The point of this game is simple, it's sort of a remix of the classic Jezz 
Ball. However, instead of clicking to draw horizontal or vertical lines, you 
run around with your knight to try to close off areas of the level. The goal 
isn't necessarily to kill all of the enemies in the map but to fill up a large 
percentage of the map and destroying all turrets, you don't have to trap the 
dragons. Of course, this is much easier when you take out the monsters first 
which also gives you a higher score. You will see as you move around that you 
leave a wall behind you. If an enemy hits you or your wall, you will die so be 
careful!

There are several different enemies in the game, to learn more about them, 
check out the monsters section (F4) of this guide. Some monsters can be tricky 
to capture while others are easy with a bit of patience. For enemies that move 
around, you want to just try to close them in a large area so they don't fly 
into your wall and kill you. For turrets, try to get the halberd icons to get a 
catapult to destroy the turret. If you have trouble reaching the halberd icons, 
try to make small blocks as you make a square around the turret. If you take 
too long, they will shoot a pellet at you and kill you. This is actually a 
really safe way to take down turrets so if you're having trouble reaching the 
halberd icons, which also kill turrets and much more safely, try using this 
strategy.

There are also several power ups in the game, to learn more about them, check 
out the power ups section (F3) of this guide. The power ups in this game give 
you a huge advantage. Some of them are very powerful and can help you easily 
take out a few monsters in just a matter of seconds. Just pay attention because 
underneath the icon, you will see a counter when the power up is starting to 
end, it only starts at three and some power ups last longer than others. Once 
you see the number appear under the icon, get to a wall to be safe before you 
get killed. 

One important thing to note is that the terrain of the world limits your 
movement speed. There are three types of terrain in this game. From slowest to 
fastest, they are swamp, water, and land. The swamp is a browner area and looks 
like a lot of tall grass. Use this information carefully because it could kill 
you if you aren't paying attention. 

There are four difficulty levels in this game. They are Easy, Normal, Hard, and 
Impossible. One difference between these difficulties is how many lives you 
will start each stage with. For easy, you will begin with five, normal is four, 
hard is three, and impossible is two. Monsters will also move at a much faster 
rate of speed. 

There are two great strategies that I love to use in this game and it really 
depends on the monsters within the stage more than the layout of it. If there 
are a lot of monsters, I like to try to make a large plus sign. What I do is 
move towards the center from each end of the map to make a large plus sign. 
Obviously to avoid monsters, you have to make small squares. But stop just 
before the middle of the stage on each side. The monsters should be stuck in 
one of the corners and then you can quickly square it off in the center to 
knock them out. The other is when there aren't many monsters and you just 
slowly work your way to cut off half of the stage.

The world map is a bit strange and can split at times so I will draw out the 
map with numbers so you know which level to look for. These are not official 
numbers, simply the way I chose to list them. Note that if there are two or 
three castles in a region of the land, that means there are two or three stages 
within that stage.

Stage 1
_________________________

This level is really simple. There is one turret in the center and a dragon 
flying around. The halberd icon is on the ship in the lower left corner with 
water surrounding it.

Stage 2
_________________________

There are three turrets in the middle of the stage. The halberd icons are in 
the center below the turrets, next to the water in the upper left corner, and 
in a swampy area in the lower right corner. There are also two green dragons in 
this stage.

Stage 3
_________________________

You will notice cobblestone walls in this stage. You cannot run through these 
but monsters can move through them so be careful around the wall. There are 
four turrets in the middle of this stage. The halberd icons are above the two 
lower walls and above and below the upper wall. There are also two green 
dragons in this stage.

Stage 4
_________________________

There are six towers in this stage, three in a line one the left and right 
sides of the stage. All of the halberd icons are in the center of the level 
right next to each other so they are easy to grab. There is a new enemy, the 
bone dragon, along with your usual green dragon.

Stage 5
_________________________

There are five turrets in this stage, all in the center. They are surrounded by 
water but have bridges on every side of them. Use the bridges to reach them 
instead of moving slowly through the water. The halberd icons are at the 
beginning of each bridge and one in the top of the center island. You will 
notice a new enemy, the blood bat, in this stage. There are also two green 
dragons.

The second stage in stage 5 also has five turrets. They are guarded by a large 
body of water around every side except for the bottom portion. All of the 
halberd icons are in the middle around of this stage around the land bridge to 
the turrets. There are also walls on the upper part of this stage to make it 
tough to get around the top. There are two green dragons and one bone dragon.

