If you crouch in the tall grass when you are in Story mode the enemies will not be able to see you unless you fire or they look directly at you for a few seconds. They will though know where your teammates are.

To make Turo run faster have him hold the knife in place of other weapons.
Complete the game under the Normal or Hard difficulty setting to unlock this mode.
