Credits 1. Introduction The world of Corum Online is ever-changing; by that I meant that the designers are tweaking it and changing things every day. New items are created, characters are relocated, etc. You will never know whats being changed until its already been done. As such, this guide will also be ever-changing. As patches are downloaded and installed, my characters will search out how the game has been changed and the guide adjusted accordingly. Most of the patches so far have done little to change actual gameplay, although Im sure such a thing will happen eventually. In fact, the only real change I want to see is the correction of typos. Its quite annoying to find that names of characters have been written differently in the text of some other NPCs. Finally, any input I receive from you, the reader, will be examined and added in if it works. For a guide like this, Im always up for new ideas in regards to content and layout. So keep coming back, you never know whats been changed. 2. Character Creation After selecting which server to play in, you will come to a very nice character selection screen. The Create button is at the bottom of the window on the left- hand side of the screen. For gamers looking to create new characters on the same server (up to 4 in total) click the arrows on either side of the Start button at the bottom of the screen. 2.1 Selecting a class Give your character a name, and then proceed to picking a class. You can choose from six different character classes, or jobs, in the world of Corum. Each class has its own skill tree and statistic lists, and you should choose your characters class in accordance to your own playing habits. Fighters, Priests, and Summoners are all males, while Rangers, Sorceresses, and Arcus are all females. The following information can all be found on the official Corum website, http://corum.gpotato.com 2.1.1 Fighter Origin: Marbeth is a warrior with an Aura force. His Aura force allows fast and strong offensive attacks, but his skills are not suitable for fighting a large number of enemies at once. He does have a skill that attacks many enemies simultaneously, but it is the last stronghold to be used when he reaches the limit. Physical offensive power does not decrease even if the Aura completely vanishes because the Aura force is separate from physical power. Vengeance that comes form losing his loving Dark Elves to the Darthted is the origin of his power that drives him, and his final objective is to destroy Darthted by gaining strength through crystals. Skills: The origin of the fighters force is his Aura. Aura is the same as the oriental concept of Ki. Skills that provide other units with great damage are used by accumulating massive amounts of Ki. Such accumulated flow of Ki (Aura) inside the body is made smooth through hard training. The warriors Aura skill allows the fastest motion speed among all skills and most of his kills do not require any cooldown time. Patience is required when fighting with many enemies since the Aura skill is not suitable for fighting against numerous enemies at once. The power of Aura (AP Aura Point = identical to SP) does not recover naturally and does not recover by the consumption of liquid medicine. It can only be refilled through an Aura Recharge, which is one of the Aura Skills. Recovery speed increases as your skill level increases. The fighter has the highest level of stamina, physical offensive power and defensive power among his class. Basic Stats: EGO 10 STR 30 DEX 15 INT 10 VIT 20 2.1.2 Ranger: Celci, the Ranger of Robentia Origin: This is the ranger who was trained by the Keletic of Robentia. The Lone-Elf race was born through the racial mixture of the Lones and the Elves in Robentia at a time when marriage among different races were strictly prohibited. Because of this, the Elves were driven out to the land of Corum. Now, after 600 years, the ranger is the only female left among the Lone-Elves. She developed the ability to channel Chakra (energy). The ranger is not only skilled at fighting, but she also excelled at human skills (tracking, concealment, poisoning, assassination, etc.) which require the use of Chakra. Chakra is not only a force for human skills but it is also the origin of her physical force. The strength of the Chakra can be demonstrated when fighting against many enemies and a small number of strong enemies. The only drawback is that she does not have a lot of stamina because she loses power as she uses her Chakra. Her will to search for the crystals is to follow the will of the Keletic, her father and teacher. Skills: The ranger has the highest offensive accuracy and evasion skills of any class. She has high physical offensive and defensive power and skills that require the use of Chakra. The series of skills that use Chakra are mainly ninja skills such as concealment and poisoning. Also mimicking the skills of other classes is one of the rangers specialties. Chakra is the origin of the rangers force. The force of Chakra is released when the Kundalinis in a humans body are opened. The ranger uses powerful skills through the force of this Chakra. The amount of Chakra affects the use of the skill and it also determines the physical offensive and defensive power. This means that physical offensive and defensive power increases when there is more Chakra and physical offensive and defensive power decreases when Chakra runs out. Defensive power and HP is lower than a fighters but offensive power exceeds that of the fighter when there is a large amount of Chakra. Basic Stats: EGO 20 STR 15 DEX 25 INT 10 VIT 15 2.1.3 Sorceress: Ella, the Wizard of Evia Origin: Dynamis are the only ones in Evia who know about both faces of good and evil. They patrol the skies of Evia to look out for Darthted intrusions and they command in the front lines during battles against Darthted. The source of her force is Mana. This force comes from controlling and exploding Mana mixed with nature. It is suitable for fighting against a large number of enemies at once. She is not suitable for fighting against a small number of fast and strong enemies because there is a delay (cooldown) once a spell is cast. Darthted will forever be an enemy to her because she has been fighting against them for the longest time and she will continue to do so. Skills: The Sorceress force of Mana comes from nature and it can do damage to numerous enemies. The stronger the spell, the longer the casting and cooldown time will be. It is important that there is somebody there to protect the Sorceress during her casting time. A high-level Sorceress can protect herself against many enemies because she has the ability to cast many different spells simultaneously. This means she can fight against enemies using her faster casting low-level spells while she chants for a stronger spell. When many spells are cast at once, the power of Mana drains at a faster rate. The power of Mana for the Sorceress recovers over time and the recovery speed can be faster based on the items or skills that are used. Mana regeneration can be slower due to curses. Basic Stats: EGO 25 STR 10 DEX 5 INT 35 VIT 10 Notes: The Sorceress has three elemental attacks to pick from when she starts; new players should pick one and stay with it. Only if you are well experienced in the game should you try to make it through the game with all three elements. The Sorceress has the Passive ability to increase the power of the three elements, so by choosing one type over the others, and also increasing the Passive ability associated with it, those spells can cause massive damage. 2.1.4 Priest: Ishuma, the Priest of Corum Origin: His holy power seals the power of magic, releases curses, increases the power of other characters and it can also destroy the power of a curse. He also has some decent combat skills. The holy vessel division that put him on the crystal recovery mission believes that he is Mareut Sao Saint. He was the one who people predicted would come back at the end of the second century. Ishuma has the initials MA carved into his back which can mean Maitreya (or Mahavira), but it can also be Mahakala. Kala means death and he is also the god of great destruction that can bring the world to an end. Skills: The source of the priests power is the infinite religious power that comes from Gaia. He usually plays the role of assisting other classes through the power of divine protection, but he can also protect himself because he has the third strongest physical combat strength falling behind the fighter and the ranger. For the priests divine skills, there are many abilities that become activated once they have been selected, which means that most divine skills do not use any skill points (SP). Because of this, if there is a priest who is not determined to train for the skills of other classes, not many bonus points will need to be distributed into INT. Due to the characteristics of this class, the effects of divine protection are strongest because the connection with Gaia is very strong and the friendship level with Gaia rapidly increases. The diving protection of Gaia approaches slowly but irresistibly. The divine active skill does not use SP but the overdrive of the divine system uses it just like skills of other classes. The priest will probably be a character that requires a lot of thinking as to how he should be raised. The divine skill of the Priest has the power to increase valuable buffs that are important in combat such as recovery, protection, offensive and defensive power, offensive success ratio, and evasion ratio. These benefits make the Priest essential to any party. The overdrive skill of the Priest has the power of sealing a monsters power or the magical power of other characters. He is very effective in locking core members of the opposing factions fighters during party wars or guild wars. The power of the Priests magic attack cancellation through absolute magic defense is extremely effective against eh Sorceress who relies mostly on skills. Basic Stats: EGO 10 STR 20 DEX 15 INT - 20 VIT 20 Notes: When picking skills, it is important to decide straight away whether or not you will be playing the game as a member of a party, or solo. The Priests skills are divided between the two strategies, and it is hard to have an effect character if you are putting stats into every skill. 2.1.5 Summoner: Cyon, the Summoner of Darthted Origin: He has the characteristics and the power of a Dark Elf, but it is unknown whether he is a Dark Elf because nobody among the Dark Elf race know him. He has the ability to harness the force of Prana, which he uses to summon creatures form the other worlds and also has the power to get into a monsters head to confuse or completely control it. He is hardly ever influenced by the other worlds. Nothing is known about his objective. Skills: The Summoner can tame a monster and use it as a subordinate, but there is a limit to how many monsters he can have under his control at a time. Once the summoner reaches the limit of creatures that he can control, if he were to summon another one, the first creature that was tamed will be released. In order to prevent this, there needs to be a summons contract with the monster so that when it is no longer needed, it be moved to the other world. Once a summons contract is made, the monster can be summoned whenever and wherever the summoner is located. If the summoning power of a summoner reaches the extreme, then characters from other servers can also be summoned. The Summoner is the only character who can charm more than one guardian at a time. Basic Stats: EGO 15 STR 10 DEX 10 INT 25 VIT 25 2.1.6 Arcus: Arcus, the Hidden Hunter of the Land Origin: There are many who know about the legendary fighter Marbeth, the ranger Celci, the priest Ishuma, and the summoner Cyon, but there are few who know about this hero. Pluvius, the only hero to ever so quickly and accurately shoot silver arrows like beams of light blazing away form the bow in dark silence Skills: Arcus is the only character capable of long range attacks through the use of bows and crossbows. Since Arcus was able to survive by using habits of nature, she knows how to manage groups of monsters. This unique skill is better than any other class. She not only controls the monsters, but she also has a strong sense of camaraderie with them. She has the ability to feed monsters skills and herbs which can make the monster do many things for her. She is the only character that uses the power source known as Windy, which is the ability to control wind. The ability to control wind can only be granted by the fairies in the land of Corum because they control the wind throughout the land. Since wind control skills are given to people who are friendly with the fairies, it is important to keep the fairies under control. Basic Stats: EGO 15 STR 20 DEX 35 INT 5 VIT 10 Notes: The Arcus sucks. Thats it. Dont pick Arcus unless you want a really big challenge. The only skill you can use for the first 15 levels is a healing power. After that, you get a spell than increases movement speed for a time. That goes on for another ten levels before you get anything good. Im serious here, the Arcus isnt worth your time. Even Priests are better, and thats saying a lot. 2.2 Hairstyles The only other customizable option for your character is their hairstyle. The styles vary depending on the gender, with the male hairdos shorter and the females longer and with pigtails and whatnot. You can find the Change button right underneath the section of the window where it details your characters race. There are roughly a dozen male styles and two dozen female styles to choose from. 2.3 Choosing your starting point The only thing left to do is choose where you want to start your journey from. There are two options available; the city of Ludilos or the city of Idha. While you can find quests in both of these locations, starting characters can only access the ones in Ludilos. Also, some of the Idha quests can only be given after completing ones given in Ludilos. That having been said, make sure the Ludilos icon is selected, then activate your character by pressing the Start button on the screen. 