 Introduction
==============================================================================*

Simply put, this guide deals with the new runewords which were implemented in
the game with the release of the 1.11 patch.

The new runewords function just like the old ones: by putting runes in a
certain and precise order in a certain and precise item type with the certain
and precise number of sockets, you greatly upgrade the item in question,
adding a whole bunch of new modifiers and abilities.

You'll soon notice that all 1.11 runewords made from armour are made for a
specific class.

All information concerning the armour runewords this guide uses was taken
directly from Arreat Summit, the Battle.net Diablo II strategy guide. Here's
the specific website address:

 http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/runewords-111.shtml

NOTE: John Steinmetz brought this to my attention: The Blizzard 1.11 patch
      information says that there are ten new runewords this patch. However,
      while this is most probably true, Arreat Summit only gives information on
      seven of them. As such, there are three more which have yet to be
      accounted for. As soon as I get more information, I'll include them in
      this guide.

 Chapter Two: Frequently Asked Questions
==============================================================================*

Q: Are these runewords available only on Ladder?
A: No. No they're not. They work in every mode, meaning Single Player and
   Multiplayer, which includes Open Battle.net and all Realms.

Q: Are the armour runewords reserved for the specific class, or can anyone use
   them?
A: A guy calling himself "Hi Gotec" confirmed that the Treachery runeword can
   be used by Barbarian mercenaries. Logic thus revealed that everyone can use
   them, meaning all classes and all mercenaries can share, enjoy and cherish
   the runewords together.

 Chapter Three: Version Information
==============================================================================*

1.00
 The first version (and most probably final, unless some devoted readers really
 feel the need to contribute). Includes the table of contents, the
 introduction, the runewords and the FAQ chapters, plus the bonus chapter
 entitled Legal Information.

1.10
 Turns out it wasn't the final version. A reader (presumably the only one,
 seeing as no one else bothered e-mailing me) decided to contribute to the FAQ
 by answering a few unanswered questions. Now there is absolutely nothing left
 to add to this guide. Good night.

1.11
 Alas, there is room for improvement. I added a note in the introduction. Read
 it and you'll understand that there will have to be another update at some
 point.

1.20
 Ka-ching! The mystery of the missing runewords has been solved! I added an
 updated note in the introduction, and of course the three newly discovered
 weapon-related runewords, though they didn't come with confirmation from
 Blizzard nor with complete statistics. As such, there will have to be more
 updating.

1.30
 Huh. Turns out those new runewords I talked about weren't exactly new. They
 were apparently available in the 1.10 patch. I deleted all their references,
 as I'm sure you can look elsewhere for that specific information. However,
 the three mysterious runewords that haven't been divulged by Blizzard yet are
 still unknown, so, uh, yeah.

1.31
 I haven't been playing for over a year, but having received an e-mail, I just
 felt it was my sworn duty to include the Plague runeword. I have no idea if it
 will work, and I personally don't care. I also realised that I tend to write a
 lot of unnecessary information, like this Version Information chapter.

1.32
 I recently (i.e. one month ago) received an e-mail Luke DuMoulin. Seems that
 he tested this Plague runeword, and, surprisingly enough, it doesn't work. I
 removed it from the list here, so now you'll never know what it was supposed
 to do. And I promised an emoticon to whoever would send more information, so
 here it is, Luke!:   <:-{}

 Chapter Four: Legal Information

 This is DeeJayTee (formerly known as DiamondDan27) property. Do whatever you
 want with this thing, I really don't care anymore. Well, at least have the
 decency to state that I'm the authour, not you.