Stage 6
_________________________

This stage has four towers in the center with water surrounding all of them. 
There is only a bridge on the upper left side. The halberd icons are in 
different corners of the island, getting closer to the island going counter 
clockwise from the bottom left to the upper left. There is a bone dragon and 
green dragon in this stage. There are also walls coming out of each side of the 
map.

There are six turrets in the center of the stage. The six halberd icons are 
surrounded by walls, three on the right and three on the left half of the map. 
There are five green dragons and a blood bat in this stage.

Stage 7
_________________________

There are eight turrets in this stage. There are four turrets in the center and 
one in each corner. There are four halberd icons in the center, one near the 
bottom center, one near the right center, one near the left center, and one in 
the upper left corner. There is a green dragon and black dragon. 

There are six turrets in this stage in the upper center. There is water running 
through the bottom right half of the screen and a swampy region in the lower 
left. There is a halberd icon in the two ships on the water, one in the lower 
right and lower left corners, and the other two are on the left side of the 
turrets. There is a black and green dragon in this stage.

Stage 8
_________________________

There are four ancient towers in this stage, one in each corner with a wall 
pointing towards the outter corners of the map. There are three green dragons 
and one bone dragon in this stage. 

There is a river going down and across this map with six turrets in the center, 
three on each side of the river. There are halberd icons on the ships, and two 
on each side of the river. There are walls pointing towards the corners from 
the turrets. There are two green dragons and a black dragon in this stage.

Stage 9
_________________________

There are six turrets in this stage, three in the bottom center and three in 
the top center. There are walls shooting out from the right and left sides 
towards the center. There are four halberd icons on the top and two on the 
bottom. There are also two bone dragons in this stage.

There are three turrets in this stage in the center. The halberd icons are near 
the water in the upper left, below the three turrets in the center, and in a 
swampy region in the lower right. There is a bone dragon, black dragon, and 
blood bat in this stage.

There are a lot of walls in this stage to travel around. There are six turrets 
in the center and the halberd icons are all along the outter edges. There is a 
green dragon and black dragon in this stage.

Stage 10
_________________________

There are ten turrets in this stage. Four enclosed in a walled off area in the 
upper left and six more in a road leading up to the four. The halberd icons are 
all on that road between the six turrets. There are also three green dragons in 
the stage. 

There are five turrets in this stage, all in the center with water circling 
them and bridges on each side. The halberd icons are around the four bridges. 
There is a green dragon, black dragon, and blood bat in this stage.

There are six turrets in this stage, three on the right and left sides. All of 
the halberd icons are in the center of the stage with walls blocking them from 
the top and bottom. There are two bone dragons in this stage.

Stage 11
_________________________

There are five turrets in this stage. Four in the upper left and one on an 
island on the right side. The right half is covered in water and the area 
around the water is a swampy region. There are only four halberd icons and they 
are all along the coast. There is a bone dragon, black dragon, and two green 
dragons in this stage.

There are four ancient turrets in this stage so no halberd icons. They are in 
the corners of the stage with walls on the outter edges. There is a blood bat, 
green dragon, bone dragon, and black dragon in this stage.

There are ten turrets in this stage. Four in the center, three in the upper 
right and three in the upper left. The halberd icons are scattered around the 
outter edges of the stage with swampy regions all around. There are two bone 
dragons and a green dragon in this stage.

Stage 12
_________________________

This is the last stage and it is a bit tricky. With Xitrof there, it's a tough 
stage. He will fly around like a dragon and shoot a homing magic spell. Your 
best bet is to wait until for the spell to hit a wall and then make your move. 
There are four turrets in each corner along with a total of twenty turrets in 
the circle with water around it and bridges on the right and left sides. The 
halberd icons are all around the level. Be careful in this stage as you grab 
the halberd icons quickly. As you take time, Xitrof will spawn more and more 
green dragons.

Throughout the game, you will see a blue badge icon with a red star within it. 
If you enclose these within your walls and capture the land that it is on, you 
will receive one of these power ups for a limited amount of time. These are not 
official names, I am simply naming these icons based on how they appear in the 
game.

DRAGON STOP                   Dragon Stops will only stop dragons. They will
                              prevent dragons from flying around and possibly
                              kill you. Take advantage of these to take out the
                              dragons that give you the most trouble. Just be
                              careful of turrets because they will still shoot
                              at you.

HOUR GLASS                    Hour glasses aren't very useful in this game 
                              unless you go really slow through each stage or 
                              play on impossible difficulty. Even on hard, you 
                              will typically finish within the time limit with 
                              easy but with the speed of monsters on 
                              impossible, this could come in handy.