3. Onward To Adventure! You appear in your starting city of choice, which should be Ludilos. This is the official entrance point, where your character will appear when you enter the village from the world map. To the left of your character you will see your first Help window, things that appear whenever you do something new. The first Help instructs on how to move. Simply click on your destination, and your character will run or walk to that location. It also explains that you can talk to and purchase items from other characters. Thats all explained to you in-game, so I wont repeat anything more here, except to detail some of the keyboard shortcuts. To get to the character information screen, press A. S brings you to the skills page, while pressing either T or I will bring up your inventory. The options network, activated by pressingcan you guess? The letter O. Yeah, thats right, the most obvious letter for options. The options menu is pretty easy to navigate, simply because you probably wont ever use it for anything other than ending the game. At the top are the Music and Background Sound Effects menus, which control the volume of each, and all the stuff in the middle is practically useless. You can change the amount of text lines you see during game play when receiving messages or having conversations, as well as view Guild specifications when you end up joining one. The only other things you need to know about are item and skill hotkeys. These are different from the menu keys, as they will affect game play immediately. At the bottom right, below the SP bar, you will see 8 blank squares. When you find items during your travels through dungeons, you will pick up several items, like potions. If you bring up your inventory menu and drag a potion to one of those slots, you will be able to use that item by pressing the corresponding number on your keyboard. The numbers of course are from 1 8. The skills hotkeys are slightly more complicated. In order to use them, you need to have several skills mastered, and if you are just starting the game, you dont have any at all. Bring up your Skills window (press S or the Skill tab above your HP bar) and upgrade one of your skills. Underneath your HP bar you will see 4 squares, one of them with a sword and the other three blank. The sword corresponds to your basic attack, and the left mouse button. For those who dont understand, click the left mouse button on an enemy and you will attack them with whatever weapon you have equipped. The middle two squares dont do anything, but the one on the far right is attached to the right mouse button, and you can attach skills to that area. Merely click on the empty square to bring up a list of all the skills you have any level of mastery with. You should only have one appear, so click on it to activate that skill. From here on out, everything will be explained as you come across it in the various quests and random dungeon wanderings. This guide is being constantly upgraded, however, and if you have any suggestions on a better way to describe something, feel free to email me. My contact information can be found on my contributor page on GameFAQs. 3.1 Shops This area will probably end up being useless, but I thought Id put it in because Im extremely bored and really, you Quests Instead of dividing this guide up by village, Ill be listing by quests. This way you can follow the game as it was programmed, although if you want your character to follow a different path, all quests come with descriptions on how to find the quest giver and any other information youll need to know. 4.1 Beginning of an Adventure ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 1: Beginning of an Adventure Requirements: None Location: Ludilos NPC: Roco ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ludilos should be your starting town, and if so, this will be the first quest you can get. Look on your mini-map for a yellow dot near the bottom right. That is not Roco. Instead, from the yellow dot, look up and slightly to the right to find a purple dot all alone. THAT is Roco. There are several paths you can take, so just follow your instincts. It isnt hard. When you see Roco, hell have a thought bubble coming out of his head with a crying face and the word Help! being yelled. This sign comes up whenever you can get a quest from someone, whether it be starting the quest of getting the next step in a quest you are already working through. Roco is a weapons dealer, so if you want to buy a new weapon for your character, you can do so here. The short sword you start off with (or the Ireluna Bow, if youre an Arcus) is enough for a beginning character. Then again, you dont have any money, so you cant buy anything anyways. Click on Roco when your cursor turns into a speech bubble, and click the Quest tab to start the Beginning of an Adventure quest. Roco says: Im trying to find a real professional. Maybe youll do Can you kill 10 Sting Heads and 6 Cavemen within the dungeon of Cheshuka? Think of it as a test. The Sting Heads shouldnt be much of a problem. They are the lowest of lowbies in all the land. Cavemen on the other hand, have a really strong fellowship. They work together in groups, so be careful. Rewards: 100 EXP, 500 Karz EXP is self-explanatory, especially if youve already played any type of RPG before. Karz is the currency in Corum Online, and you start off with none. You dont have to read what Roco tells you; when you accept the quest, you get a summary of what youre supposed to do, which in this case, is to kill some monsters. Its really, really easy. From here on, all you have to do is find your way to Cheshuka and kill some stupid little monster guys. There are two ways to leave any area, whether village or dungeon. You can either find the glowing blue exit portals, or use a shortcut through the options menu. Bring up the menu (press O or click on the hammer icon by your SP bar), click on Game Over, and then go to Move to World Map. The other options are obvious, and really the only other one youll use is Quit to Desktop, as that is the only way to quit the game. Beside the options icon is a picture of a book, which is your Journal. This window has all the information you need about the quests you are on, and can be brought up by the Q key on your keyboard. Refer to this if you ever forget what youre supposed to do or where you need to go. Once you leave Ludilos, youll be on the world map. Navigation is the same on here as in villages and dungeons, but you wont see other players moving around. You also wont get into any fights, so dont worry about being killed if you need to run to the bathroom or something. Cheshuka is the giant forest south of Ludilos. Click roughly in the middle, and your character will run into the forest. When prompted, click Confirm to enter the dungeon. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Area: Cheshuka Floors: 5 Min Level: 1 Max Level: 35 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chesuka is the beginner dungeon. Youll find the lowest level monsters on the first floor, and of the four varieties youll find only one will attack you on sight. Even then, its a random occurrence. Here is also the first place where youll want to use the Rest command. Rest makes your character sit down on the ground to, well, rest. HP and SP regenerate slowly as you play, but regeneration is doubled while resting, so if you need to increase health fast and you either dont have or dont want to use your potions, Resting is the answer. You can either click the Rest icon on the far right of your screen, or press the J button. Heres a little warning; when you rest, your resistance to Physical and Elemental damage decreases by 75%, into the negatives if you dont have enough resistance to counter it. Remember that if youre resting around monsters that might attack you. Sting Heads appear right in front of you, and have very little health. As level 1 monsters, they are the lowest of the lowbies as Roco said. They give 10 EXP, so killing 8 of them will level you up. Kill 2 more, then head south or east for a few seconds to find Cavemen. These guys are harder to beat. At level 2, they have just a little more HP, attack, etc. They also work in groups, again as Roco warned. If there is a second Caveman around when you attack the first, it will come to the aid of its brethren. This area is also home to the level 3 monsters, Giant Scorpions. You dont have to attack them, and they wont come after you, so ignore them while focusing on the 6 Cavemen you need to complete this part of the quest. Aside from having to face multiple enemies when trying to kill the Cavemen, the difficulty shouldnt be too hard. Just concentrate on having one enemy in front of you, and keep an eye on your health. Most enemies will drop a Potion when killed, as well as Karz. And remember to Rest if you need to. When an enemy is killed, it will almost always drop Karz, and sometimes and item. You can pick things up by clicking on them, or move close to a bunch of items and press the Space Bar to grab a lot of things. If you have a lot of items, it might not be good to grab everything, but if you want to grab some Karz while running, just press Space to pick it up. Also, you can toggle between running and walking by pressing the R button. Karz and Potions arent the only dropped items. You can also get items called Cases, which you can sell at any store. You might also find an item called Weapon Upgrade 1, which well talk about more later on. If youre lucky, youll get a Taurus Zodiac Card, but you wont be able to use it for quite a long time, so ignore them for now. When you are done, head back to Roco to report. Roco has a giant smiley face hovering around his head that says Thanks! When you see that, you know that youve completed all the requirements of the quest. Talk to Roco to hear that while hes happy to see you, he hasnt been exactly trustworthy. Roco says: Great job. You are quite skillful. Actually, the one looking for brave soldiers is Terion the Armor shop owner. Go see Terion. Thats the end of this part of the quest, and youll get the promised EXP and Karz. Youll also level up a second time. Youll also receive the item Recom Roco, a recommendation that will allow you to head on to the next part of the quest. Distribute your stat and skill points, then head over to Terion. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 2: Skyruth Location: Ludilos NPC: Terion ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Terion is significantly easier to find than Roco was. Not only is he one of two yellow dots on the mini-map, hes not the one right by Roco; that means hes located directly above where you appear when you enter Ludilos. Head over to the Protector and talk to him to activate his part of the quest. Terion says: I make the best armor here in Ludilos village. The recent increase in monster activity has been making it increasingly difficult to attain proper materials. I really need two things to make the Skyruth someone ordered a few days backTo make a Skyruth, I need 5 Skyruth Journals, and 5 Skyruth Garros. Whats a Skyruth? It is of no concern to you Rewards: 200 EXP, 600 Karz So, while we dont know why were gathering these items, we do know that were getting more rewards. After accepting, we find out that the Journals and Garros can be found from Giant Scorpions and Mimics, which can be found in Cheshuka. Lets head out. We only need 10 items in total, which should mean that we only have to kill 5 of each monster, right? If you agreed with me, then you dont win the prize. There is no guarantee that a monster will drop anything at all, never mind dropping the item that you need. You could kill 25 Giant Scorpions and not see a single Skyruth Journal, only to kill 5 more and get the 5 Journals that you need. This is a situation that occurs regularly in Corum Online, so youd best get used to it. Giant Scorpions can be found just a little farther along the path from where you first encountered the Cavemen, and Mimics a little farther along from there. I recommend going after the Scorpions first, and getting the Journals as well as experience, because the Mimics are at level 5, 2 levels higher than your character unless youve been leveling up without my knowing. Watch your health, as the Scorpions do much more damage than the Cavemen. The funny thing about Giant Scorpions is that they somehow have the ability to talk. When you kill them, youll see them say: Taking my treasureWontBeEasy. Its kind of ironic, seeing as youve already killed it when the Scorpion gives his message. There are several monsters who speak, including the Mimics well fight later on. They each say something funny, if you can appreciate the stupid humor. Aside from Skyruth Journals, Giant Scorpions might also drop a Training Sword. While this might sound like a useless item, it actually does more damage then the Short Sword you started off with (unless youre an Arcus; then you cant use it at all). The Short Sword only does 1~3 damage, while the Training Sword deals out 3~5. It doesnt seem like much, but it does wonders at low levels. You can also find Armor Upgrades and Liquids (sometimes even a rare Super Liquid), but as with the Weapon Upgrade, youll learn about them later. After taking out as many Scorpions as you need to, head further along the path to get to the treasure chest monsters, Mimics. Aah! Let me Live, Ill give you everything I have! Again, youve already killed it, how can it beg for mercy? Grab 5 of the Garros and head back to Terion with your bounty. Terion is quite happy. Terion says: Wow! You got all that for me? Thank you! People say Roco wants to ask you something. Youll get your reward, and hell take the items you collected. Youll also get a nice piece or armor. Hooray for you! The armor is the first in a series of 4 items, and as you collect more, the items give better stat increases. But only when they are all equipped at the same time. Armor Reward: Fighter: Terions Spectrum Plate HP +3 Ranger: Terions Dark Armor Avoidability +50 Sorceress: Terions Feather Kanity SP +30 Priest: Terions Brave Howl Attack Accuracy +50 Summoner: Terions Tear Bliaud SP +30 Arcus: Sharkskin Armor Avoidability +50 Apparently, Roco is looking for you, so lets head back over to his side of Ludilos. You do remember where he is, dont you? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 3: Ludilos Crisis Location: Ludilos NPC: Roco ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just looking at the name of the quest, and you know that something bad has happened. Lets here what Roco has to say. Roco says: Please make sure you keep this a secret. If the people in the village knew about this, they would go into a frenzy. A group of kids went to the first floor of Cheshuka and have been gone for a few days now. I sent soldiers to Cheshuka to bring them back. But they found nothing The children, and more importantly Ludilos, may be in danger. Please go investigate the first floor of Cheshuka. Well isnt that just quaint? A bunch of little kids went missing. And you have to go kill 10 Wights and investigate the Old Tree. Lets head back to Cheshuka. Now you get to learn a little bit more about the mini-map. You see that little blue triangle? That denotes a passage down one level. When you are on the ground floor, it sends you to the world map. Now, see that little red triangle, which in Cheshuka is in the top right? That means a passage up one level. And since we want to be on the first floor of Cheshuka, that little red triangle becomes our next destination. The first floor is entirely different from the ground floor. Not only do you know have to face Wights and Otyughs, but the layout is also different. Youll find that this happens in all dungeons; each floor is different. I know, you probably figured that out already, but I like annoying you >:D The Wights are the zombie dudes with a ball and chain dragging behind them. Kill 10 of them, then investigate the Old Tree. Of, if you wanted, you could do it in any order, it doesnt really matter. The tree just asked who you are, and doesnt actually do anything else. Head back to Roco and give him your information. Roco says: You are OK!! I was worried after sending [character name] off on the quest. Oh thank goodness, Im so relieved to see you again. Congrats on a job well done. Reward: 300 EXP, 800 Karz Thats one more quest down, but Roco immediately asks you to undergo one more. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 4: Death of the Big Pumpkin Location: Ludilos NPC: Roco ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Roco says: Big Pumpkin is very tricky and violent. He sometimes comes to the village and causes trouble. Big Pumpkin is so elusive, it will not be easy to find him. There is, however, one way to get to him. It is very dangerous, though. Reward: 900 EXP, 1200 Karz Whoo-hooo! Big money this time! This is definitely worth it, so lets head back to Cheshukas first floor and get ready to kill that grease ball! The other enemies on this floor are Otyughs, which we ignored earlier. At level 6, they are the strongest enemies youve faced, unless you count the Sword Cavemen which weve also ignored. But you should be level 5 or 6 yourself, so you shouldnt have that much trouble. Keep killing them until you get an item called the Swear of Allegiance. You might want to get two. Or three, actually. You see, with these kinds of battles, involving summoning bosses, other characters will come in and steal your kills, making you have to start all over again. In order to prevent this, get two or three of the required items, and if you get the kill on the first time, you can get rid of your other items or summon the boss for others. Just watch out for kill stealers, theyll piss you off big time. Big Pumpkin is pretty big, but as long as you stay out of his way, you wont have to worry that much about him attacking you. He is level 7, so if you want you can level up a bit before you summon him. Of course, you probably leveled up once or twice while trying to find a Swear of Allegiance, right? Hell take a while to kill, unless youre really strong, but hold out, youll get him eventually. Some gamers say that the Big Pumpkin sometimes doesnt drop his eye. That does occasionally happen, but not enough to make it a huge nuisance. Its just like a Kill Steal, really. When Big Pumpkin is done for, grab his Eye and head back to Roco. Roco says: Oh my god! You have what it takes to become a true hero. Thank you very much! Big Pumpkins Eyeball will be a great help in preventing others from trying something stupid. When you equip the weapon, which should be the most powerful you have access to, youll not only get the items boost, but a bonus upgrade if you also have the armor equipped. The bonus will improve your highest stat by 4, on top of the 10 you received from the weapon. Weapon Reward: Figher: Locos Spectrum Cutlrus STR +10 Ranger: Locos Dark Talon DEX +10 Sorceress: Locos Feather Staff EGO +10 Priest: Locos Brave Mace VIT +10 Summoner: Orb of Locos Tear INT +10 Arcus: Shark Bow DEX +10 Umwho is Loco? Didnt we just get this item from Roco? Ah, the blunders of typing. Hopefully the designers will catch this flaw and correct it in one of the next patches. Get rid of your Short Sword, or whatever weapon you bought/found, because this weapon is the best you can get right now. Unless youve waited until level 50+ to do this quest. My point is, you probably dont have a better weapon, so sell the one you have. Youre done this branch of quests, so Roco wont give you anything else. If you havent already, go see Ferian and do his quests. If youve completed those as well, then there are no more quests for you in Ludilos right now. So unless you want to spend a very long time leveling up so that you can get the next quest, you can head to the village of Idha and do some quests over there. When you start the game, your inventory consists of a Short Sword, 20 Potions, and two Town Scrolls, one for Ludilos and one for Idha. They work just the same as Aquarius cards, which youll learn about in Ferians quests. Just right click to activate the scroll. You can save the Ludilos scroll indefinitely, since you will be able to warp nearby. Activate the scroll, and youll appear in Idha. 4.2 Zeda and Zodiac Card ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 1: Ferians Forgetfulness Requirements: None Location: Ludilos NPC: Ferian ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ferian is a plump Protector south of Roco. Hes the yellow dot we used earlier to find Roco. He looks more like a dwarf than anything else, and hes got a memory that, frankly, sucks. Ferian says: I rarely get Aquarius and Gemini Zodiac Cards from Sherry whenever I go to dungeon. I cant find them. I need to find them now. But I dont have a clue where I left them. Not only does he have a poor memory, he doesnt even know how to speak proper English. Basically, he bought two cards from Sherry and lost them, but now he needs them. There are two ways to go about getting his cards; you can either fight monsters in Cheshuka until you find them, or you can buy him a new set from Sherry for 1500 Karz. If anyone knows where to find the cards other than from Miscellaneous shops, then please contact me. I have yet to find either card as a monster drop, only from Sherry and other Misc. shops. Grab the cards from Sherry and bring them back to Ferian. Ferian says: You got it! I waited a long time for this, thank you very much. Reward: 200 EXP, 400 Karz ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 2: Zodiac Card-1 Location: Ludilos NPC: Ferian ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ferian says: Sorry but I found all the cards. Oh, dont be so mad. But the problem is now using them. Talk to Zeda in Luksumar, she knows how to use them. Bring her these gloves as well. Luksumar is located to the east of Ludilos; its the strange skull building thing with two giant pillars of fire coming out the top. It looks pretty imposing, but its really anything but. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Area: Luksumar Floors: 5 Min Level: 3 Max Level: 35 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Youll find more Sting Heads and Cavemen on the ground floor here, as well as a new enemy, the Smashing Pumpkin. Its just a smaller, yet higher level version of the Big Pumpkin you fought in Part 4 of the Beginning of an Adventure quest. These guys are quite a bit easier, despite being two levels higher. If you havent done the other quest, then ignore everything I just said. Zeda isnt that hard to locate, if you know where to look. The ground floor has ten circular areas, each separated by a small corridor. You appear in the bottom-most area, and the other nine appear in a grid. Zeda is in the bottom right of that grid, in roughly the middle of the area. Zeda is supposed to be a woman. She looks more like the dwarf from The Lord of the Rings. Talk to herhimwhatever, to complete the quest. Zeda says: Hmm, to think something like that would happen. You went through a lot. Rewards: 600 EXP, 750 Karz ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 3: Zodiac Card-2 Location: Luksumar NPC: Zeda ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zeda says: A Gemini Zodiac Card saves a location that you want to remember, while the Aquarius card allows you to move to your saved location. Right-click the Gemini Zodiac Card to save your current location. As for where you actually save, it doesnt matter all that much, but you should consider your location. You will have to see Zeda again during other quests, so it is a good idea to save near to her. However, you will end up having to warp across the continent several times, and it might be easier to have the warp closer to the exit in order to quickly make your way to Ludilos. Whatever you decision, save the co-ordinates and then head back to Ferian. Ferian says: It mustve been a tough quest. After talking to me, go back to where Zeda was and right click on the Gemini Zodiac Card that you used. Then it will go back to Zeda. Rewards: 600 EXP, 750 Karz Thats the end of this part of the quest. Head over to Zeda, but you dont have to use your Zodiac card if you dont want to. In fact, it might be better for you financially not to waste the card just yet. Youll need them later. So for now, walk over to Luksumar and talk to Zeda. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 4: Sword Cavemen and the Yellow Bijous Location: Luksumar NPC: Zeda ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What any of this has to Zodiac Cards and warping around the globe I have no idea, but lets find out what Zeda has to say. Zeda says: You can get lots of materials for accessories like rings in Luksumar. I wanted a yellow bijou from the first floor a long time ago. I now know it can be found only from the bodies of Caveman Warriors. So I attempted to kill some. Since they work in large groups, I was unable to attain them. Rewards: 1800 EXP, 3500 Karz All you need to do is collect 10 Yellow Bijous from the broken and bloodied bodies of Sword Cavemen. Which is strange since Zeda said Caveman Warrior. Once again, we see that some people dont know what theyre talking about. The second floor is home to the Sword Cavemen, but there are also Giant Ants and Harpys. The Ants will attack you when they see you, but the Harpys will pretty much leave you alone. If youre having trouble staying alive, go back down to the ground floor and kill some Smashing Pumpkins to level up. If you can take out a few Giant Ants on the way, youll be set; they give out 70 EXP, which is the best youll get until you are strong enough to take out the level 23 Harpys that wander around. When youre ready, go grab the items you need, and when you have them, head back to Zeda. Zeda says: Ooh thats it! Haha, you are something else! I cant quite put my finger on it, but cant you feel a supernatural power? Hang on a minute, let me give you this ring to celebrate the occasion. Youll get the reward, as well as the third item in your set, a ring. Itll give you its own boost, plus a bonus of +15 Movement Speed if the other two items you have are equipped. Ring Reward: Fighter: Zedas Spectrum Ring HP Recovery Power +7 Ranger: Zedas Dark Ring HP Recovery Power +7 Sorceress: Zedas Feather Ring SP Recovery Power +7 Priest: Zedas Brave Ring SP Recovery Power +7 Summoner: Zedas Tear Ring SP Recovery Power +7 Arcus: Zedas Ring of the Dead Shot HP Recovery Power +7 Youre done this branch of quests, so Ferian wont give you anything else. If you havent already, go see Roco and do his quests. They work just the same as Aquarius cards; just right click to activate. You can save the Ludilos scroll indefinitely, since you have a Gemini card with co-ordinates for Luksumar. You can warp to the dungeon, then head to the village. Activate the scroll, and youll appear in Idha. 4.3 Test of Storms There arent as many people in Idha, as youll find. Thats because not a lot of people like to come here. It also means you dont have to try and thread your way through a bunch of people trying to sell items at outrageous prices. If you are level 5 or higher (and if youve done all the quests in Ludilos you should be at least level 10) then go see a guy named Storm. Just walk forward, youll see him in now time. If youre using your mini-map, hes a yellow dot. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 1: Storms Trial Requirements: Level 5 Location: Idha NPC: Storm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Storm says: You know Zeda? How do you know him? I dont think Zeda would be friends with someone like you Well If Im wrong, Im just wrong. You dont need to be mad. I cant help doubting you. Humm Lets see how tough you really are. Feel up to the task? Okay, so maybe Zeda is a man after all. Either way, Storm doesnt really trust you, so we have to do an errand for him. Storm says: Journey to the west from here. There lies the Ishutani. On the second floor, you will find Hungry Ghouls. By slaying these monstrosities, you can attain their teeth. Please find 15 and bring them to me. Wow, thats not hard. Its just another collection quest, so lets get on with it. Ishutani is literally right beside Idha. You cant miss it. You are in the middle of the screen, Idha is to the right, and Ishutani to your right. Its just that easy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Area: Ishutani Floors: 5 Min Level: 1 Max Level: 35 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ishutani bears a striking resemblance to Luksumar. Thats because the layouts are exactly the same. Yeah. Storm said second floor, which means second floor from the ground level. Youll need to push your way through the same baddies you fought on the second level of Cheshuka. Its pretty crazy, I know. The Hungry Ghouls youre supposed to find are actually called Hungry Ghosts. They also like claiming that theyre human when you kill them. Grab 15 Ghoul Teeth, then head back to Storm in Idha. Storm says: You sound like someone who knows Zeda. Anyways, good job. Wow, thatsgood, I think. Youll get 1000 EXP and 2000 Karz for completing the quest, and the option to start another. Lets go ahead and check it out. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 2: Reinforcing the equipment-1 Location: Idha NPC: Storm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Storm says: You got me 15 teeth of Hungry Ghouls. Let me tell you something that might help you. When you strengthen your protector, the protector itself gets stronger. You can also add some special functions to your protector by using magic power. But there is a limit. Also, if you do something wrong while strengthening, you can lose everything. Accept the quest, and read the summary to discover that you need an upgrade scroll. In reality, you dont need anything at all. Just talk to Storm again and hell tell you some stuff. Storm says: For starters, I need the Armor that needs reinforcing, Armor Reinforcing Scroll, and Liquid. If you have any additions that you earned from fighting monsters, additional special abilities can be infused. So are you ready? For strengthening weapons, ask Kai over there. Youll get 500 EXP and 1000 Karz for this one, and a referral to Kai, who is on the other side of the road from you. You can see him south from Storm. Youll also suddenly see the window for strengthening weapons. If you want you can try it out, but its really not worth the time and effort, unless you still have a Short Sword or Training Sword in your inventory. If you want, try out the upgrades. You might find something you like, but the items in whatever Set your character has are the best you can get right now. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 3: Reinforcing the Equipment-2 Location: Idha NPC: Kai ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kai says: Youre not trying to strengthen the weapons I made, are you? I put my soul into those weapons when I made them. When you strengthen your weapon, the weapon itself gets stronger. And you can also add some special functions to your weapon by using magic power. But there is a limit. Also, if you do something wrong while strengthening, you can lose everything. Once again, you dont need any items. Kai says: Youve brought everything as instructed. Since I learned armor reinforcement from Storm, it should be easy. Use the same method to reinforce armors. You can only use weapon type addition, and you should wear the necklace. You get another 500 and 1000, plus the fourth and final item for the item set, an amulet. You get two bonus upgrades this time; all your skills get 1 extra point added to them, and your resistance to physical damage increases by 5%. Amulet Rewards: Fighter: Kais Spectrum Amulet SP +20; Flame Resistance Power +15% Ranger: Kais Dark Amulet SP +20; Electricity Resistance Power +15% Sorceress: Kais Feather Amulet SP +20; Ice Resistance Power +15% Priest: Kais Brave Amulet SP +20; Flame Resistance Power +15% Summoner: Kais Tear Amulet SP +20; Ice Resistance Power +15% Arcus: Kais Shark Amulet SP +20; Electricity Resistance Power +15% 4.4 Searching for ancient remains The second Idha quest is available from Yuri, the female Misc. shop owner. You can find her just a little north from Storm. Shes the blue dot on your mini- map. If you havent completed Storms set of quests and gotten the Amulet from the first item set, do so now. Completing Yuris quest will take you back to Ludilos, and you wont be coming back for some time. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 1: Unidentifiable Parchment Requirements: Level 10 Location: Idha NPC: Yuri ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yuri says: I am so irritated today!!! I sold one thing to this guy. He gave me this unrecognizable parchment for it instead of money. He said once I understand the message on this parchment, Id become rich. Maybe I took his words for granted Well, Ive got this parchment, so I might as well try to find out what it says. I think Ferian may be able to interpret it. Could you bring it to him? Rewards: 2000 EXP, 4200 Karz Wow, someone has an anger problem. And now you need to go all the way back to Ludilos. If you havent already, go see Storm and do his quests. That way this trip wouldnt have been a complete waste. Before you use your Ludilos scroll, buy another set of warping Zodiac Cards from Yuri. (She yells at us then takes our money? Yeesh!) Head to Ishutani, or any of the dungeons you want, and save the co-ordinates. Now you wont have to try and find another scroll to warp back to Idha, or cross overland. Believe me, you arent strong enough to go through the passage dungeons just yet. I assume you remember where Ferian is? Good. Ferian says: Hmm, you look familiar.. Can I help you with something? Yuri sent you? Youll lose both the parchment and Yuris letter, but youll get all that lovely EXP and Karz from him. Youll also get to take on the next portion of this quest. This is the first quest that extends longer than four parts. Most of the quests from here on out have 6+ parts. But hey, the more the merrier, right? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 2: Deciphering the Ancient Parchment-1 Location: Ludilos NPC: Ferian ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ferian says: Im sure this parchment was not made by conventional means. There were so many different languages being written at that time. So I cant tell you how to interpret this parchment. I have an idea though. I havent seen anything this interesting for a while. I need the poison from Coronas feelers and the horns from Erighols to make out whatever is written on this parchment. If you havent figured it out by now, the quests in this game are pretty much all about fetching certain items, or killing over-sized monsters. You can find both Coronas and Erighols in Luksumar, on the second floor from ground level. In fact, do you remember where you got the Ghoul Teeth for Storm? Go to the same place, except in Luksumar and not Ishutani. Coronas look like jellyfish. They float through the air real slow, and have a slow attack speed. Really, theyre just slow. Kill enough to get 5 of their feelers. Youll also meet Chickers, flying annoyances just like the Giant Ants, and Skeleton Bats, which are very strong and should not be attacked by lone characters unless youre close to level 20. The Erighols are a different matter entirely. They are big, mean, level 21, and have spikes instead of hands. Theyre also found on the next floor up, surrounded by nice guys called Giant Skeletons, and theyre at level 33. You might even see a Lich or two, at level 29. Up here on the third floor is crazy, and youd better be prepared. If and when you finally manage to gather 5 Feelers and 5 Horns, get your butt back to Ferian. Ferian says: Huff, huff, you came back! After you left, I found some information on deciphering methods. What you found will be very useful. Rewards: 4000 EXP, 7000 Karz ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 3: Deciphering the Ancient Parchment-2 Location: Ludilos NPC: Ferian ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ferian says: Turns out this was made in a much more complicated way than I had originally thought. It was made in a way that is not traditional to the land of Corum. I do not think I can translate the message with what youve brought me thus far. I think I need some Skeleton Bat Eyes to read this parchment. Would you please go get them for me? Youre going to need 10 of them, and since we already know where Skeleton Bats areyou dont really need me to spell it out for you, right? Of course, it will be a lot easier if you head instead to Kilent, the forest north of Ludilos. Skeleton Bats are on the ground floor, and there are also some Amemaits that you can level up on. Oh, and there are no annoying Chickers here either. When youve got the 10 Eyes, come back to Ferian. Now, sooner than later, youll reach level 20. Not exactly a big achievement in a game where you can reach level 255, but there is something you should know. After level 20, any time you get killed by a monster, you will lose experience. Its not that much, but if youve just leveled up, and died after gaining another 100 EXP, youll lose that EXP and have to start over from the beginning of the level. Youll never lose levels, but it can be a pain to lose that hard- earned EXP because of a stupid little Giant Ant. Keep that in mind from now on, and especially if youre at level 20 and trying to kill the Skeleton Bats. Also, when you hit level 20, you start getting 6 stat points each time you level up instead of the usual 5. Ferian says: Huff, huff, you came back! Thanks to your efforts, I should be able to decipher it, hang on just a minute Well, it looks like our adventure is over. Now we get to find out whats really on that parchment. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 4: Zedas Assistance Location: Ludilos NPC: Ferian ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Maybe were not done after all. Ferian says: I was finally able to interpret it! And its all thanks to you. But stillthe message is not easy to understand. This combination of letters is not common. I think we need Zedas help. Zeda knows a lot about the ancient languages. We should show him this. And now we get to go reacquaint ourselves with yet another old friend, Zeda. I hope you remember where in Luksumar he is. It shouldnt be hard, especially if you used the first Gemini Card right beside him. You can just warp if youd like, although its a waste of a good Aquarius Card. Zeda says: Long time no see what can I help you with? And thats the end! Of this part of the quest. You didnt think it would be that easy, did you? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 5: Preta Chiefs Raid Location: Luksumar NPC: Zeda ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hopefully from the name of this quest you can guess whats coming up. We get to fight the Preta Chief. Isnt this wonderful?! Zeda says: Ferian is on to something. But it does not look like this can be understood the way it was written. Its almost as if its in a different order than it should be. Oh, I got it! It says, The dungeon that hides the ancient remains ancient among its trees. I have a strange feeling coming over me, as though we are being watched Prepare yourself! Before you accept this quest, make sure you are alone, because you dont want someone to come in and kill steal the Preta Chief. Actually, there are 3 of them. If you want, take a few moments to talk to everyone and ask that they dont participate, or at the least, let you have the kills. This quest isnt one that requires an item, as Zeda already took the D- parchment. If someone does KS, just quit the quest then restart it. But thats a hassle, so just try to be the one who gets the kills. Zeda says: Hmm, so you are the ones seeking this parchment. Thank you, if you werent hereI dont even want to think about it. Youll get some nice EXP and Karz, 5000 and 10000 respectively, and the knowledge that you can take out 3 level 19 Preta Chiefs. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 6: Secret of the Ancient Parchment Location: Luksumar NPC: Zeda ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zeda says: I feel like Ive seen this pattern on a parchment somewhere else before. I cant recall exactly but I dont feel good about it. It must be related to our attackers. You didnt forget what the parchment said, did you? It says, The dungeon that hides the ancient remains safe among its trees. Why dont you bring the parchment to Ferian and tell him what it says? Ah, an easy part. All you have to do is talk to Ferain. Youll get the T- parchment from Zeda before you go, which youll end up giving back to Yuri. Its too bad we cant read these items ourselves. Ferian says: Welcome, Ive been expecting you. Did Zeda say anything? That wasinformative. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 7: Returning to Yuri Location: Ludilos NPC: Ferian ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ferian says: You were attacked?!? I cant stop thinking about the patterns on the parchment after hearing your story. Ive written some notes on this parchment. Please give it to Yuri and tell him to be careful. Despite falling victim to yet another case of mistaken gender, this was what we expected Ferian to say. If you have a Gemini Card for Ishutani, then warp via the Aquarius Card. If not, go buy another Townportal Scroll from Sherry or Takion. Yuri says: Ah! You are back, how was the journey? What did Ferian say? Im really curious. No, really? Youre curious? That comes as a shock. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 8: Horn Preta and Ancient Relic Location: Idha NPC: Yuri ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yes, thats right, the quest isnt over yet. Now we get to go investigate all this talk about secret remains in forests. Yuri says: It seems like a lot of mysterious things are happening. What the hell does this parchment mean? Wed better find the ancient remains before things get worse. Ferian noted here that he went to Ishutani. But I dont know where the ancient trees are. Ive only been to the first floor of Ishutani. And now we go back to Ishutani. If you didnt already, buy a Gemini Zodiac Card and write it when you get to the dungeon. Its time to explore. Ill save you some time and effort by telling you that you need to be on the third floor; the same one you went to in order to kill the Erighols back in Luksumar. Travel up to the top of the floor to find A Tree and Reflex Horn. Youll have to thread your way through Giant Ants and Chickers, which will attack you on sight, as well as Harpys and Skeletons, although you can avoid them easily enough. The only real problem youll have is finding the time to talk to Reflex Horn. Youll be surrounded by Giant Ants and Chickers, and they spawn at a very fast rate. Theyll also stick around during the upcoming boss battle, so make sure you have plenty of potions or life-giving spells handy. But thats not until the next portion of the quest. Reflex Horn says: Who are you, and why are you loitering? Are you here for something? And thats the end of that part of the quest. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 9: Horned Pretas Raid Location: Ishutani NPC: Reflex Horn ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reflex Horn says: So You interpreted what the parchment said and came here yourself? You dont even know about the remains of the ancient. What do you think you are doing here? Have you no consideration for your own life! Just hand me the parchment, or die! After that very nice and heartwarming speech, the Horned Preta will be summoned. Take him out, as well as avoiding all the pesky ants and birds, to receive the Ankh item. Talk to A Tree to give him both the parchment and Ankh to receive the Relic. That chalice is what this whole quest has been for. A Tree says: The rightful owner has finally arrived! We dont know what he means about the rightful owner, but weve got it now! Guess what? Were not done yet. Now we have to(insert drumroll here)return to Yuri! What, were you expecting something more complicated? Yuri will be very grateful to you for getting her this lovely item. Yuri says: Thank you, as a sign of my appreciation, Ill give you something dear to me. Youll get some very nice EXP and Karz, as well as a brand new weapon. Unfortunately, its not part of a set. Weapon Rewards: Fighter: Ephe STR +15; Fighter Skill +1 Ranger: Vagnow DEX +15; Ranger Skill +1 Sorceress: Silverion Staff EGO +15; Sorceress Skill +1 Priest: Gladios VIT +15; Priest Skill +1 Summoner: Tower Orb INT +15; Summoner Skill +1 Arcus: Power Bow DEX +15; All Skills +1 You now have two very nice weapons that increase various stats and skills. But which one to use? You could always equip both at the same time and switch back and forth between the two by pressing W in game. But if your encumbrance is getting high, you can always store that extra weapon at the bank. There are at least two in both Ludilos and Idha, and they are blue dots on your mini-map. Click the Storage tab when you begin to talk to them, then drag your weapon, or any item for that matter, into their inventory. You can also store Karz, although you dont get weighed down for it. The great thing about the Storage area is that you can place items inside and take them out as a different character. That character must have been created on the same account, however, and cant be from a different server. Congratulations, youve just finished the quest! Lets head back to Ludilos, shall we? If youre level 20 or higher, then there are two quests for you to choose from, the first from Slovo the Weapons dealer, and the other from Takion the Miscellaneous shop owner. You havent dealt with either of these characters before, but Ive outlined how to find them in their respective quest areas. 4.5 The Secret group of Ephnentria You cant do this quest until youve completed Searching for ancient remains, so if you dont see the help face above Slovo, then there is still just a little bit more for you to do. When you are ready, talk to Slovo. You can also start the Takions Curiosity quest if youre strong enough, but this quest line comes first in the game, so its first in the guide as well. You dont have to do them in this order, but I recommend that you do. