
Whilst you can move around your character on screen, you still have to type in
all of your commands. Thus, a command you must type in, will be shown in FULL
CAPITAL letters, just so you know what to actually type. Of course, I will
point you in the right direction as well. Good luck!
At the start, you must again, go through a protection procedure. This time, you
must put in the girls phone number to pass, which can be found inside the
manual. You can also put this number in, 0724, to completely skip this, although
that number also skips the intro.
***********
LOS ANGELES
***********
EVE'S HOUSE:
You start in front of Eve's house, with no items. Go into the garage and TAKE
DOLLAR. Then, go North three times, East Two Times, and LOOK HOLE. Go right once
and into the Quikiemart.
QUIKIEMART:
Walk infront of the clerk and BUY TICKET. Now, enter any six three-digit numbers
you want, since it doesn't matter. Wait for the ticket to process (ie, press
enter a few times) to get your ticket. Leave the shop, and go West three times.
Enter the studio.
STUDIO:
Once inside, go to the receptionist and SHOW TICKET. Memorise, or jot down, the
six numbers she gives you, and enter them when prompted to. Now, you will appear
in the green room, SIT at the chair. STAND when the guy comes in, and enter the
door he came in through, you're in the Dating Connection! Type anything in when
you need to, and after, you will be back in the green room, and get your ticket
back. SIT again, and wait for a woman to come in the door opposite to the dating
connection. STAND and go inside it to play the Lottery SHOW. You will then win
1 million dollars. Leave the studio altogether, and go south once, then east.

MOLTO LIRA:
Walk to the back, and TAKE SWIMSUIT. Walk to the front of the counter to PAY.
You will then get loads of change from your 1 million dollar bill. Exit the
shop, and go South once. Wait for a jogger to run (in the background, very
small), then LOOK JOGGER. Now, go West and South to get back to Eve's House.
LOOK BIN twice, then TAKE PASSPORT. Now, go right two times and enter the barber
shop.
BARBER SHOP:
SIT at the chair and you will get a haircut. Once it's finished, go outside and
North twice to a closed shop. Go East to find the Drug Store.
DRUG STORE:
TAKE SUNSCREEN from the left shelf and PAY the clerk. Exit the Drug Store, and
go North to get to the Quikiemart again.
QUIKIEMART:
Walk in front of the giant soda cup, and TAKE SODA (which will take a while to
fill up). Go to the clerk and PAY for it, leave and go west three times, and
south once. Go into the Music Shop.
YE OLDE ETHNO-MUSICOLOGY SHOPPE:
Head over to the girl, and TALK GIRL, and a few story scenes will play. We can
already tell LSL 2 is a lot more like a proper adventure game (with the story
and all). Either way, once they're finished, go east. Ignore the guy, and go
South, then east to the Cruise Ship. Go to the man and SHOW TICKET, then go up
the ramp.

CRUISE SHIP
***********
CABIN:
Enter the cabin at the lower right of the ship (it's to your right). Go to the
door, OPEN DOOR to find the contest's winner's mum. Once the talking is done,
quickly go back to your room. When you go back toher room, make sure she isn't
there. Save your game before hand, just in case. When you're in, make sure a
message comes up saying she isn't there. If it says she is coming back, even if
it says later, leave and try again. Once it says she isn't there, nor coming
back (I think it says something along the lines of "nope, not this time"), go
over to her drawer next to her bed, and OPEN DRAWER, then TAKE SEWING KIT, and
CLOSE DRAWER. Quickly get back to your room. TAKE FRUIT from your bed side
drawer, stand behind the wardrobe, and WEAR SUIT. Now leave your room.
SWIMMING POOL:
Head up the first set of stairs, then second, and walk all the way to the right
to find the swimming pool. When you fist enter, USE SUNSCREEN. Then I suggest
saving your game for this part. Go to the empty bed and LIE on it. A woman will
come, ignore her, when she is gone, STAND. Now, walk to the pool, and SWIM.
Make sure you're in the midle, and DIVE and go to the bikini, TAKE TOP, then
swim back up. Swim to the side and GET OUT, and USE SUNSCREEN. Head back to your
cabin to WEAR SUIT, and go to the revolving door restaurant. NOTE: If the mum
comes after returning from the pool, you did something wrong, and you die. Leave
once you have your Leisure Suit on.
RESTAURANT:
You will want to go to the restaurant next, it's the big revolving door at the
very top of the ship. Once inside, go to the left of the counter and TAKE DIP.
Leave, and head over to the Barber Shop. It's the lower left room (near the
front). SIT at the chair to get a Wig. Leave, and head up to the Control Room
at the top left.
CONTROL ROOM:
Save just in case, since if you walk near the captain you will be killed, and
going near the other door will get the KGB killing the captain, thus you die
which you don't want. Either way, walk over to the blue lever to the right, and
PULL LEVER. Leave the same way you got in. Now, head back to the restaurant,
but instead of going in, when you reach the next floor (by going up the stairs
to the restaurant), go left to the small life boat.
LIFEBOAT:
Go to the entrance of the life boat, and JUMP BOAT. When you're drifting away,
make sure you USE WIG, and THROW DIP, otherwise you will die. You will be stuck
at sea for 10 days, using up different items (if you did everything on the ship,
you will survive). You end up on an island.