KNIGHT                        Knights are very helpful, especially in the 
                              harder difficulties and latter stages of the 
                              game. They are essentially extra lives which give 
                              you the ability to die one more time in a stage.

SHIELD                        Shields are essentially an invincibility power 
                              up. If you receive one of these power ups, you
                              will not be kill by any monster, whether they hit
                              your knight or the line you are drawing.

SKULL                         Skulls will automatically kill one moving monster
                              on the screen, meaning anything other than a 
                              turret. These are great to receive a free pass on
                              one of those pesky moving monsters that can cause
                              headaches towards the end of a stage. 

SPEED                         Speed power ups are personally my favorite and 
                              with good reason. They allow you to move twice as
                              quickly as you normally would. 

TIME STOP                     Time Stops don't just stop time but they stop 
                              everything in the world. They will stop dragons
                              from flying around and stop pellets shot from 
                              turrets along with preventing turrets from 
                              shooting pellets during the length of this power 
                              up. Take advantage of these by killing whichever
                              enemy gives you the most trouble. 

TURRET STOP                   Turret Stops will only stop turrets. It will 
                              prevent turrets from shooting pellets along with 
                              stopping pellets mid flight. Take advantage of 
                              this power up to kill any turret that you can. 
                              You should save the halberd icons since those are 
                              easier to get than it is to encircle a turret. 
                              This way you can use the easier halberd icons to 
                              kill turrets instead of getting the more 
                              difficult halberd icons. Just be careful of 
                              moving monsters because they will still fly 
                              around.

TURRET                        Fortresses are protected by turrets. Turrets are
                              basic defense devices operated by the malicious
                              gray goblins of Xitrof. When you leave the base 
                              line, the turrets will start shooting pellets at
                              you. In order to destroy the turrets you have to
                              claim the land they are on, or gather the halberd
                              icons on the map. Every time you gather a halberd
                              icon, it activates one of the ancient catapults
                              on the map, which destroys out one of the 
                              operating turrets.

GREEN DRAGON                  Green Dragons are the poisonous creatures of the 
                              evil Xitrof. They are slow, dumb but very-very
                              dangerous. They roam the land endlessly looking
                              for prey. Do not get in their way or they will
                              eat you alive. The only way to kill them is to
                              encircle them.

BONE DRAGON                   Bone Dragons were summoned by Xitrof when he 
                              heard that you entered the land of Fortiana. 
                              These vicious assassins are after you: as soon as 
                              you leave the base line they catch your scent and 
                              attack you immediately. Make them your prey by 
                              encircling them quickly.

BLOOD BAT                     Blood Bats are the ferocious creatures of the 
                              dark Fortiana nights. No protection spell can 
                              ward them off and they smell war-blooded 
                              creatures from miles. They travel on your base 
                              line. The only way to get rid of them is to go 
                              face them. Encircle them and they will perish.

BLACK DRAGON                  Black Dragons are the personal familiars of 
                              Xitrof, himself. Only a handful of them exist, 
                              but they are the most brutal and fearsome 
                              creatures of the world. These fire breathing 
                              monsters devour everything that stands in their 
                              way. They can be killed if you encircle them, but 
                              beware of their fire breath.

ANCIENT TOWER                 Some of the fortresses are protected by ancient 
                              Towers which were made indestructible by ancient 
                              spells. They can only be destroyed by claiming 
                              the territory they are on.

XITROF                        The final enemy is Xitrof himself. So far he 
                              rested in his citadel, but now that you came this 
                              far, he cannot resist fighting you, face to face. 
                              Xitrof is a demonic magician who shoots magic 
                              missiles at you. If it catchesyou out of your 
                              base line, it will kill you instantly. You don't 
                              have much time either, as time passes Xitrof will 
                              call more and more of his minions to aid him.

DRAGON MASTER                 Capture 100 dragons.

FACE OFF                      Capture xitrof.

FLAWLESS VICTORY              Complete every level to perfect on any 
                              difficulty.

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE            Finish the game on Impossible difficulty.

ONE MORE                      Capture a catapult trigger when there is no more 
                              turret left to shoot out.

POWERED UP                    Capture a powerup while you are under the effect 
                              of an other powerup.

THE CONQUEROR                 Conquer at least 40% of the playfield with a 
                              single capture.

TRIPLE X                      Capture at least 3 triggers with one capture.

ZOO MASTER                    Capture one of each enemies.
