[1] Introduction

This guide is just a quick review of classes. From my experience of the game,
I have listed how each classes should be played in a team (online or whatever)
I will be posting another guide for solo, more in depth.

There is no need to argue over what you agree or disagree on how the game,
the classes should be played, as these are my suggestions for starting
players that are still trying to figure out the classes.

If you feel you know better, go ahead and write another FAQ / guide.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[2] Warrior

Level of Play: -Hard to Very Hard

Learning Curve:
-Very hard to play at first, but when learned well, can be the toughest,
last man standing while your whole team is dead. Can solo any game
difficulties when played correctly

Strength:
+ can take the most damage (eating food heals more than other classes)
+ can knock down multiple enemies repeatedly
+ can get out of being surrounded if played correctly
+ Leap attack is good for reaching enemy caster in the crowd
+ Wide cleaving normal attack is good for holding the line

Weakness:
- dashing cannot be used while being hit
- dashing takes a second to execute, and can be interrupted
- can easily be surrounded if melee recklessly
- heavy attack leaves him vulnerable to be attacked by surrounding enemies
- have a hard time dealing with ranged attacks
- have a hard time dodging, since dash is not instant

Basic roles:

1) Dash in to take out enemy casters or summoning stones
2) Protect Wizard - so he can keep doing big area damage without worrying
about getting out of melee range
3) Clear the enemy standing in the way of summoning stone by charging in,
knocking them down so the Elf can plant the bomb / explosive attack
4) Double team with Valkyrie, covering her blind spot, and protect her when
she is defenseless while doing a shield throw

Note:

Warrior is by far the hardest class to play at the moment.
He has to manage his attack so that he will not be surrounded.
His only tools of evading are either Whirlwind or Dash -which require
cool down management. It is easier to just stay near wizard, holding the line
and let Wizard do all the damage. Only exception is when you have to dash in
to take out annoying enemy casters located in the crowd -only you can do it.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

[3] Valkyrie

Level of Play: -Modorate to Hard

Learning Curve:
-Overall a decent class. Shield throw control is what makes her good, but it
all comes down to your style of play.

Strength:
+ Easy to play, simple tools to use
+ Shield Block can block EVERY ATTACK in the game when facing the correct
direction. Environmental attacks cannot be blocked (Ceiling drops from 1st
Boss, Death, Propelling blades, test it out and you'll see)

+ Stab attack deals good damage to enemies in a line. No cool down
While performing stab attack, all attacks from the direction you are facing
will be blocked = if you are hit from behind, your stab will be interrupted.

+ Easy time dealing with ranged attacks as shield block deflects / reflects
+ Only class with no problem if cornered (not surrounded) as she can keep
blocking and get out with stab attack

+ Shield throw can kill many enemies at once. It can damage summoning stone
twice per attack if controlled correctly = same with tougher enemies

Weakness:
- Lowest mobility as her stab attack does not move far enough
- Hard to get out when surrounded since shield block does not cover all
direction, stab attack can be interrupted from behind the shield, and
shield throw does not give any invulnerability

- Shield throw leaves you vulnerable, unable to block
- Shield throw is difficult to control. It can hit food unexpectedly.
- She is limited to defense since she cannot move around as much as warrior

Basic roles:

1) Hold the line. Keep shield up, let wizard / elf do all the damage
2) Clear the charging line with shield throw for your friends to get in
3) Double team with Warrior, cover his back and blindspots

Note:

Valkyrie is a simple and easy to play class, however, people usually end up
taking too much damage and dying a lot cause they do not know how to manage
her tools properly. Valkyrie is not meant to be charging the front line or
a big crowd of enemies as she has the HARDEST time compared to other classes
to get out of being surrounded. She is best played defensively, blocking
ranged attacks, keeping mobs from getting close to wizard or elf while they
do their best to nuke down the summoning stones.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

[4] Wizard

Level of Play: -Modorate to Hard

Learning Curve:
-First hour is about memorizing the spells, the rest is about when to use them
It takes a little while to get used to spells switching, but once you get them
down in reflex, Wizard is a must have class in any party.