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 1: Deliver the Weapons Chest to Kye! Requirements: Level 20 Location: Ludilos NPC: Slovo ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Slovo says: Youre the one who beat up Horn Preta, arent you? Ive heard from Yuri. Thats awesome. UmmI have something to ask of you. Its kind of urgent. But Im not too sure if I should tell you. I have a box of weapons to deliver. But I dont have much time. Oh, I really dontThis needs to be delivered to Kai in Idha. Would you please do it for me? Youll get Slovos Weapon Box, an item that needs to go to Kai. I know, the name in the quest description is Kye, but its the same guy. Youll probably need to buy another Aquarius Zodiac Card, so grab one from Sherry near by and then activate your Ishutani warp card. Actually, youre going to need at least 3 Aquarius cards. Exit and head into Idha. Kai hasnt moved since the Test of Storms quest, right by the entrance, so go talk to him to give him the box. Kai says: It finally arrivedThis is troublesome ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 2: Kyes Trial Location: Idha NPC: Kai ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Once again, the name in the title doesnt match the character, but weve learned to ignore such mistakes by now. Kai says: Shootwhat does he want me to do with these? What does Slovo think hes doing? Well, youhavent you learned how to strengthen weapons before? I didnt expect to see you againAnyways since youre here, I could use your help. Id like to see what you can do before we really get started. Will you go kill Devourers and bring me 10 pieces of Devourers leather? That doesnt sound too hard, does it? This seems like just another run-of-the- mill go-fetch quest. Devourers can be found in the dungeon Deilos, to the west of Ishutani. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Area: Deilos Floors: ? Min level: 20 Max level: 50 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to Deilos! This lovely dungeon is all about tunnels and thin passageways, which havent made much of an appearance so far. The ground floor is littered with Harpys, Skeletons, and Giant Skeletons, but none of them will attack you. It is a good place to level up, though, as the level 33 Giant Skeletons are slow enough that you can attack from a distance, run away, and attack again. The first floor has your Devourers, as well as Ogre Marauders and some nasty guys called Cyclops. The one-eyed fiends are the only real problems here, at level 59, and as soon as they see you, they come running. You might have to search a little for the Devourers, but when you find them, get ready. Theyre the weakest on this level at 27, but they still pack a punch. You need 10 Devourer Leathers. Only theyre really called Devourers Skin. !IMPORTANT! Devourers might occasionally drop an item called Cavemans Seal Stone. It is a quest item for later on in the game, and you cant do anything with it yet. However, this is one of the few chances youll have to get the stone. You cant even start the quest without this item, so try and grab it if you can. If you dont get the Stone here, there is one more chance, but its best to try and get one or two of the Stones as soon as you can so that you dont forget. Once you have all 10 Skins and a Seal Stone or two, head back to Kai. Kai says: Hmm. Just as promised, you have brought Ghoul Leather. Wow, this guy really doesnt know what he wants, does he? I wonder how his wife feels about that Youll lose the skins, but gain the EXP and Karz, so its all good. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 3: New Information and a Newly Assigned Mission Location: Idha NPC: Kai ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kai says: We are actually one of the secret groups of Ephnentria. What were doing is observing and watching groups that are trying to expand their influence and power. You will probably see more of them as time goes by. Those kind of groups have been appearing recently, so weapons were requested from the forefront. But the guy who was supposed to deliver the weapons left. So Im asking you to do so. Well, well, well, isnt that interesting? There are secret groups all across Corum that spy on other groups. And now youre part of one too. It looks like youll be doing all the grunt work, though, with delivery boy being one of your first official missions. The guy youre supposed to deliver the box to is in Deilos, on the first floor. You probably remember seeing him; hes right in front of you when you enter the floor. In fact, hes the reason I sent you to Deilos earlier, so that you knew exactly where you were going. Devourers can be found in other places, but this worked out better for you. Youll also get an item called Leharmids Seal, which you need to have in your inventory to complete the rest of the quest, and several others in the future. Without it, some characters wont believe youre with the group, and will refuse to give you quests. Head over to Deilos and talk to the Soldier. Soldier says: You are one of our members. Did Kye send you? Im glad to see you here. Hell take the Weapon Box (without asking, I might add) and thatll be the end of this branch of the quest. Oh, and it turns out his name is Camp Member. Are you starting to get confused? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 4: Encounter with Agent of the Organization Location: Deilos NPC: Soldier ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Youre going to have to fight some enemies very, very soon, so try and time your acceptance of this quest so that no one can KS your enemies. And try to make sure there are no Cyclops around, as theyll kill you flat out. Camp Member says: I was worried a lot for the delay of supplying weapons before you came. I should carry them to camp soon. It doesnt seem like this before. Its different from when we passed this place. Do you think so? I feel like someone is watching usWatch out! Hahaha, thats right, 4 Skeletons. All at level 8. You thought it would be hard, didnt you? I guess the designers forgot to make them stronger. Whatever the case may be, though, that was one easy mission. Camp Member says: Phew, you saved my life. What? I did? Really? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 5: Transportation of the Weapon Chest Location: Deilos NPC: Soldier ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Soldier says: You already did a lot by carrying weapons to this place. And I am depending on you yet again. As you can see, this place is quite dangerous. I want to deliver this box of weapons. But I cant. I have to stay and guard this place. Would you please bring this box of weapons back to the camp? Once again were placed in possession of the Weapon Box, and we have to bring it to someone new. This next guy is one floor up, so make your way through the tunnels to the next level. If youre not level 25+ by now, youd better start leveling up. Youll meet the Chief when you hit the Second Floor, and boy is he happy to see you. Chief says: Oh. The Weapon Chest is finally in our hands. Well done! The Chief is quite proud of you; in fact, hes so proud, hell offer you a new mission. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 6: Exploration of Deilos Location: Deilos NPC: Chief ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Guess what? Another name change! Yay! Vice President says: Welcome. Nice to see you. You helped a lot in supplying weapons. We would be in serious trouble had you not helped. All members of the camp are currently scattered. Were lacking the resources to investigate the third floor. I have to collect information from there. I need your help. Youve just been promoted from delivery boy to scout. Congratulations, sir or maam. The EXP isnt exactly great, but the Karz is, so go ahead and accept the mission. Were off to the third floor! Actually, we can do this mission on the second. It shows a small area on your mini-map, but aside from the large entry room, its all tunnels and corridors. Youll have to navigate your way through while taking out Giant Hornets, which attack you on sight. Much like Chickers and Giant Ants. Except these flying bastards are strong, fast, and mean. You might have already had some experience with them in other dungeons back near Ludilos, but youre stronger now and they wont provide as much of a problem as before. This is also a great place to train. Youll need to find some Amemaits. They are the only monsters that drop the Broken Armor piece you need, but they dont drop it often. Plus you have all those Giant Hornets, and Bortans, to watch out for as well. Bring the item back to the Vice President for your reward. Vice President says: Good job. Find anything suspicious? Well, at least hes being courteous. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 7: Slowing Down the Erighol Captain! Location: Deilos NPC: Chief ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now theres another task the great and powerful Vice President wants to force upon you. Wonder what it is? Vice President says: Good job. Did you search the entire third floor? It seems like the Erighol Captain is busy these days. I rarely saw him before but I see him quite a lot now. I think it is for the expansion of this area. Someone needs to stop him. Think you can do it? Whether or not you think you can, as soon as you accept the Erighol Captain will appear and youll have to battle him. If you can use long-range attacks like the Summoners Soul Blast or one of the Sorceress many spells, youll be able to take this guy out in no time. No matter what your class or method of fighting, however, just be careful you dont get attacked from behind by the other denizens of this floor. When you beat him, go talk to the Chief again. Hell reward you and give you some more errands to run. Vice President says: OhYou did it. Thank you very much. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 8: Return to Idha Location: Deilos NPC: Chief ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vice President says: I didnt think you could do it by yourself, quite amazing! As I listen to your story, Im beginning to think that Erighol Captain is just a pawn. Humit may be more dangerous than we had initially thoughtWould you mind going back to Idha village and giving Kai this report? So really, hes just saying go talk to Kai again. But hey, at least he knows the name, unlike Slovo from Ludilos. Kai says: Welcome back. Ive been waiting for your return. Weapon Reward: Fighter: Kais Altair Sword (Altairs Set) STR +15; Attack Accuracy +70 Ranger: Kais White Lance (Antares Set) DEX +15; Avoidability +50 Sorceress: Kais Gray Stick (Polaris Set) EGO +15; SP +3% Preist: Kais Divine Maul (Becruxs Set) VIT +15; Attack Speed +50 Summoner: Kais Dimensional Orb (Hadars Set) INT +15; SP +3% Arcus: Kais Crossbow (Lightning Set) DEX +15; Avoidability +70 4.6 Soul Stone If youre level 23 or higher, you can get this quest from Takion, as well as another from Slovo. This quest comes in as number 6, while the one from Slovo is number 5, but that doesnt mean you have to do them in that order. I do recommend doing Slovos quest first, however, as you get another weapon for completing it. Hes located directly south of where you appear in town when you enter from the World Map. Hes a blue dot on your mini-map, in case you were wondering. Youll most likely have to adjust your view in order to see him, as hes hiding. Remember how? Just use the scroll button on your mouse. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 1: Takions Curiosity Requirements: Complete Secret Group of Ephnentria quest line Location: Ludilos NPC: Takion ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Takion says: Hello? Have you ever been to the dungeon, Beyonde? People say a phantom lives in Beyonde. I wonder what they actually look like? Im so curious. If you have the guts to see the phantom, you should go to Beyonde. Now this is what I call an easy quest. All you have to do is find this Tryan thing and speak to it. No problem, right? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Area: Beyonde Floors: 5 Min level: 20 Max level: 50 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Beyonde is to the east of Ludilos, and looks like a castle covered in moss. Inside it looks a bit like Deilos, in that its full of hallways and narrow areas. It isnt the same layout, though, so you wont be too annoyed. Luckily, Tryan is right here on the ground floor and we dont have to search that hard. There are, however, plenty more Giant Hornets flying around. They are really fun, but you should know how to take care of them by now. Tyran is on the right hand side of the dungeon, in the little room sticking out the side. You should find him easily if you follow the right wall. Tyran says: Huh? Youre not that surprised to see me? And just like that, youve completed this leg of the quest. But the spirit isnt done with you. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 2: Encounter with Tyran Location: Beyonde NPC: Tyran ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tyran says: Hahayou came here because you were wondering what I look like? Youre quite an interesting character. If you have that much bravery, maybe you can help me with my problem. The liches on the third floor always pick on me. They even stole my precious jewel. Would you please bring it back to me? Awh, the poor ghost is getting bullied. And those damn liches stole his jewel! Lets go get it back! !IMPORTANT! This is the only other time when you can get the Cavemans Seal Stone. If you didnt get one earlier, you MUST get one now. Even if you did get one earlier, try and get another, just in case someone KS the boss you summon with the one you already have. Trust me, you want to get this item. Im not sure you can have more than one, but try. The drop here hasnt be confirmed by me, but by others. Head up to the third floor, taking out Giant Hornets as you go. I hate them just as much as you, but they must be dealt with. The liches can actually be found on the first floor as well, so you dont have to worry about climbing forever to find them. You have to get really lucky to get the drops, though, as these guys dont like to co-operate. They are also fast runners and have ranged attacks, so theyre harder than you might think. And they do just about as much damage as Giant Hornets. You can always go to somewhere like Luksumar and kill the liches there, as they will drop the Jewel as well. Hell, you can go anywhere there are liches, and they will drop the Jewel. So if youre having trouble herego somewhere else. When you do manage to get Tyrans Jewel, and the Cavemans Seal Stone, head back to the ghost on the ground floor. Tyran says: ThanksIm so happy to have this jewel back. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 3: Tyrans Request Location: Beyonde NPC: Tyran ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tyran says: Finally Ive got my treasure once again. Do you know of a dungeon called Deilos? My little brother lives there. Would you please go see my little brother? Ive heard nothing from him for quite some time. The dungeon is located near the village, Idha. Can ghosts even have siblings? Looks like they can. We know where Deilos is, and the little brother, Gevne, is in the first atrium of the dungeon, so head on over and talk to the little guy. Gevne says: Huh? What does a human want with me? Ungrateful little bastard. