Here are the resons why dogs run away

1.when they are chased by another pet (works on cowardly pets mostly)

2.when they are chased by a wolf

3.when they lose a fight with another pet, especially a wolf

4.if they have four or more enemy relationships with pets or sims in the household

5.a fire breaks out

6.a dogs master dies

7.the last sim that has the mine relationship with a cat dies

8.a relationship is so damaged that a master or mine relationship is lost.

9.a pets social need drops below -85
