The Sims 4: Paranormal Stuff Pack Cheats and Tips

Claude Rene Duplantier Guidry, or Guidry for short, is a ghost NPC in The Sims 4 Paranormal Stuff Pack that likes to hang around haunted residential lots. Guidry will appear of his own accord on the second day after a household moves into a haunted house. This will be sometime after 9pm. Alternately, you can max out your Sims Medium skill by using multiple interactions at the Seance Table, doing this will enable them to speak to Guidry. Guidry basically serves as a guide to the pack and to all things paranormal, giving Sims advice on what to do to clear a haunted house of accursed objects or appease angry specters.

Once your Sims move into a haunted residential lot they will begin to see little green ghosts or 'specters' roaming around their home. As these ghosts scare your Sims and anyone who visits them, they will want to get rid of them. In order to do this, you can either offer the ghosts a piece of your soul, or attempt to communicate with them at higher Medium levels.

This basically means the more experience your Sim has, the more options they will have available to them. You will need to purchase the Seance Table item and select 'Commune with the departed'. This will enable your Sims to slowly add to their Medium strengths and new options will become unlocked. One of which is the ability to present offerings to the ghosts. The more time you spend in the presence of the ghosts, the friendlier they will be towards your Sims.

Temperance is an angry ghost NPC who will create problems for your Sims when she appears, these include creating more cursed objects, interrupting interactions with specters, and extinguishing ghastly candles. Moving a household into a haunted residential lot will cause Temperance to spawn for the first time on the 5th night and commence making your Sims' lives a misery. There are two ways in which you can get rid of Temperance, you can ask Guidry who will grant the Sim a small a Bizzare Idol which when placed in the same room as her will stun her with fear and eventually Temperance will leave the lot. The other way is to summon Bonehilda who will fight with Temperance and force her to eventually leave the lot.

Bonehilda is a skeletal maid who in previous Sims titles you could purchase her coffin and call upon her to do chores anytime by knocking on her coffin to wake her up. In The Sims 4 Paranormal Stuff Bonehilda does not emerge from a coffin but is instead summoned.

Summoning Bonehilda requires at least Level 3 Medium Skill, which does not take a lot of skill grinding to unlock. Your Sim will also need to have access to a seance table (or seance circle). Once summoned, Bonehilda will appear at the seance and perform household tasks such as cleaning and repairs. Bonehilda will stick around for about 12 in-game hours before leaving the lot. You can summon her again immediately, there is no cooldown period for summoning her.