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 4: Gevnes Request Location: Deilos NPC: Gevne ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gevne says: Youre so weird. You spoke with my elder brother. And he even asked a favor of you? You even came up hereso you could do me a favor before you leave? Ive recently heard of something you may find interesting. If you do me a favor, Ill tell you. There are things called Ogre Marauders on the first floor of this place. I need their axes. Would you please bring me 10 of them? Yikes, this ghost sounds like a girl. Sorry to all the girls playing this, but he does. Youre so weird. That is a classic girl saying, and you know it. We know all about Ogre Marauders, since we probably fought one or two when we were supposed to be killing Devourers for their leather, back when we were doing Storms Trial. Theyll be easier now then they were before, so head upstairs and start pounding. The Cyclops are still there, though, so watch out. We might be stronger, but those one-eyed monsters are still at level 59. Gevne says: Haha. Thanks. Just thinking about playing with it is making me happy! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 5: The Existence of Soul Stone Location: Deilos NPC: Gevne ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gevne says: As promised, Ill tell you the secret. I heard of this a few days back. Have you ever heard of a soul stone? What? Worlocks? No no no It sounded like its used as a power source or something. It must be something serious. Here, take this to Takion, Im sure he can help. Were back to being an errand boy, although that brief stretch as a mass murderer was quite fun. Head back to Ludilos and talk to Takion, hes waiting for you. Takion says: Oops. What? Thats all he says? What the hell is that supposed to mean? At least he gives you a nice new helmet. This is the second item in your second set, and will give you a bonus of +7 to one of your stats. This is also the first set item that gives you an Additional Option when its been equipped with other items in its set. Helmet Reward: Fighter: Takions Celit STR +7; Quantity of Karz Drop +10% HP +20 Ranger: Takions Headgear DEX +7; Quantity of Karz Drop +10% HP +20 Sorceress: Takions Wind Circlet INT +7; Quantity of Karz Drop +10% SP +20 Priest: ? Summoner: Takions Dimensional Mask INT +7; Quantity of Karz Drop +10% SP +20 Arcus: ? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 6: Found a Clue to Soul Stone Location: Ludilos NPC: Takion ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Takion says: You have been gone for quite some time, I was beginning to think something had happened to you. Were you scared? Ohwhen I went to Luna before, I met Yak. I remember Yak speaking of a Soul Stone some time ago. He is a little tough but knows about a lot of things. A new city awaits us, and this one is in the far north. Luna is perpetually covered in snow, and is a very cold place to be. If you were a pixel character who could feel, that is. The only ways to get there are over land, or by the use of a scroll. The chances of finding a character in-game with a Luna scroll to sell are surprisingly good. All you have to do is look for someone selling scrolls. But if you cant find that person, then you either have to wait an unknowable amount of time for one to show up, or you can walk. I prefer walking, as it doesnt waste any Karz. Leave Ludilos and head east until you find the passage dungeon Kephlus. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Area: Kephlus Floors: 1 Level: 60 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kephlus looks like it could be the ruins of a very large house. There are several super strong monsters here, which is the reason for the level 60 recommendation. You dont have to be at that level, but if you arent, youd better be fast. The monsters here are slow, but theyre strong, and can take you out in a couple hits. Youre probably only around level 30, which is half there own level. And if youve been fighting monsters half your own level, you know how easy it is to win. As long as you avoid the monsters and dont stop to attack, you should get through just fine. The exit is at the top left of the map, and you will only be in here for about a minute and a half. When you get out, you need to find another passage dungeon, this one by the name of Elond. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Area: Elond Floors: 1 Level: 70 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Elond is a little harder to get through, and the enemies are a bit stronger, but once again, as long as youre fast, you can get through without taking any damage. If you head left from the start, make sure you cross the river on the wooded planks, as you cant actually cross unless you use them. Weave around the monsters, they wont attack you. I think. The exit is at the top, and youll see a guy standing there. Youll need to speak to him in a future quest, so remember him. Two down, one to go. Youll pass a place called Kiabronte on your way through this area, and that is a destination youll have to come back to very soon. Head past it and follow the inlet to the passage dungeon Eglest. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Area: Eglest Floors: 1 Level: 60 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eglond has the same level recommendation as Kephlus, and is just as easy to navigate. Just keep an eye on your mini-map as you run through and everything will be fine. If you want, you can attack the Amemaits, as theyre pretty easy to defeat, but stay away from the Bogy Bats and Amemait Veterans, as theyll tear you to pieces unless youre really lucky. On the other side is Luna, and a new set of quests. The only place to put co- ordinates in a Gemini Card is the dungeon Letelos, with a level 20 minimum. You can write the card there, or back in Kiabronte, or even at the end of Eglest, if you want. Wherever you choose, take a moment to write the card whenever possible. Its always a good idea to write a new card when you reach a new town, because you will inevitably have to return. Luna is very small, and as such is easy to navigate. Yak is the yellow dot near the right hand side of the village, and that yellow makes him a Protector. Go ahead and shop around if you want, but you will eventually have to go talk to Yak. Yak says: What! What is a stranger doing in our town?!! What a nice reception. Ill be sure to come back here on vacation. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 7: The Existence of Belkido Revealed Location: Luna NPC: Yak ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yak says: HummI wouldnt even talk to someone like you, if you didnt have Takions letter. You should feel very lucky. If youre trying to get information out of me. Dont you think that you should prove that I can trust you? Welltheres always BelkidoRight! Why dont you go to the dungeon Kiabronte and see Belkido now? Just like I said, well need to go to Kiabronte. We need to speak to someone named Belkido, and by the name of this quest, it seems like he might be some sort of mythical being that no one truly believes exists. Except, of course, for Yak, who seems to know quite a bit about him. Head for Kiabronte to search out Belkido. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Area: Kiabronte Floors: ? Min level: 50 Max level: 80 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The monsters around here are uber strong, and unless you have a party, you will most likely die a million times. The little Volatile Pretas and the big Veteran Skeletons will attack you on sight, and are between levels 50 and 80. You might want to go back to one of the dungeons by Ludilos or Idha and grind for a long time to boost your stats. Seriously, you dont have much of a choice. !IMPORTANT! You do, however, have a choice about whether or not you wish to complete the game. This is another section of the game where you have to kill a certain monster in order to get an important drop for a quest you cant even access yet. We need to get Linas Ring from Treants. There are several places to find them, but the easiest place to find these guys is in Verow, a passage dungeon to the west of Idha. Youll have to contend with Skeleton Bats, Ethereal Bats, and Giant Erighols as well, and the latter two are agro, which is just a fancy way of saying that they will attack you on sight. Same thing with the Treants. If you accepted the quest already, killing one Treant will complete your requirements just the same as if youd talked to Belkido. Or at least, thats what Id like to tell you. You can kill as many Treants as you want, you wont be able to complete the quest until you kill the one that Belkido summons for you. You can, however, have your summoned Treant KSed, then go kill another for credit. Belkido says: You villain! How dare you come here! The Treant itself isnt hard to defeat; the difficult part is surviving the dungeon long enough to get to Belkido and have him summon the Treant. When you do manage to get that far, youll lose the item Yaks Letter, so youd better hope that no one KSs your Treant. After killing the monster, talk to Belkido again to complete this branch of the quest. Belkido says: Hmm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 8: Unsolved Mystery Location: Kiabronte NPC: Belkido ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Belkido says: What is the reason you have come here? I dont know what you want and I seriously dont care. I dont even feel comfortable having you in front of me. Ill give you proof that you met me. We have a little saying from where I come from, it goes, Get the hell out of here! Now that is a nice guy. Its too bad we dont have more people like that in the world today. Head back to Yak and give him Belkidos Seal to finish the quest line. Yak says: What the? I cant believe something like this happened. 4.7 Cavemans Sealed Rock The next quest is given to you by Zeda, over in Luksumar. If you dont know where he is by now, you deserve to be smacked upside the head. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 1: Cavemans Sealed Stone Requirements: Level 20; Cavemans Seal Stone Location: Luksumar NPC: Zeda ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you dont have the Cavemans Seal Stone, which you should seeing as I told you twice to get it, then youre screwed. Seriously, you cant do this quest unless you have the stone. Its that simple. If you need to get it, find some nice character who will let you take one of their Stone drops during one of the three quests I labeled as Stone droppers. Otherwise you my as well give up now. Zeda says: Isnt the caveman leaders sealed rock? The caveman leader is sealed within this stone. Ive heard that people that keep this rock, slowly become evil. Do I understand the letters on this correctly? I need something more. Once 10 small HP potions are loaded into the sealed rock, the letters will get easier to see. Would you please get them? You have 10 small HP potions. If you dont have any in your quick menu, then you should have 20 still in you inventory. If for some reason youve used all your small pots or dont have enough to meet the requirement, kill the Sting Heads, Mimics, Cavemen, and Smashing Pumpkins that surround you until you have enough. Zeda says: Oh, you got it! Ill start deciphering it right away. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 2: Clue to Destroy the Sealed Stone Requirements: None Location: Luksumar NPC: Zeda ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zeda says: The inscription looks so faint, yet the potions have already been used. The letters tell us how to break the sealed rock. First, take the sealed rock to the dungeon, Beyonde and see Tyran. He will help you break it. Beyonde Dungeon is on the east side of Ludilos village. Right, because we dont know where Beyonde is. Weve never been there, and weve certainly never talked to Tyran before. Head over to the ghost in his tower for and talk to him. Hell shed some light on the subject. Tyran says: You are new here, arent you? Dude, youve already met me. I talked to your brother for you. Geez. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 3: Tyrans Suggestion Location: Beyonde NPC: Tyran ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tyran says: You came because my name is written on the sealed rock, correct? You want to break the sealed rock? If so, why dont you solve my problem first? I really hate those loud guys. Ive been trying to get rid of them over and over but they keep coming and bothering me. Would you please get rid of the giant hornets around me? I hate these little bugs. You should be a high enough level for them to not be as much of a nuisance anymore, but theyre still annoying. You have to kill 20 of them, and there are plenty here in Beyonde for you to go after. But you can kill them anywhere you want, so feel free to explore. This actually isnt that hard of a quest. Its just that you need to kill 20 enemies. You dont have to pick up any special drops, though, which is a nice change. When youre done, talk to Tyran. Tyran says: PhewGood job, though theyll not disappear. Im relieved. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 4: Try to Destroy the Sealed Stone Location: Beyonde NPC: Tyran ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tyran says: Now lets see You came to break the sealed rock, didnt you? Its not a difficult task to break it but success isnt always guaranteed. Should you fail to break it, the seal may leak. And if the seal leaks, you could be at risk. Do you still want to try? Nothing will happen when you accept the quest, which is strange. Talk to Tyran again to break the stone and summon the boss. There are two outcomes: 1) You successfully destroy the Sealed Stone, and youre done, no fight; 2) You fail miserably and have to fight the boss. Lets assume you fail. The boss is summoned. This is actually pretty easy. In fact, this guy is weaker then you might think, and hes only level 15. It took me about 5 seconds with a level 30 Summoner, first try. Thats how easy you can beat this level. Talk to Tyran again. Tyran says: Where is the Sealed Stone? Yeah, thats all. Take his advice and go talk to Zeda to end this mission. Zeda says: This is all I can do for you. All he can do is give experience and Karz. Theyre good, but I was kind of hoping for a bit more. Werent you? Thats the end of this quest line, so take a break. The next quest isnt available until you hit level 34, or some such nonsense, so go do some random stuff without having to worry. Help some weaker characters on quests. Be an asshole and KS some bosses and piss other players off. Whatever you do, come back to this guide when you hit level 34 for some more questing fun. 4.8 Revenge of Lina In order to start this quest, you must have the item Linas Ring. If you dont have it, you will not be able to do the quest. This is the exact same thing as what happened with the Cavemans Sealed Stone quest; without the starting item, you cant start the quest. If you didnt get the ring from Treants during the Existance of Belkido Revealed quest, then youd better hope you can find one laying around. Oh, and you have to be Level 34. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 1: Linas Death Requirements: Level 34; Linas Ring Location: Idha NPC: Dalgi ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dalgi says: Wowthis must be the ring I gave Lina. I have not seen her since she left for Idha village. After she disappeared, I did everything I could to find her. Now only her ring returns to meah Did Treants hurt my Lina? Oh, young man, could you help me? Would you please seek out Linas remains? And we finally reach a sad moment in the world of Corum. Lina has been murdered by Treants, and we need to kill them in order to bring old Dalgi some comfort. We need to collect 5 Remains of Lina, which only Treants drop, obviously. The item is actually called Linas Article, but thats okay because it counts as what we wanted to get from here. The third floor of Letelos has Treants as you should already know if you went there to get Linas Ring in the first place. You can hang out and fight the Giant Erighols and Ethereal Bats if you want, but youll get more EXP faster if you head back to Dalgi and complete this branch of the quest. Dalgi says: Young man, thank you very much. Old man, you are very much welcome. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 2: The Whereabouts of Linas Remains Location: Idha NPC: Dalgi ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dalgi says: I owe you so much. I see these things are from Lina. But none of these keepsakes are damagedIt must have been something else that hurt my Lina! I might be able to find out who it is once I arrive in Letelos dungeonOh, young manI really want to find Linas remains before I die. Would you please help me? If you even considered not helping this poor old man, you are a disgrace to the human race. But thankfully, youre heart has gone out to him and his awful plight, and youll click Accept. All we need to do is talk to Baarak. Whoever the hell that is. Head west from Luna to find Letelos, which is actually the only other building in this area aside from a Seige Dungeon and Eglest, the passage dungeon. You seriously cannot miss Letelos, there is no possible way. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Area: Letelos Floors: ? Min level: 20 Max level: 50 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Baarak is right in front of you when you enter, which is great because it means you wont have to fight anyone other than the occasional Lich that might somehow find its way to the entrance of the dungeon. Baarak is the giant ice sculpture thingwell, it might be more accurate to say that Baarak is the person frozen inside the giant ice sculpture thing. Choose the Quest option to start the conversation. Baarak says: A year ago, I happened to witness an incident. I still vividly remember Botans killing someone. I dont know what a Botan is, but I sure as hell know what a Bortan is, and I hate their guts. It looks like Bortans are the reason Lina is dead, so head back to Dalgi and give her the news. Arghnow I want to kill some Bortans Dalgi says: Ahpoor Lina. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 3: Old mans Request Location: Luna NPC: Dalgi ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dalgi says: Im dying to get my revenge, and I have to get Linas remains too I am too old to do this myself Oh I have been smoking too much Could you do this for me? Oh, pleasefinding her is my final wish in this life. Yeesh, youd think this guy was dying or somethingoh, wait, he is. Well, lets go kill somewait, what? After accepting the mission, youre informed that all you have to do is deliver a piece of paper to Paltrow, in Luna village. Whom, if you are standing in just the right spot, you can see. Wow, this is probably the hardest quest Ive ever had to do. Paltrow says: Ah. I just confirmed it. Please deliver this to Dalgi. Youll get a Medium HP Potion to give to Dalgi. And thats the end of it. I feel like taking a nap, that quest took a lot of effort. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 4: Second thoughts about Desire for Revenge Location: Luna NPC: Dalgi ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dalgi says: You did a good job. I especially love this potion. It probably doesnt mean much to you but I wouldnt trade this for anything I cant believe my little daughter was killed by those two ugly and horrible hands But Ill accept reality now Please, avenge Lina for me. And now he admits that Linas his daughter, although you probably already figured that out, you being as smart as you are. After all, youre not the one reading a guide, are you? All we have to do is kill a Bortan and get Linas Bone, as its actually called. Bortans are over in Letelos, on the second floor, so head out. And by the way, for some reason, you still have that potion that Dalgi wouldnt tradefor anything. Hehehe, sucker. !IMPORTANT! Once again, we need to grab an item that will be needed for another quest. This time its the Erighol Sealed Stone, a quest that we can get from Zeda whenever we get the stone. Bortans are the only creatures that drop it, and only while youre in the middle of this quest. Do not, I repeat, do NOT leave here without a stone. But considering how long it will take just to get Linas Bone, youll probably get a Seal Stone first. Oh, and twice now, Ive killed one Bortan and gotten two Seal Stones. I dont know if this happens to everyone, or just my account, but it helps later if your boss gets KSed. Bortans have spikes on their hands, and are agro, so dont go AFK down here, or youll be dead by the time you come back. They also try to convince you that they are innocent of the dark deed for which you hunt them; but we know that theyre lying. Dalgi says: *sob* I really appreciate you doing this. I think Lina can finally rest in peace now. You get a belt, the third piece in your new set, and believe me youll be happy with the boosts. Simply having all three items you have so far equipped will give you +100 to either HP or SP, depending on your character. Belt Rewards: Fighter: Dalgis Anger HP Recovery Power +7; STR +10 Attack Accuracy +100 Ranger: ? Sorceress: ? Priest: ? Summoner: Dalgis Destruction SP Recovery Power +7; INT +10 Avoidability +100 Arcus: ? 4.9 Erighols Sealed Rock Im going to assume you remembered the Erighol Seal Stone drop from the last quest. Because if you didnt, youre screwed. You know the drill by now, so I wont repeat myself. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 1: Erighol Sealed Stone Requirements: Erighol Seal Stone Location: Luksumar NPC: Zeda ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zeda says: Oh my god Isnt this Erighols sealed rock? Where did you get this People say it brings bad luck. I believe I understand this, but Something more is needed. I need 10 small HP potions. Once these potions are loaded into the sealed rock, the letters will become easier to see. Would you please fetch them for me? Unless I miss my guess, this is going to unfold exactly like the Cavemans Sealed Stone quest line. Once again, give her 10 of your potions, or kill random creatures around you if you dont have them. Zeda says: Oh, you got it! Ill start deciphering it right away. Yeah, just like before. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 2: Decipher the Sealed Stone Location: Luksumar NPC: Zeda ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zeda says: Its hard to focus with all this noise. I got it! It tells us how to break the sealed rock. Take the sealed rock to the dungeon, Larno, on the east side of Idha village and see La Bling. You should be able to break it. To see Larno, you should go through the passage dungeon, Vernus on the south-east side of Idha village. La Bling? What is he, a gangster? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Area: Vernus Level: 50 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vernus is a lot like Vernow, in the sense that its big, and sandy. Thats where the resemblance ends, though. Aside from the relatively harmless Amemait guys, you can find Wisps and Volatile Pretas both agro enemies. Its a long run through but you can do it. On the other side youll see awindmill? That dungeon is called La-reno, so we dont want to go thereno, wait, its another spelling mistake. Head inside the windmill to find La Bling. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Area: La-reno Floors: ? Min level: 30 Max level: 60 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here in La-reno, you are going to cry. Giant Hornets and Ethereal Bats roam the hallways, but thankfully La Bling is relatively close to the entrance. Hes the giant floating wizard that you cant miss. La Bling says: You are new here, arent you? And thats it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 3: La Blings Agony Location: La-reno NPC: La Bling ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- La Bling says: I see why you came here to see me. So you want to break the sealed rock, huh? If so, would you solve my problem first? I really hate the souls of those bats Ive been trying to get rid of them for what seems like eternity but they keep bothering me. Would you please get rid of these ethereal bats for me? If you had any doubts before, now you should now without a doubt that this is unfolding the exact same way as with the other sealed stone we had. Your quota is 20, so start fighting. La Bling says: PhewGood job, although I doubt theyll disappear. Im relieved. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 4: The Moment of Choice Location: La-reno NPC: La Bling ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- La Bling says: Now lets see You came to break the sealed rock, didnt you? Its not a difficult task to break it but success isnt always guaranteed. Should you fail to break it, the seal may leak. And if the seal leaks, you could be at risk. Do you still want to try? After accepting, you have to talk to La Bling again. Hell then try to break the stone. If you break the stone but not the seal, youre screwed until you find another one. If you successfully break the seal Geemy worry became a reality. The seal on the stone was broken. Be careful. Erighol Captain will be summoned, but hes relatively easy to beat. If you can take out Giant Erighols without much trouble (theyre in Vagnow) then you should be able to take out the captain. When youre done, head back to Zeda. Zeda says: This is all I can do for you. This time around, we get a very nice glove. Once again, the final item in the set gives you +1 to all Skills, as well as +7% to an atribute. Glove Rewards: Fighter: Zedas Forged Gauntlet All Elements Resistance Power +3%; STR +5 All Stats +3 Ranger: ? Sorceress: ? Priest: ? Summoner: Zedas Glove of Death All Elements Resistance Power +3%; INT +5 All Stats +3 Arcus: ? 4.10 Crisis of Secret Group Head out to Idha, and speak to Kai. Its time we got a little more involved with the secret groups of Ephnentria. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 1: A Patrol for the Secret Organization-1 Requirement: Level 35 Location: Idha NPC: Kai ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kai says: Hummthats strange. Its not much information Would you please do me a favour? Could you go to Depharsenum dungeon right now and give the scout this order sheet? Apparently you were such a good errand boy before that Kai has decided to use you as one again. Lets accept then go find out where Depharsenum is. As it turns out, Depharsenum is nowhere near Idha. Youll need to head all the way back to Ludilos in order to get close. From Ludilos, head north until you find the passage dungeon Mirandier. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Area: Mirandier Level: 50 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This lovely place is reminiscent of Vernus, but only in terms of enemies. The layout is extremely different, and smaller to boot, but the enemies are the same and just as annoying. It shouldnt take long to get through, though, so you dont have much to worry about. On the other side, merely follow the road north-west to find your destination. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Area: Depharsenun Floors: ? Min level: 30 Max level: 60 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The first thing that should enter you mind is that this place is exactly the same as Beyonde. And, well, thats almost true. The layout is the same, and youll still have to deal with Giant Hornets, but other than that, its different. But not by much. The Ethereal Bats, however, are new, and not welcome. You need to get to the second floor, but as soon as you hit the first youll see that the next floors are not the same as Beyonde. Its not a problem, thanks to the mini-map, but you will have to navigate a little bit. The Giant Hornets are here again, but thats all youll hate. And then we hit the second floor. The Volatile Pretas and Treants will piss you off royally, but if you can make it to the doorway, then youre in the clear. Hahaha, you didnt think itd be that easy, did you? Not only do you have to make your way to the other side of this floor, but there are Bortans, Giant Erighols, and Amemaits just waiting to tear you to shreds. Good luck. The scout is about three fifths of the way through the dungeon; if you follow the path, it shouldnt be that hard to find him. Patroller 1 says: Thank you. I understand. Yeahso do we? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 2: Report in Deparshenon Location: Depharsenun NPC: Patroller 1 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scout says: Here, take the report back with you. Oh, and give Kai the knife from Amemait. It can be proof. Despite the fact that the game cant figure out what this guys name is or where hes located, it seems like a pretty simple quest: kill some Amemaits, then talk to Kai. You probably dont want to stay here with a few dozen Bortans, so head somewhere else to fight the Amemaits. Kilent, north of Ludilos, is a good place to find them, as well as Adriman4, north of Idha. And since you have to go there anyways, to speak with Kai, lets head to Adriman4. Kai says: Hmm. I see. Well, what happened in Deparshenon Dungeon shouldnt be a big deal. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 3: A Patrol for the Secret Organization-2 Location: Idha NPC: Kai ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kai says: Sorry for bothering you. But time is of the essence. Its a scout in Letelos this time. Please meet with the scout. You remember where Letelos is, right? Its the dungeon that Lina was murdered in back during the quest line Revenge of Lina. In case youre drawing a blank, its to the west of Luna. Warp over there and head west. Well need to go one level lower than we did in order to kill the Bortans, but that shouldnt be hard. You can avoid pretty much every enemy, and you know the path already, or at least you should. Treants reside down here, as well as two types of Amemait. The scout, called Patroller 2, is located far away from you. Take the middle path until you reach the T. Take it up, then follow to the right as far as you can go. Patroller 2 is waiting for you with a thank you sign above his head. Patroller 2 says: Thank you. Youre welcome. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 4: A Patrol of Leteros Location: Letelos NPC: Scout ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scout says: The inspection report is almost done. But a bit of work must be done. The bortans here are driving me nuts, I cant focus. So Im asking you. Would you silence 10 Bortans while Im finishing up the report? This explanation is a bit fishy, seeing as the Bortans are on a different floor. Head back up and slaughter 10, then come back to the Scout. It is much easier this time than when we were searching for Linas Remains; now we know that after killing a certain amount, we can leave. And, were stronger. Scout says: Phew. If it hadnt been for you, it would have taken much longer. