There is a variety of additional character icons and titles to unlock in game. To get them, you must complete trials or arcade mode using the particular character you want the unlock for.
Blue Character Title Bear Arcade Mode on any difficulty using the particular character.
Gold Character Title 1 Complete 12 different trials using the character.
Gold Character Title 2 Complete 14 different trials using the character.
Gold Character Title 3 Complete 18 different trials using the character.
Gold Character Title 4 Complete 20 different trials using the character.
Gold Character Title 5 Complete 22 different trials using the character.
Red Character Title Beat Arcade Mode on the hardest difficulty using the particular character.
Silver Character Title 1 Complete 2 different trials using the character.
Silver Character Title 2 Complete 3 different trials using the character.
Silver Character Title 3 Complete 4 different trials using the character.
Silver Character Title 4 Complete 6 different trials using the character.
Silver Character Title 5 Complete 10 different trials using the character.
Character Icon 1 Complete a trial using the character.
Character Icon 2 Complete 8 different trials using the character.