ISLAND RESORT
*************
JUNGLE:
From the beach, head south to reach the jungle. Don't forget to save either.
Once you're in the jungle, Larry will automatically start walking around the
jungle. The second time he appears on screen, he walks near a flower, so TAKE
FLOWER. Now, just wait an age for him to finally find an exit.
RESTAURANT:
Walk over to the man to your left, and TALK MAN. After, walk to the chair to
your right, and SIT. You will have to watch five different couples arrive, and
be seated, again taking a while. Once that is done, you finally get a seat.
Note that if you try to eat the food, you die, so don't. Instead, head over to
the buffet and TAKE KNIFE, then leave.
HOTEL ROOM:
Do not fret, you don't have to watch that whole animation again (of Larry in the
jungle). Simply type EXIT, and he should find a shortcut the next time he goes
off screen, and will appear at the Hotel Room. When inside, ignore the maid, and
TAKE MATCHES near the bed. Go into the bathroom, and TAKE SOAP, then leave.
BARBER SHOP:
Again, EXIT and you should arrive at the Barber Shop. SIT at the chair, then
leave once your hair is done.
BEACH:
Again, EXIT, and you arrive at the beach. Go left, and TAKE BIKINI BOTTOM, then
go back to the jungle.
HOTEL ROOM:
When you exit, you might appear at the Restaurant, simply leave, and you should
appear in the Hotel Room. When you do, walk behind the bathroom, and WEAR
BIKINI (you need the top from the ship and bottom from beach), then PUT SOAP
IN BIKINI. Leave the hotel.
BARBER SHOP:
SIT at the chair once again, to get fully waxed. Now leave, and EXIT.
BEACH:
Head right, and pass the beach, the KGB agent won't recognise you. Once you're
on the cliffe, navigate your way to the end (this can be a pain in butt,
seriously). At the end, when the messages are coming up, keep trying to type in
WEAR SUIT, eventually it will let you.

AIRPORT
*******
When the two men come up to you in robes, GIVE FLOWER and they will go away. Go
inside the airport. Go left, and into the Barber Shop.
BARBER SHOP:
LOOK GIRL, then SIT at the chair, you get your old hair. Leave.
AIRPORT:
Go right twice, past the que, and to the Customs, walk to the guy at the bottom
and SHOW PASSPORT. Go right, you will see a belt with loads of bags going across
it. Wait for a green bag to come across, TAKE SUITCASE when it gets in front of
you. After the scene, TALK GIRL at the counter, to get a ticket, go right again.
SHOW PASSPORT to the customs guy again, and go into the next room.
REST AREA:
Go to the counter and BUY FOOD. Once it has arrived, GET PIN. Now, go over to
the red machine to the right, and BUY INSURANCE. Now go up the terminal.

AIRPLANE
********
WAITING ROOM:
TAKE PAMPHLET from the left of the desk. Then SHOW TICKET to the person at the
desk, and you will be in your seat.
PLANE:
When you're on the plane, wait for you to be seated, and for take off. Ken, from
Lefty's Bar, will talk to you. GIVE PAMPHLET to distract him. TAKE BAG, then
STAND. Walk right to the back of the plane. Walk to the door with the red light
next to it, then walk directly downwards, hopefully, you're in front of the
emergency door. WEAR PARACHUTE, USE PIN, USE HANDLE, and OPEN DOOR, you will be
sucked out. Whilst falling, USE PARACHUTE to save yourself.