Strength:
+ Has the most tools in the game.
+ Has the response for every situation
+ Lightning shield gives you invulnerability to almost from every attack
+ Fire Dash will get your out of every situation
+ Fire Ball can take out a cluster of enemies at once, even higher difficulty

WeaknesS:
- Lowest hit points in the game
- Switching spells can be frustrating in the midst of combat
- Requries spell cool down management
- big disadvantage when fighting in small rooms

Basic roles:

1) Ice Ball the summoning stone, and Fire ball clusters of enemies
2) Dash in the summoning stone, create a lightning shield for your friends
to stay and keep hitting the stone.
3) provide cover fire for your melee friends as your fireball can clear the
area instantly while warrior and valkyrie melee attacks take a few hit
to kill and they can be vulnerable from their backs

Note:

Wizard is a must have class for any party. He can be played in many ways.
His most useful tool is fireball, since it kills a lot of enemies at once.
The weakness is that it has notable cool down, and can only be shot from a
middle range. It should be used to clear out enemies instead of hitting the
summoning stones. Fireblast single target does a better job on the stones.

Warrior and Valkyrie should be busy keeping enemies off you while you nuke
them, but do not ignore them and go on your own. Since spell damage hurt much
more than normal melee, you should be the one killing most of the enemies.

Provide crowd control, freezing and poping shield properly to create field
advantage for your team. It is also your job to monitor what is going on in
the field, as whatever you are doing can greatly affect the situation.

A bad wizard will drag the team back, while a decent wizard will keep the team
up and running. You should not even be taking hit at all if team play is good.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

[5] Elf

Level of Play: -Easy to Modorate

Learning Curve:
-Easy to learn. This class can be the most fun to play. Learning is quite
simple, does not take much time to master. There will be variety of noob
Elf to very good Elf players. This class suits all skill play

Strength:
+ Very easy to play as a ranged class, run around and shoot
+ Rolling has little cool down, and will get out of EVERYTHING in the game.
You can roll out of being surrounded, away from attacks, into the crowd, etc.

+ Bomb has a big radius and does good damage. Enemies will be chasing you
anyway, therefore it is one of the best tools in the game
+ Snipe can take out distant enemy caster instantly
+ Explosive arrow is very useful for any target
+ Ranged = rarely get surrounded
+ normal shot is very rapid and can be shot while running in any direction

Weakness:
- If you are playing online, someone else will always already be playing him
- Normal attack does not damage summoning stone
- Normal attack does not stagger enemies on hit, only single target at a time.
- Sniping / Explosive shot requires constant proper aiming
- Sniping / Explosive shot cannot get through to target in mid of the crowd

Basic Role:
1) stand back and keep shooting whatever coming at you
2) Snipe out key targets: casters, archers, summoning stone
3) place bomb when you anticipate a teammate is getting surrounded
4) Get in and bomb summoning stone, get out -wait for cool down, repeat

Note: This class gameplay is pretty much simple. You are the spec ops, get in
to bomb the summon stone, get out, repeat. If you see your friends getting
surrounded? bomb it, help them out. Find yourself surrounded? roll out.
so Easy and fun to play -This is why most of the time other people will be
playing this class as well, when you join a game online.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

[6] Closing

I hope you get better ideas of how to play each classes. As for the game
mechanics, relics, other FAQs, I will not be covering since I feel that they
can be found out on the official sites or forums.

I will be writing up my favorite class (Warrior) in depth guide later.
I have been playing around with the classes SOLO in HARD difficulty, and I
can say that it will train anyone to be good if he can solo a stage or two.

You will learn that managing cool down is everything in this game.
Melee is so much more difficult to play than ranged class because of the new
game mechanic we are not used to. It takes about 4 hits on a weaker monster
and about 5-7 hits on a tougher ones to kill it with normal attacks, not
to mention there will be a group spawning every second you waste not hitting
the summoning stone. And once you are surrounded = it's over.

Thank you for reading this guide.
