If you add plenty of flowers to your home islands you will attract flying animals and insects to it.
If you click the current name of the island you want to change in the upper right of the screen you will be able to rename it.
Use the money that you earn from playing minigames to buy decorations for the island to complete it and unlock new minigames. The decorations are each divided into bars (Food, Fun, and Comfort) and filling ALL the bars for the island will complete the island.