NONTOONYT ISLAND
****************
JUNGLE:
You will find yourself stuck in a tree, typical hey? USE KNIFE to sort it out.
TAKE STICK, and go to the bottom of the screen. You will see one opening, it's
blocked by a bush, CRAWL before you reach it to save yourself from killer bees.
Go down. Here, walk past the rocks, you will notice a snake hiding on the tree
branch. When you're in between two rocks, it will attack, quickly type USE STICK
to defeat it. Now continue. In the next area, SAVE!!! You need to avoid the
quicksand by walking on the light brown parts, it's hard. If you fail, just
restore the saved game. Once you reach the other side, save again. Walk near the
vine over the river, SWING VINE. Quickly press F3 (to re type that command) and
enter, to swing to the next one, just keep pressing F3 then enter and you should
get across. Walk to the vine above you and TAKE VINE. Go to the beach to meet
Kalalau.
VILLAGE:
After the long cut-scene, you will be left at the chasm. Head back into the
village, and back another screen. Head over to the old fire and TAKE ASH, then
go back onto the beach, and TAKE SAND. Head back to the Chasm.
VOLCANO:
In the middle of the chasm, USE VINE and you should get across (falling off
doesn't kill you, you respawn, but save here anyways). Now walk up and USE ASH
in front of the ice steps. At the top, stand near the gap in the middle and
PUT BAG IN BOTTLe, USE MATCHES, then quickly DROP BOTTLE. Then walk into the
elevator, and enjoy the ending!

CHAPTER 3 - ITEMS
*****************
This chapter contains a complete, alphabetic list of all the items in the game,
and their location.
AIRPLANE TICKET:
Once the massive que at the Airport is gone, you can buy a ticket at the desk,
in the main room.
AIRSICK BAG:
On the airplane, when seated, you can TAKE BAG to get it.
ASHES:
At the village on Nontoonyt Island, after you're told to go across the Chasm,
TAKE ASH at the campfire will get the item.
BIKINI BOTTOM:
On the beach at the Island Resort.
BIKINI TOP:
Found at the bottom of the pool on the Cruise ship.
BOBBY PIN:
When you order food at the Airport, TAKE PIN to find the pin inside the food.
CRUISE TICKET:
You get it after winning the Dating Connection show, at the TV Studio in Los
Angeles.
DOLLAR BILL:
Stolen from inside Eve's garage.
FLOWER:
At the Island Resort, the first time you enter the Jungle, wait for Larry to
appear on screen a second time, you can get it then.
FRUIT:
On the drawer next to Larry's bed, in his cabin on the Cruise ship.
GROTESQUE GULP:
You can get it at the Quikie Mart in Los Angeles.
HAIR REJUVENATOR:
You get it at the Airport Barber.
KNIFE:
It's on the buffet, in the restaurant, on the island resort.
LOTTERY TICKET:
You can buy it at the Quikie Mart, with the DOLLAR BILL from Eve's.
MATCHES:
In the hotel room at the Island Resort, the matches are found on the drawer
(in front of the bed, not behind).
MILLION DOLLAR BILL:
After winning the Dating Connection, you will then go into the Lucky Life
Lottery show, and win the Million Dollar Bill.
ONKLUNK:
You get it when you enter the Music shop in Los Angeles.
PAMPHLET:
On the desk in the airport waiting room.
PARACHUTE:
At the airport snackbar, the Parachute can be brought from the red vending
machine.
PASSPORT:
After you win the Dating Connection, Look at Eve's bins twice, to find the
Passport (you then have to pick it up after).
SAND:
Found on the beach on Nontoonyt, near the village and pirahna river.
SEWING KIT:
Inside the drawer next to the bed, in the mums cabin on the Cruise Ship.
SOAP:
At the Hotel Room on the Island Resort, it can be found in the bathroom.
SPINACH DIP:
On the counter at the restaurant, on the Cruise ship.
STICK:
When you crash your parachute into the tree, and cut yourself free, the STICK
is lying next to you.
SUNSCREEN:
Brought on the left-most shelf in the drugstore, in Los Angeles.
SWIMSUIT:
Found at the back of the Molto Libra shop, in Los Angeles.
VINE:
After swinging across the pirahna river, you can find it on a rock.
WAD O'DOUGH:
After buying the SWIMSUIT, you get this item as change for the one million
dollar bill.
WIG:
After getting a hair cut at the barber on the cruise ship, you get this item.