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 5: Report in Leteros Location: Letelos NPC: Patroller 2 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scout says: Sorry to bother you. I know this shouldnt be any problem for someone such as yourself. Please get this to Kai. Do you really need me to tell you what to do here? Kai says: Good job! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 6: A Patrol for the Secret Organization-3 Location: Idha NPC: Kai ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kai says: Sorry to keep asking you for help but Youre one of the powers to save not only our group but perhaps the whole world. Would you give this to the scout in Beyonde dungeon? You definitely know where Beyonde is. This is the third quest line to use it as a destination, so if youve forgottenmaybe you should be on medication. This is the last scout well have to talk to, thankfully, and hes the easiest to find out of the three. The third floor map for Beyonde is the same as that for Depharsenon, and the scout is in the same place. Easy, huh? Patroller 3 says: Thank you. Congrats on a job well done. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 7: Report in Beyond Location: Beyonde NPC: Patroller 3 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scout says: There should be something herebut I cant find anything of interest Bring this to Kai as soon as possible anyway. Well isnt this a nice change of pace? Nothing to do! Head back to Kai. Kai says: OhhI appreciate it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 8: Crisis of Commander Location: Idha NPC: Kai ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kai says: Oh my god! I didnt realize it when I just saw each report one by one. These guys were organized and working in tandem. Go to Deilos right now and keep the vice president safe! The secret organization will be at risk should something happen to him. Go meet the vice president, and kill 10 ethereal bats. Now this is what weve needed. Some intrigue! The bad guys in the three dungeons have been working together and are trying to assassinate the vice president! We need to save him! I think I just did a spectacular job of rewording what Kai said. That definately wasnt a waste of time. If you visit the VP first, youll find that you wasted your time. Hell say that hes fine, but busy at the moment so could you leave him alone. Head north to Adriman4 first, and climb to the second floor from the ground. There youll find Ethereal Bats. !IMPORTANT! Yay! Its another quest item drop! The item this time around is Glittering Watch. Youll need it to start a quest from Ferian later on. Ethereal Bats drop them, and only in this quest. Get it before you leave. Once youve killed 10 Bats, head to Deilos and talk to the VP. Thats right, not Kai. Kai wont say anything at all, as a matter of fact. Vice President says: Welcome. What brings you here today? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 9: Reporting of Circumstances Location: Deilos NPC: Vice President ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wow. I see As you see Im just fine. Dont worry and tell Kai Im safe. Well thats a relief. Turns out he wasnt in trouble at all. Lets go tell Kai, shall we? Kai says: Welcome. Is the commander safe? What did he say? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 10: The Commanders Identity Location: Idha NPC: Kai ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kai says: How could I have been so foolish! I dont think its the real vice president!! Go back and take a closer look at him. I think something has happened to the real vice president. Im finally understanding it all now. Uh-oh. Somebodys in troubleand it looks like its the Vice President! Head back to Deilos already! Okay, I really need to stop re-iterating what the NPCs are saying. Vice President says: You just had to snoop around and find my true identity. Now that you know, I have to kill you! The Ogre Knight Captain will be summoned; hes at level 48. Take him out any way you can. If youre a Summoner or Sorceress, thisll be a piece of cake. For the other classes, you might want to grab a friend or three before trying this. Its not the Ogre Knight Captain you have to worry about; its the Giant Hornets and Bortans that also inhabit the floor. Theres nothing else to do here, so head back to Kai and confirm his suspicions. Kai says: What!! Damn monsters!! Youll get a fair amount of EXP and Karz for that, and the end of this quest line. You get another quest at level 40, over in Ludilos, but until then, feel free to wander around the world fighting whatever monsters get in your way. If you dont have the Glittering Watch, make sure you find some way to obtain it; youre screwed if you dont. Oh, and when you hit level 40, youll get to add another stat point every level, which brings you up to 7. Sweet deal, eh? 4.11 Varied Name Hey, it appears this girl is more than just annoying! When you hit level 40, Abyss will get a very lovely Help! sign above her head. Go and talk to her to find out what she wants. Turns out she wants two different things from you. The first is a class- specific quest its different for each type. The second is a normal quest item. Fighters Quest Rangers Quest Sorceress Quest Priests Quest Summoners Quest: A new Shield - Summoner During this quest line, youll have to kill some of the same monsters and even go to the same dungeons as those in the quest line Perions Watch, so I strongly suggest doing them both at the same time. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 1: To Terion Requirements: Level 40 Location: Ludilos NPC: Abyss ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Abyss says: You know Summoners use attack magic, dont you? Its important to defend against attacks too you know. Ill give you a little advice. Go and tell Terion that I asked him to make a protector for you. He can make a good one for you. You know where Terion is, so go on and visit him. Terion says: Is this Mr. Avis request? Then I gotta make it right away, haha. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 2: Shield Materials Location: Ludilos NPC: Terion ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Terion says: If you want a better protector than you have now, I need 5 black mithril and 10 pieces of special leather. You can get black mithril from dipen wisps and giant erighol veterans, and the special leather from treant veterans. Go now. Where to find Dipen Wisps and Giant Erighol Veterans? Why, Beyonde of course! The 5th floor has all the monsters you could possibly want, as well as a nasty Witch that will kill you as soon as she spots you. You should know, however, that the Giant Erighol Veterans are actually called Guard Giant Erighols. Same creature, same drops, different name. Also, the Dipen Wisps are actually Defen Wisps. Again, just a spelling mistake. Theyll both drop Black Mithril, though, so kill them both when they appear. Terion says: Good job. I should be able to make a strong shield with this. Yay! Were done! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 3: The Most Important Material Location: Ludilos NPC: Terion ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Okay, maybe were not done yet. Terion says: I almost forgot the most important thing. The blessed special leather that makes a shield strong. I need 5 pieces of the special leather from Treant Veterans. Get it and bring it to Abyss. Oh great, more ingredients. Head over to Deilos, west of Idha, and head to the top floor to find the Treant Veterans. Theyre actually called Guard Treants, but youre used to spelling mistakes by now. Theyll drop Special Leather, and we only need 5 of them. Bring them to Abyss in Ludilos when you have all 5. Abyss says: Blessed special leather? Ill be right back. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 4: New Shield Location: Ludilos NPC: Abyss ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Abyss says: Alright. Heres the blessed leather. All you have to do is take the leather over to Terion. Terion says: Good job. Waitjust a minute. Well, here you are! Shield of Refraction Avoidability +30 All Elements Resistance Power +5% Arcus Quest 4.12 Perions Clock This is the second quest you can get from Abyss, one thats actually a normal quest. You can do it at the same time as the class-specific, so dont worry about finishing the other. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 1: Ferians Watch-1 Requirements: Level 40, Glittering Watch Location: Ludilos NPC: Abyss ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Abyss says: Wellthese are the ancient lettersIt says, To my lovely wife, from Ferian. Maybe you go speak to Ferian. Well you know where Ferian is, so go see him. Ferian says: Ohthis is*sob. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 2: The Story of Ferain 10 Years Ago Location: Ludilos NPC: Ferian ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ferian says: I was living in a small village 10 years ago. My wife and I were happy. One day, monsters suddenly attacked the village. While escaping from the attack, I lost sight of my wife. I tried to find her but to no avail. Would you please seek revenge for me? The ones who attacked the village were giant erighols and wisps. All you need to do, apparently, is to kill some Wisps and Giant Erighols, then collect the Ordering Stone. Sounds simple, right? Well, it is. You can find both Giant Erighols and Wisps on the 4th floor of Beyonde, which is right close to Ludilos. Its either Beyonde, or Deilos over by Idha. The Giant Erighols will drop the Order Stone, which is the item needed to finish the quest. Double-check to see if you got all 10 Wisps, then head back to Ferian. Ferian says: Thank youbut what is this? Its a command stone, their means of communication. We may be able to determine those that attacked the village. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 3: The Sacrificial Offering Location: Ludilos NPC: Ferian ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This sounds a bit ominous. Lets hope we dont have to kill anyone. Ferian says: Ive discovered the connection to this rock. The boss called Drin. Please slay him in remembrance of the victims of my village. Hes the boss of giant erighols. So when his servants are attacked, he should come to protect them. Well, we do have to kill something, but its not a person, so everythings okay. Our only real choice here is to head back to Beyonde, or wherever you found Gaint Erighols, and start killing. Drin will appear, eventually, but hes not any different from Giant Erighols. Yes, he has higher HP, but hell go down fairly easy. Youll get Drins Head and Firecracker items, which you need to take back to Ferian. Youll also hear a bit about someone named Kardman. It seems this character ordered Drin to do what he did to Ferians village. Did someone say plot twist? Ferian says: Thank you. Now the spirits of my village people can rest in peace. Did he say that Kardman was behind this? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 4: The Real Villain Location: Ludilos NPC: Ferian ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ferain says: I forgot about Kardman! I know a lot about monsters because Ive studied them in my searches for my wife. I think Kardman and Drin contacted eachother through this. If I set this off, Kardman should think Drin is calling him and come out. Do you think you can take him on? Kadmaan, the leader of the Wisps, can be found anywhere you see Wisps. Simply kill one with the Firecracker in your inventory and Kadmaan will appear. Youll lose the Firecracker, though, so if someone KSs Kadmaan youll need to Give Up the quest and start again to get another Firecracker. Youll impressive Kadmaan by being able to kill him, and hell drop the Ghost Stone, which is really the Soul Stone that Ferian sent you to retrieve. Bring it back to the Protector to get your reward. Ferian says: This is my wifes Is that the spirit that can record voices Sob Thank you. Your reward is Ferians Watch, a nice little ring that increases your HP and SP by 5% each. 4.13 Secret of the Soul Stone ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 1: Coversation with Yak Requirements: Level 43 Location: Luna NPC: Yak ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yak says: Gods created and destroyed worlds at will a long time ago. The gods of destruction were dissatisfied and wanted to create their own world. So they began the war. The war dragged on and almost everything was destroyed. There were only five of them left. Exhausted from the war They sealed themselves away. Their bodies became this continent and their souls became soul stones. Did you get all that? Good, because all this quest entails was that you read what Yak had to say. Speak to him again when youre done. Yak says: Thats all I know. Belkido might know more about it. Ah damn. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 2: To Belkido Location: Luna NPC: Yak ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yak says: Sorry. I cant tell you any more. Belkido knows more than I do. I didnt know he would send you back to me. Maybe you should speak with him again, and let him know youre serious. Head over to Kiabronte. Belkido is in the same spot, and hes still surrounded by Skeleton Veterans and Volatile Pretas, so make sure youre bringing some high impact skills. Or a lot of friends. Belkido says: Are you back again!!? The Soul StoneI guess I have no choice but to tell you about it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 3: Death of Belkido Location: Kiabronte NPC: Belkido ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Belkido says: Wait, I am feeling something nearby. Arent you? Boss battle! Okay, maybe not. Three Wisps will appear all around you, plus youll have to deal with any normal monsters that spawn around that area. Belkido will still be there, but hes dead now, so go back to Yak and inform him of his friends death. Yak says: Did ya just say that Belkido is dead?!! Hahaha ~ Its nothing to worry about!! These guys are nothing to me. UmOkay? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 4: Yaks Request Location: Luna NPC: Yak ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yak says: Belkido never dies. Hes eternal. But the problem is that he loses his memories for a while when he comes back to life. Belkido must be really angry though. So, lets take our revenge for him. Kill all those guys, wisps. We need to go to the fourth floor of Beyonde, so lets warp our way over to the Ludilos area and go visit that old castle, shall we? !IMPORTANT! The only way to do the next set of quests is by stopping what youre doing and grinding to level 45. Tyran gives you a quest at that level, and everyone in the forums who knows what theyre doing says that you can only get Tyrans quest if you are still in this quest. Im going to take there advice, and not risk anything. 5. Monster List Definitions: Agro Aggressive; these monsters will seek you out and attack you.
