To bring up the cheat console press Ctrl + Shift + C and enter the following codes
Get $1,000:
Kaching
Get $50,000:
Motherlode
Allows access to all Career rewards:
UnlockCareerRewards
Allows for more expensive Aspiration Reward objects:
AspirationPoints #
Freezes Aspiration point decay for every sims on the lot:
LockAspiration on/off
Turns Aging off or on, all Sims living on the lot are affected:
Aging off/on
Turns natural need decay on or off:
MotiveDecay on/off
0 puts them in the lowest level and 5 in the platinum level:
AspirationLevel (0-5)
Adds 'Set Age' to the Interaction menu:

Adjusts the slope angle on all roofs on a lot in Build mode:

Enables you to move and delete things that you couldn't before:

Get Options on any Sim or Object (when cheat has been entered hold down shift and left click on the Sim or object to get the new options):
BoolProp TestingCheatsEnabled true
Press [Ctrl] + [Shift] + C during game play to display the console window. Enter boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true to activate testing cheats mode. This is a very powerful cheat that enables many new things. In Create A Sim, after enabling this code, go into debugmode by pressing [Shift] + N before making a Sim. You now have the following new things in Create A Sim: skin tones, clothing, and some other options such as viewing the skinfilenames. In the game itself, after enabling this code, hold [Shift] and left click on a Sim to have lots of options, such as changing clothes, make your Sim fat or thin, set their aspiration level, etc. This code also can spawn some interesting items, such as the tombstone of L(ife) and D(eath), and family members.

1. How to make townies selectable: Go to the neighborhood view and type this in how it is exactly: boolprop testingCheatsEnabled true When you're playing your sims and you want to play with a person that passes by, shift click on them, and somewhere you should see MAKE SELECTABLE. Click that and on the side you should see that persons thumbnail and play with them
2. Do you get frustrated with this: Your teenage sim loves another teenage sim thats a townie. You can't wait to get them married when they grow up. Your sim grows up but the other townie doesn't. Hate that? Heres the cheat to solve your problems! Make them selectable and shift click on them. Click set to birthday and voila! He/she is an adult so they can get married
3. How to unlock wicked awesome stuff: type in boolprop testingCheatsEnabled true. Go to create a sim and before you create your first sim, press Shift+N. Don't press shift m though or it will close!
In order to get a lot of money really fast, hold CONTROL+SHIFT and hit C. Then, type in motherlode. Next, hold down CONTROL+SHIFT again. Then repeatidly hit C+UP+ENTER.
Type in help and it will tell you all the cheats for the game
Press ctrl+shift+c all at once , then type boolProp Testingcheatsenabled true , then shift+click a sim , then click spawn , then click more , then click sim modder , and a little baby pops up , you can do almost any thing you want with this, it's awesome.
This cheat only works with Nightlife installed.
Go to the cheat window (Ctrl + Shift + C), Type Familyfunds <family's name> <number of $>
This a cheat you get when you register at EA.

Here is a way to get the exact amount of money tou want. Ok, when you are playing with a family, open cheat console (crtl-shift-c) and type in faimlyfunds (faimlies last name) #
Example: faimlyfunds RiCardo 5000
BoolProp testingCheatsEnabled true-Every space and capital.Do in neighbourhood.
Click shift and there will be more opitions.You can put your skills,personalty,interests and needs.
Motherlode-ยง50,000 put the cheat box up press o then there will be a bigger box highlight motherlode then press ctrl+c enter then copy ctrl+v then enter so on.
Move_objects on-moves objects that cannot be moved.
